Just my opinion but i think it could be a BIG money deal. This is because Keneth would not sell for a small amount because of all the money he has spent on the stadium upgrade. Also i am thinking that a Stand Sponsership may be involved with the takeover, this is because the East Stand no Longer says 'Leeds United AFC' on the seats, it was taken of when the redovelopment of the stand was happening and was never put back on.

On OS now Leeds cleared by the CPS for events during donny game. Maybe the takeover couldn't go through incase it went to legal proceedings. This would have put a holt to the takeover as the new investor would want this to be covered by the existing regime with bates (legal costs and reputation at stake) maybe now we can expect an announcement Wednesday?

It has been confirmed that due dilligence (only carried out during a takeover process), and the Football League's fit and proper person test (only carried out on people holding I think a 30% or more stake in the club?) have been conducted. Like the above, please do your research, always be optimistic as a LUFC fan, yeah we may get let down on occasions but this is our time.

I was talking with a guy in te pub last night and he told me that the takeover will DEFINATLY go through at some point within the next few years. you see the problem is the guy whose taking us over is Walt Disney and the major hold up is the powers that be are waiting for him to de-frost. all the talk about the mystery buyer being silent makes sense now......................haha i am a die hard leeds fan and i know the same as everyone else NOTHING!

I think if the takeover is not announced by Friday then it will not happen, and then personally I think Warnock just as well leave because the squad we have now is still nowhere near good enough for promotion. With teams like Blackburn willing to spend 3million on 1 player (Leon Best) which Leeds will never do its always Free Transfers or small fees. So even with Warnock’s experience we will still struggle, so he may as well not waste his last year in Management and enjoy his family!

reliable info lads. One of the lads that is high up at LUST, does all there IT, takes his children to the same school as my little girl. I tried picking his brains on what is goin on at are club.
He told me that alot people don't really understand what due dilegence entails. he said things like this could take a day,week,month or even a year. The people takeing over, will want to go through with a fine tooth comb and it just depends how far back they want to look at, could be 6 months ago, or it could be they want to look back to the time we filed bankruptcy.
I asked if he new who the owners are and from the look he did know but told me he carn't even tell his wife this information. So he told me to sit back and chill and that once everything is sorted out, all are worrys and troubles will just go away.
Straight up lads, this guy is a proper stand up guy and he could of said anyone to make himself look good but instead spoke with complete honesty.

I don't know about the rest of you, but this is really screwing up my work.
For the past few days all I have done at work is hit refresh on this site and other news sites hoping for a glimmer or a morsel of real information.
My work load is piling up and I just can't focus on it at all.

People talking of letting mccormack go. Personally i like him and was pleased when we signed him from cardiff. He scored 18 league last season which was only bettered by a small few in the division. I hope that a big money take over happens but i am trying to think of any better players that realistically be willing to drop from the premiership to championship in order to replace him, cardiff also get a percentage of the sale from him. I'd hate to let him go on the cheap to another championship side and have him come back and bite us on the arse. Would like to see him snod and Clayton all sign new deals but non of us know what happens in the club with regards to contracts, maybe we didn't offer enough maybe they want too much. Hopefully the future is bright and we can return to where we belong.

Not a rumour but our beloved Chief has taken his first steps into management with South Africa. Maybe we will get him in a couple of years time. Good luck Lucas

I so hope when this takeover finally goes through, that we do not end up another Chelsea or city. Don't get me wrong i want to see some good players at ER and the club back where it belongs, but i want to see more top player going through the academy.

Still nothing on the news pages on the OS. You'd think they would put something on there if there was a press conference about the takeover today even if it was just "Press conference today, watch this space". The silence is really getting deafening now!

This might just be the way these things go you know preseason like and so on. But Leeds have jumped from 14/1 to 8/1 overnight for side to win the league on WH. I don't know like I say if this is anything to go by, just thought I'd give it a mention that I had seen it. Hopefully takeover is tomorrow! C'mon MIGHTY LEEDS!

are people really that concerned about White n Clayton leaving? Personally i dont think White is as good as everybody makes out, only thing he has to his game is pace, hes got no strength, no mentality and no end product and Clayton only played well when someone else was doing the work for him, he just shone while Howson was getting the stick for not scoring, he vanished a hell of a lot in games
id be more concerned over Rosco and Snoddy, Ross wouldve scored a lot more providing Becchio had a good pre-season (for me if you dont have a pre-season due to injury, youre not gonna perform well)
I think everybody is forgetting White is only 20 years old. He will get better. With Drury coming to the club White will learn from him and could become an amazing player.

Clayton and howson very similar players attacking style of play . they both work hard and could pass a decent ball what we was missing was a DCM player to cover while either of these players got stuck in. howson left . clayton was then always looking over his shoulder to see if his cm partner was doing his job but in looking over his shoulder all the time he lost concentration in his own game . either we go 3 cm players or find a new david batty or a scott parker type player to compliment clayton as clayton has got premier quality

Hi all, for all those reading the site every 10mins for updates of takeover, heres couple ov obvious pointers to narrow it down and cut out the bull! Firstly, like all fans im slightly excited by the vast ray ov multi billionnaires linked ranging for yank sports tycoons to saudi kings etc. but it has been confirmed from several sources including lust, look north, sky and yep that the mystery buyer is fro
Barhain or based in bahrain so forget all links to dubai and saudi royal familys.
This is isnt bad news though as the evident silence from the bidders to me shows that the buyer is in fact a serious business man as with all big takeovers in the past eg man city, arsenal chelsea. Neither abramovich, kreonke or mansoor ever commmented in buying club at all till confirmed. the usually bad takeovers eg portsmouth, qpr etc are by people who love the limelight and are commenting everyday on how gona buy club. The fact confidentiality has been ensured from start to me shows the professionalism of the buyer in not wanting price to go up. Im not saying on par with bates chelsea sale to abramovich but has been conducted in the exact manner re no real clues who buying.
when removing the bull rumours the serious sources or point towards wednesday! However i have heard that is also day kenny signing!
