This won't be a post about how poor attendence is, how people complain etc. This is to say what a brilliant run we are on and how great the players were to battle out a 1-0 win against a tough team. Also what's happened to mccormack? He just seems deflated and anyone would have smashed that penalty into the goal. Wonder if his confidence is running low.

there keeper was playing well all game and doesn't help with the ref making mccormack re place the ball on the spot to tweak his nerves.

Agree12 Disagree1

Ross was terrible yesterday, but at least he was getting in a position to potentially score. I don't think Morison had a shot on goal in the 96 minutes of play. I also thought the Millwall keeper was poor yesterday, he flapped at a number of crosses, and his kicking was poor, but this is the standard in the second tier mid table let's be fair.

This may seem obvious so why isn't it obvious to NW. Our goal difference is aprox -4. The likelyhood is the way results are going, if we do get near to sixth at the end of the season goal difference could become a factor. Yet NWs instructions appear to be sit on the odd goal. Other teams go after the jugular once a team capitualates we should get as many goals a possible!! So why don't we? He has decided not to add anyone else like Boyd who could have added so much to the team. why can't he see what we can?

once we get 1-0 up its ok to sit on it and just catch them out on counter attack while they push for equalizer. its all about the points at the moment and another 27 should give us playoffs.

Agree8 Disagree2

I think you'll find that NW's instructions are to make sure of the win above and beyond anything else.

I know that all home games are the biggest but; Biggest Home game this season;

Brighton!

By the time we get to Brighton game it might not matter what we do. We at least need to get 2 points out of Leicester and palace or we could find ourselves with a near impossible challenge. We need 9 wins which I can't see us getting there's Leicester. palace and Watford I expect to be your most difficult games and could easily lose all 3 which means we would of had to win the rest. 8 wins 2 draws would be enough if we get plenty of goals to better our goal difference

Is it realistic to think that Brighton or Leicester will drop enough points to allow the whites to get into the play offs. Interesting to see the goal differences withe the top 6 teams compared to the rest ( inc us). It is going to be a real challenge, but not an impossible one. The whites " Down Under" still have the faith

there is a good chance as we have got all 3 to play but only if we win all 3. brighton is a must win game if we drop points at Leicester and palace.

I have been saying on this site for weeks/months McCormack is not good enough. He has gone through so many goal droughts so he signed it is surprising he still starts so many games. With Morison being the manager preferred striker it is probably a choice between McCormack and Diouff. I would go with Diouff anytime. I can remember the criticism goalkeeper Rachuba got when he dropped the ball that led to Coventry getting a late equalizer a while back but people never speak of the sitter McCormack missed (putting the ball over the bar from a yard out) which would have made it two nil. He has missed a lot more since then - just look at the last few games and the period just after he signed and lots in between. A few purple patches and cup goals are not enough. That's why he dropped down the pecking order at Cardiff. They wanted promotion and he wasn't going to help that cause. It's the same at Leeds.

Believable13 Unbelievable16

Have to say, reluctantly, I agree with this. When he's scoring, he's a star, but as a striker he has to score on a regular basis and he's not doing. Think dropping him in favour of Diouf is the way to go but suspect Varney might be rested after his injury for Tuesdays match and we'll see Mac, Morison and Diouf start. Might not be a bad line-up.

Agree7 Disagree2

I share the same opinion for as much as I like McCormack, it has not escaped my attention he is missing chances which are sitters. These have been the difference in where we find our selves in the league now, not saying he is the only one but he's one of main strikers for us. I would have preferred Dom Poleon not have gone out on loan so he would be another option as a striker.

But yes, we need someone to turn those scoring opportunies into goals, forgive me for stating the obvious!

hes playing out of position and putting in a good shift most games. he is easily good enough but has had a few injuries this season. diouf or mccormack easy choice in front of goal is mccormack as diouf as missed some right sitters this season early on. every striker misses chances but not every striker puts in a good shift.

Agree2 Disagree1

Yeah but he is a brilliant assister

Agree1 Disagree1

You say drop him for Diouf but your argument is he doesn't score enough when has Diouf ever in his time in english football got 19 goals in a season in the league like Mccormack did last year? now you explain to me why you think Diouf will get more goals than mccormack? baffled.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccormack is also brilliant at setting goals up but no he doesn't score enough for you lot its laughable.

If you look at our fixtures after leicester and palace are all easily winnable accept the last two which are brighton and watford and I think could be the answer to our play offs. ANT MOT

dundee white here spot on mate bring the price down and they will come. what the big men at the top don"t seem to grasp is leeds fans come from all over the cost in travel alone hits the pockets of most then your hit with a massive ticket price i know it"s bad for those who paid 4 season tickets but the club could cut the price of those next season to reinburse this years season ticket holders its worth a shot fill the ground put the fear of god in the other team m. o t. dundee whites

Agree2 Disagree0

I am a season ticket holder and i'd like to say yes it means we might have paid over the odds, but rather that than have a half full ER every week and shocking atmosphere, they can keep my money if they get the crowds back in because that's why I pay to go to ER and love it so much

I think the only serious options are Adkins and Poyet. I would question Poyet's commitment after he left us for Spurs but he would be a good option. I wouldn't mind Radebe or Naylor personally but I don't feel they will be considered due to the urgency for a return on GFH investment.

I think Stuart mccall may be worth a go. Leeds fan, doing well in jockland at moment. If he can motivate players to play like he did we could get a team with fire in their bellies and pride in the shirt. Get Sir Eddie Gray as number 2

Agree0 Disagree3

Solskjaer! I know he is unproven in english football, but his skills and seriousity makes all he touches gold! He might even prefer a club like Leeds to a premiership club, with better chance to strike from below and gain quick success? Get Ole, and we'll have our long term solution. until he has proved enough to be hijacked by scum!

Agree2 Disagree6

Adkins or Di Canio. Di Canio would bring his whole backroom too so maybe the non-existent scouts at our club will be forced to pack up and leave
