Nice one Brentford.
Could do with a couple of wins now to open a gap.
Starting to get a bit excited now.
Could we finally be about to get out of this awful league.

Shows you how tough it is for everyone. Brentford rode their luck, but another good result for us. It would be nice to see two teams emerging over Christmas. On paper we’ve possibly got a slightly harder run up than Norwich, but from the 22nd Norwich have to play, Blackburn, Forest, Derby, Brentford, West Brom, Birmingham, Sheffield Utd and Us beginning of Feb. if they are still in the top two by then, they will deserve to be!

Beginning to feel that two will emerge from Villa, West Brom, or Us. Think Middlesborough, just not going to turn enough 1 pointers into 3. Villa game really important. Have to say, hell of a competitive league this year!

Well my personal week of hell ended with an outpouring of emotion I’d bottled up, at the final whistle Saturday. The goading continues this week, seems Birmingham fans have no class too.

Anyway a fellow brother of the faith sensing my pain acquired tickets for the qpr game. so although I’m not having the best of times it just goes to show at Leeds we all stand together ( cue the frogs)

Can’t wait to see the boys play, it’s been too long

mot!

It's been a sea of overwhelming positivity on here over the last few days! What's going on? I'm finding it all rather unsettling!

It's not the same without the "KP should be playing in the Bostick Evostick Premier"

'Radz is ripping us off and putting all the Leeds United money into his dastardly plan to control the world media".

'Orta is deliberately buying rubbish because he's still secretly employed by Middlesborough and he'll get a bonus when we're relegated. "

'The squad is so wafer thin Bielsa is going to play himself as the reserve goalie and Carlos is going to play centre back"

'You can never win anything with kids playing in your first team, they crack under pressure when playing in defence, they panic when presented with golden opportunities and they always concede goals when keeping"

Ahhh that feels better. Normal service is resumed!

what a result, not seen the game yet as was in disneyland over weekend and spent yesterday in winter wonderland with kids watching peter pan on ice (would reccomend both my girls loved every minute) .

recorded game so watching today at some point, but what a result, this is the kind of game i expected us to lose. i don't rate sheff utd that highly and like many think they will drop off and not be one of the play off 4 but still a good side who get results. also great to see kp get man of the match, i always say he can't cope with the better teams and although not the best sheff utd are a better team so good to see him prove me slightly wrong, long may that continue, as for all this F. A cup chat. people rightly rave about our under 23s so play the majority of them, they get a run out we see how good they are its a win win.

true who needs mickey mouse when you have MB!

sadly the game didn't record so only saw the highlights on sky which KP didn't feature at all but then in his position it is easy to not be part of hihglights due to the nature of football

I am genuinely gutted to miss his MOTM performance against a better team as I didn't think he had it in him but if he can put his performances against the smaller teams against the likes of west brom and swans he will be a gem. still long way to go to win me round though. i'm nothing if not syincal!

A couple of questions for you to ponder! Given last years FA Cip disaster, how do we handle the competition this year?

Do we hope for a third round tie against a big premiership team and possible a valiant defeat and the chance to focus our troups on what matters?

Or a lower ranking team that potentially embarrases our first team or gets us accused of not taking it seriously?

I think I would go for the first choice, a team where defeat wouldn't knock the confidence if it came and a chance to test ourselves against the Prem. Bearing in mind who we are playing in Australia, I just wonder if the fates will conspire!

03 Dec 2018 16:15:43
Spaniard To win the competition and gain European entry for 2019. Going far in the FA Cup good for confidence, experience, revenue, reputation building and it always vexes the authorities. So a super win all round. The possible downside of distraction from the Championship a risk I'm willing to take for these wonderful benefits. I dream of a last minute penalty save by BPF against Pogba at the Theatre of Hollow Myths followed by a diving header from Kemar to seal victory in a QF clash in front of 75,000 and watched on television worldwide with endless tweets and tshirts printed in our honour. Am I asking for too much?

Would happily pass over any chance of Cup glory Iif the resulting free time increases our chances for promotion. Remember - The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. Personally I would prefer not to see Wembly this year. Automatic promotion will do nicely, thank you very much, .

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Dec 2018 17:05:05
This season, more than ever, I would not want a cup run to hamper our promotion hopes. I’d pass on a trip to Wembley if we can get promoted!

03 Dec 2018 17:44:04
I’m never had Georgie down as a romantic, definitely not a new one! He had persuaded me though as long as alongside a BPF penalty save, KP scores the winning goal by getting the ball in our box through a wonderful tackle, sprinting like the gazelle he is passed their remaining outfield players before calming lobbing the goalkeeper!

i think any of us would have accepted this league position at the start of the season and been more than happy. Wouldn't it be nice if we were injury free from now on until May? I'm all for a few strong signings but would gladly swap em for a fully fit and uninjured squad of the players we already have.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

03 Dec 2018 15:11:58
Totally agree Alf. Makes murmurings of new Jan signings far less important when you think of the squad we will have to chose from soon. Surely the injury gods must look favorably on us soon.

03 Dec 2018 16:58:40

Just been reading a few rumours and I am getting a tad weary of us being linked with "up and coming" players in late teens / early 20s. Surely our recent use of our younger players shows that we do not need to raid other people's under 23s etc. I have faith in the kids that we already have.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

03 Dec 2018 14:35:48
Tory, I think you are right about the quality that we have in the under 23s but I also think it’s good policy to keep an eye on the youngsters that are available to join the group. I think we’ve shown that you can pick up some good prospects in this way as well.

Wilder quoted as saying leeds reacted Bradley by waving their Rms in the air. He said why shouldn't make contact with them and why shouldn't we hit them hard it's what we do. NO Mr wilder it's what you do when you know the other teams better than yours and last time I looked pulling shirts and two footed tackles and stamping were all red card offences. Don't worry you can have your hoofball
And try cripple a player game when you meet that other bunch of talentless bullies MILLWALL.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Dec 2018 13:29:32
People keep saying we've been "found out" methinks not, but Mr Wilder's side have, IMHO they'll start a slow slide down the table and maybe finish top 10.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Dec 2018 14:39:51
All but the very best find it hard to either stop us scoring or dominate us for long periods of the game without resorting to yellow and possible red cards.

I’ve seen the foot going in so many times in Hernadez, Saiz, Roofe and Klich. There’s one thing knowing how to beat us and it’s another having players with the fitness, skill and discipline for 90 minutes. Yes we’ve had a bit of fortune but so did Sheffield and other teams in not having anyone sent off.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Dec 2018 17:10:41
Think I’ve said this before, but I hold my hands up and admit Wilder has done a great job at the blunts. That said, I agree AL, their slide starts now, and nowt gave me more pleasure than seeing Halme make Sharpe resort to diving!

Happy Birthday KP, looks like Bermondsey still hasn't got back from the Birthday Party. Glad you had fun KAlvin, but you better release him soon, he's got plays to do!

Whilst reflecting on KP being 23, it just struck me that Jack Clarke is almost 5 years younger than KP!

I hope that he is enjoying his coco pops this morning rerunning that lovely chip over the goalkeepers body! Lots more young Clarke and for many years wearing our shirt!
