The season needs to be finished, just don't start another season until it is. With all the lies and fear porn coming from the media you would think people would start to realise that it's not not even as bad as the flu. The whole thing is a farce, the only winners will be the banks and big corporations, again. Stopping half the world for a 0.3% death rate, the flu is 0.9. If the season is voided then I am honestly done with football, I will keep an eye on Leeds but what's the point of paying money when the season can be cancelled at anytime. It needs to be finished.

Agreed Vinny with everything you have said.

Also, the total lack of integrity of closed shop decisions by the football league of Holland again highlights for me that UEFA is simply NOT fit for purpose as a reliable, responsible European football organisation that should be preserving and safeguarding the integrity of football.

Instead UEFA is clearly only interested in it's cashcow UEFA Champions league competitions.

European's football integrity is in total meltdown and possibly it's finances and even it's existence as we currently know it will be in total meltdown too.

{Ed001's Note - he may be for real but he is believing lies about the death rate. Amazing how stupid some conspiracy theorists can be. They refuse to believe anything the government tells them until it suits their latest theory. The death rate for Covid-19 is actually much higher than the figures released. For instance in the UK there are a huge number of deaths in nursing homes caused by it, but none are being attributed to corona in the official figures. However that suits the latest conspiracy theory that coronavirus is not that bad really, so the conspiracy theorists accept the figures are correct. It is sad. If they actually took the time to use their brains they would realise that it is worse than flu, regardless of the death rate, it is the rate of infection that is the problem anyway. But that would involve them understanding basic maths and logistics. If you allow a virus that sweeps through the population at the rate this one does to go unchecked, then you end up with more people ill than health services can cope with. Other people then die because they can't be looked after, so increasing the death rate for other diseases, while conspiracy theorists will still be shouting "but covid-19 only has an 0.3 death rate so it is not that bad".}

They may change there tune Ed if they lose a loved one, my mums a nurse and tells us it’s heartbreaking seeing the sights on some wards.

Lockdown is being relaxed / will be relaxed
but until a virus is found it would not surprise me that there is no football until 2021 at the earliest. neutral venues for all 92 clubs in season 2020/ 2021 to avoid crowds outside stadiums . as if

The main crux of my posts have been how the season should be concluded fairly.

Couldn’t believe what I was reading earlier this morning and just logged back on to reply to original post. Ed1 has saved me the bother and most likely said it better than I ever could.
On another note I watched Rocky and Wrighty on YouTube last night and thoroughly recommend to all football fans.

The concern is real, but the simple fact is, that there are no facts! The statistics are to say the least, dubious, and offer support for neither extreme of argument! Everything will quite possibly never be clear, as Ed001 says, the knock on effect on the efficiency of the health services on those with pre existing ailments can’t truly be measured. We may never know the Real extent of the damage this virus Has caused, as there are so many variables at play.
Whatever happens, all deaths are tragic right now.

As well as the people not attending A&E because they fear they might catch it in the hospital, also thousands of people having cancer treatments postponed will all add to the tally later down the line.

as things stand it's going to be restart of this season march 2021 . because this virus spread like wild fire and will be around for some time . so time out football on back foot. lives come first.
