Matt Smith scores again that is 4 in 5 games and Agard has scored loads as well, Matt was a good plan B (better than what we have now, ie no plan B!). I don't see why we got rid of him, good player to have in your squad gave us options.

I hope we play a different system to oz and play players like Mont/Sloth etc let's see if any better than the last 4/5 games, Redders should by now understand his formation is not working and a lot of the players he has used should expect to be replaced.

I think it would be a good idea to play all the fringe players in the early part of January because if they prove to be not good enough either then at least it will show to Cellino/Salerno where they need to strengthen the team.
What worries me at the moment is that Redfern won't play Montenegro, Sloth, Del Fabro etc because he thinks they won't improve the team.
If this is the case then we need to bring in better players than we have now (on the cheap). I think Salerno has his work cut out!

Monte, sloth and del should at least get a chance - don't get it! Plus I said ages ago stop messing about with Diamond formation and pretty passing around the back -4-4-2 and short sharp passing - get the ball forward and put it in the net! Track back and don't give em room - works for me on FIFA!

Just read my post - when I said I don't get it - I meant why don't they at least get a run out!

I agree with all of the posts about NR needing to give the fringe players a chance to show what they can do. My concern with tomorrows game is not the result anything other than a defeat is a great result & if Redders does give the fringe players a chance & we do get a result tomorrow he needs to hold his nerve & give the team that plays tomorrow a chance in the league the following week. The Italians that have been bought as well as Doukara are nowhere good enough & need to be shown the door quickly.

Sylvestri despite a promising start looks poor & shows no communication with his back four.

Berluscci when he isn't too busy arguing with his team mates doesn't want to take any responsibilty & is always looking to pass players on & not mark anyone.

Bianchi looks lost & seems to be getting worse as the season goes on

Antenucci has scored goals, however I do believe that if Sharp is given the opportunity to play as the main striker he would have probably scored more goals.

Doukara the least said about him as a footballer the better.

The only shining lights this season have been Byram, Cook, Mowatt & Adryan & if we can get some of the fringe players playing we have the nucleolus of a team that will pull us away from the relegation zone.

Only shining lights? You are kidding? You forgot the brightest. Silvestri Bellusci and Antenucci. The problem this season has been poor management not poor players. The players are no better than top 10 but if correctly managed they are no worse than 15th in the table. It is very bad management which is causing the slump.

Agree Speedy. Its a win win for us tomorrow. A draw would be a terrific result. Another game to test the fringe players, probably on TV and more revanue

No need for Cook and Mowatt to play. It's time they had a rest. The two Taylors, Montenegro, Dawson, Phillips, Del Fabro and Sloth should all get a chance.
