For the first time in what seems like a life time it feels like things are moving in the right direction and there is someone at the helm who knows what he is doing. Three cheers for Massimo Cellino.

I saw it earlier but it's run off now ;-)

Doukara and Bianchi looked superb in Saturday

I don't think we should be playing in green anymore either.

Sad to see Carbone on his way. Thanks for the memories Benitto, you will go down as a legend

Haha what a waste of time that was. Just don't understand why he would get rid of naylor in the first place had done a really good job

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Dmash! I know its cost cutting but you still need to keep your best staff and Naylor, I believe, had a lot to offer.

Bianchi and Hock have made a huge difference. Diamond and McDermott didn't work last season however it has in our last 2 games. Impressed with the signings

Well said Spain. I must admit my expectations have been rising and falling after every friendly. whatever happens at the Den on Saturday I will reserve my judgement until after the first half dozen games and then we'll get some idea of whether we're going to be in the mix or not. I'll also be interested to see how The Hock performs when things don't go our way, has he got a plan B?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With Cellino's track record for firing, Plan B will be a P45, I hope Hockaday is a success and is given time to prove himself.

Andy

I guess like every other club its a results based job for the Hock, I wish him luck for the coming season I think he will need it as MC is not easily pleased by all accounts ;)

find it really interesting before yesterdays game there was so much negativity on the net about the team selection and Hock. On this site it was difficult to read any post without reading how we are going to be relegated and the team and manager are carp and MC is a lair. We need a new striker we need new wingers we need center backs omfg we are rubbish before we kick a ball.

We then played Dundee and played pretty well. The football was attractive the team hungry. Even morrison had not a bad game. The new signing proved they can actually play a bit, ok more than a bit and the Hock could actually be fairly smart. We have kids coming through and all seemed fairly positive.

Dont see many of the negative posters saying anything much. But then they are only happy when we are loosing.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nice one Spain. I shall be investing many beer tokens on the 2/1 for us to beat Millwall next saturday, then through the fog of a huge hangover I shall invest in the 40/1 for the title. Well, hopefully! The future is bright, the future is White

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with your comments Spain. From a personal point of view the only negative comment I made was with regard to selling a central defender without a replacement a week before the season begins. Two experienced players in this position is definitely not enough but hopefully we will bring someone in. We are undoubtedly in a period of transition and this is the best thing that's happened to us for many a year so I can't understand the general negativity either. God knows what people will say if we don't beat Millwall. It's going to be a season of highs and lows but let's not get carried away with doom and gloom after the first game of the season. there'll be another 45!

Spain well said. ;)

Whose on 50/1 to win it and which Victor Meldrew put his bucks on the 7/2 to be relegated?
CANNOT believe a Leeds fan actually took time to look at the relegation odds!

Agree0 Disagree0

Already backed the boys to go up this season 3 weeks ago. Remember Rocky? The unknown Italian Stallion surprise. Lol. A year ago who had heard of Cellino or Hockaday?
Is Cellino our Italian saviour?
Maybe. Just maybe these unknowns can take us back to the good times. I for one are backing them to do it! It may take a couple of years but Leeds for life! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Quick reality check. Dundee United have shipped their best players over last 4 weeks (Baby Messi to Sporting Lisbon. others joining Stevie Bruce "doon sooth".) Not sure they're as "quality" as you'd think of a Scottish Prem team. not that that's a ringing endorsement.

This Leeds team will still need 6-10 games to work it out before we're getting and idea as to what's happening

The upside of the win though is that potential signing players will be more attracted/less turned off to the team than when we were drawing or losing to no name lower league opposition.

Winning is good. Will cheer the lads on any which way.

Just like its very difficult to read any posts that don’t slag off people that have a different view to you, you mean. Yesterdays performance against DU was ok, not great but not bad, but let's get real, we ll need to play better when the season gets going, hopefully we will and the new players (and the existing ones) take this league by storm, but time will tell whether they or the coach/blametaker do indeed have the ability to compete in the league. You ll probably not believe this, but I really want this club and team to succeed and I will be the first to admit I was wrong to doubt if it is a success, but I ll not bow down to the ‘rose tinted glass brigade’ who will accept anything that's told to them, or printed in the papers. I m cautious because of what we ve been through in the past. I ve been a Leeds supporter for over 40 Years and have bought a season ticket (have you) for the past 15 years but you write that ‘negative’ posters are only happy when we lose, are you for real? What a ridiculous comment.

Agree0 Disagree0

I lost a fiver on leeds promoted last year, hoping they don't let me down again this time I still have last years betting slip haha. Believe it or not I had leeds to be promoted 5-1!

Irish
Nicely put mate but I must admit it does SEEM like 1 or 2 fans on ere start posting ONLY when we lose a game or something bad happens (no names mentioned) ok ED ;)

Maybe they are imposters trying to stir it!
