Rodrigo now has contracted the virus himself, says he feels well hopefully, speedy recovery for him and his family.

Wishing him a safe and speedy, full recovery.

04 Nov 2020 09:57:02
It seems the virus leaves people weak and debilitated for months after they have recovered. let's hope Rod has the mildest of mild forms of this disease. Get well soon you were sorely missed.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 13:38:52
depends on the version yo get Leo. I know plenty of people who have had it and didn't even notice a symptom so let's hope Rodders is one of those and his family are all good too.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 19:31:54
Yeah the virus is very hit and miss I had it and was fine after a week. My wife’s grandparents but got it and was fine to then die to both being old yet my mate who is super fit was on a Vent and very ill so no telling sadly.

Radz looking at MB retirement? Who going to fill this big gap if they have some in mind they should get him in now to work with MB,
Pochettion looks possible replacement as he's worked with him before?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 17:26:44
Report I saw states Radz hopes Bielsa will be here for several/ many more years .

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 08:25:50
Bazooka think results within MB himself may be a factor and he is 60 next year that’s why he only wanted a year contract. Let home he’s with us a lot longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 08:46:57
Think Pocchetino is sitting tight waiting for Man Utd?

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 11:51:45
Bermo wants the job supposedly.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 13:40:20
Yeah but if Poch had the choice of Man Utd vs us clearly he would choose Leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 17:57:45
Think Radz is unsure if MB will be with us next season by the way he was speaking say MB is 65 and only wants 1 year at a time, think it will be a good Idea to sign Poch now and have a second team coach working MB way. Man U are just a small club now can’t see why anyone would go there, only Gun just keeping his head above water,

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is because Bielsa's family are home in Argentina and the travel restrictions are making it difficult to see them. At least that's what he said to Keys and Gray, I am assuming this is from that interview.}

04 Nov 2020 19:34:55
Mate I’ll take the job

Klich dm with shacks ahead and picking cooper. i'd of given Mondays selection a run for its money!

First job sell kp and buy a dm who defending is main quality not passing like Klich or Phillips

Second job buying someone anyone who can head a ball so we score a corner. Bermo will get Leeds to champs league no probs with warnock on my coaching staff and hockaday as assistant.

Not sure how we could afford Bielsa and Poch!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 13:49:36
Not sure any of us, given the team we were able to put out lost to a very, very good Leicester side. I was hopeful Bub would have left the team unchanged after Villa as we had more pace in critical areas.

Certainly was a game where we missed KP shielding our back four, and as many have said already fine margins. Each time we have been undone by world class strikers Salah, Jimenez and Vardy probably £50mill strikers all of them.

But we are where we are and had Pablos strike gone in instead of hitting woodwork who knows.

We go again, got to take the dips to better enjoy the ups when undoubtedly they’ll come.

Looking forward to a sustained run of games with Rodrigo Rafhina and Lorente all being available.

Bub and team always learn from setbacks and always there is a response, not sure any of us would be surprised if we beat Palace next up.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 15:13:07
We definitely missed Kal! For all that Klich is becoming a world class player, he can’t play that role. Shacks needs to do some gym work, and all the players need longer studs! The number of times we’ve had players slip and fall is ridiculous. Look after yer boots boys!

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 08:50:42
We are in the Prem and should enjoy it but with that comes the fact that we will probably lose more games, however anybody that does beat us will know they have been in a game at the end. We will roll over for no one and fight for 90+ mins.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 13:43:23
Its those stupid plastic studs (more like ridges) that these modern boots have these days. They need some proper studs on them.

03 Nov 2020 13:11:42
I have to say I do not agree with Bielsa's opinion that he set the team was not set up properly and that it was that we did not get the ball back and therefore we weren't in a position to'give 'it away'. I agree we did not win enough 50/ 50 or even 60/ 40 balls but we did get the ball regularly often from their sloppy play. Unfortunately when the ball did come our way we tended to give it away - straight by poor control and/ or after two or three passes. I have re watched the game and lost count of the times passes were under hit, over hit or just mis directed -sometimes straight out of play. On the day, for whatever reason, we were sloppy -poor passes and centres; mis judged headers and slip shod in front of goal. I said against Aston Villa it was a game of fine margins. This one could have been different if Bamford had scored within two minutes and Koch hadn't under hit his pass to the keeper. From that point we struggled until the second half even when we were on top for a while we couldn't turn it in to anything major. Bringing off Hernandez was a bit odd. Yes he wasn't great in the first half but was starting to pull the strings again in the second. We lost something when he came off. I would play Hernandez without boots and weights round his ankles before I would replace him Roberts. Roberts just isn't good enough (yet) for the Premiership. Hope we do better next game with Rodrigo and maybe Llorente and Rabhinia. Hernandez is now best used as a substitute in the second half when teams aren't as fresh.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 13:48:45
just about defined, sloppy. The only thing I would add is poor decision making.
Let's just see if there is anything of a shake-up but I am going for his loyalty overuling everything. Palace will be an interesting game.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 15:11:22
The main issue was the players looked very nervous and lacking in confidence probably from not having the quality and reassurance of the.4 injured and self isolating players.

These nerves transmitted into their play . and taking Pablo off was the final game killer

It will be the same group of players against Palace with Raphina, Rodrigo, KP. and Llorente still missing so they need to be mentally strong

Must grind out a win or draw . and eradicate the mistakes/ conceding goals

#points accumulation the bottom line.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 08:52:27
Three words, "eradicate the mistakes" Baz.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2020 13:44:11
Sometimes Bielsa takes responsibility so as not to put blame on his team. Admirable quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 11:04:11
First time this season it felt like the team lacked confidence.

Probably a big factor was the likes of Rodrigo and Raphina suddenly unavailable to play

to add to other missing key players KP and our Spanish international defender Llorente

who I am sure is/ will be our best defender ( having watched him deal comfortably with Christiano Ronaldo in the Spain Portugal game)

We need these 4 players playing for Leeds not on the treatment table or in self isolation : they were greatly missed.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 12:48:49
Agree baz.
Def lacking confidence. As I was.
Strangely enough one of the first players I looked for was Rodrigo. Almost a modern day Vinnie to me. Talent and passion.
It will be interesting to see how
Goalie
Ayling Koch loriente Dallas
Costa Klich kp harrison
Rod and bam play.

04 Nov 2020 13:45:01

03 Nov 2020 10:30:15
We just never got going, too sloppy in thought and deed. Whilst just about everybody rated a 5 at most some were a little more, off their game. I think we saw a return to the Bamford we all know and? . The man frustrates so much as we all know he has it in him, just rarely shows his talent and Koch, whilst no Ben White he has the potential, but certainly had a blip of a game yesterday. Let's hope it was a blip and with games comes experience. Remember that Leicester had their own injury woes especially at the back so, far from berating Leeds I feel we should have given them more of a game. The proof of "just an off day" must now come at Palace. No square pegs, no sloppy play. Let's be on it from the kick off.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Koch is no Ben White? Abit harsh IMO, German international, only 7 games under Bielsa, White played in championship and has done nothing amazing yet in premiership, harsh statement.

Leicester are a very good side and Rogers has them playing to their strengths.
No shame in result, a few mistakes and they were clinical, we much better second half and if Pablo's hit had gone in?
Needed bamford to score and had 2 good chances in first half, difference is vardy is deadly in box.
Move on to palace, still believe we win lots of matches and do well in premiership.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Bam works is socks of for the team honestly most close his eyes with good chances like that but he gets in good positions move on MOT no shame getting beat by liecester.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 08:18:26
I agree with no shame re defeat.
But as the commentator said. If Bamford had scored the first goal then Leicester wouldn’t have scored theirs and then we would have been in front and they would have moved forward more giving us bit more space.
The stats show. We score first we generally win.
So although every striker misses chances I’d rather he just got 2 last week and buried that one today. Even after 2 min play the miss made the diff.
I will forgive him if he nets 2 in the first five minutes of the palace game.

😂😂😂😂😂 are for the bamford knockers, scores a hatrick last week and he's amazing, dosent score and we need to replace him, unbelievable, yes he had chances but if kane missed 3 chances would spurs fans be criticising him, like I said last nite, 3 defeats, liverpool TOP, Leicester 2nd, Wolves 6th
Calm down.

Let’s face it it was a very bad day at the office for just about every player . Can’t help thinking that the ten day gap between games left them a bit rusty rather than fresh and sharp . Way too many individual errors including Bam’s ridiculous miss in the first two minutes, midfield and wingers needlessly losing the ball and two centre backs basically all over the shop . We played right into Leicester’s counter attacking hands . To be fair Bielsa for once didn’t help the cause . In hindsight should have gone with Struijk at 4 and taking Pablo off was a game changer in the wrong direction . Very poor substitution. Hoping for better against Woy’s boys who will try to do the same .

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 04:02:00
It was an off night. To many sloppy passes and errors. Apart from the error Koch played well. And costa. And Kl I have.
Off day for hern bam harrison prov and roberts.
However. We should have realised they were going to play that way with lightning quick frontmen.
Don't think it would hurt to slightly adjust our tactics sometimes. Sure, 5 - 7 Players pushing forward looks good but not when ball in our net 10 seconds later. They were a threat all night. Hopefully we can get something from palace. It's going to be a topsy Turvy season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed0666's Note - you need a striker to replace Bamford mate he is the epitome of profligate.

03 Nov 2020 05:45:35
Couldn’t have said it better myself Ed. You actually took the words out my mouth. 👍
I was about to say Bamford is the epitome of profligate.

{Ed0666's Note - Im sure Bielsa will be thinking the same thing as us Ausman and will have a replacement in Jan or in the summer.

03 Nov 2020 06:45:06

03 Nov 2020 03:26:43
The BIG question for me is what will Bielsa do when Llorente is fit?

For me Koch and Llorente MUST be our central defensive partnership.

When Cooper plays Leeds concede a lot of goals in the EPL : eleven goals against Liverpool Fulham and Leicester for instance : that is deeply disappointing and concerning

Posted before the game that Bielsa must keep the same back 4 that played Villa :
Dallas Koch Ayling Alioski

It was a mistake not to do so.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 05:39:02
Bazooka Cooper did gift them a goal mate, don’t think Koch is any better then him.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 06:46:45
Koch is still young and way better on the ball, passer and tackler than cooper.
I like cooper as a guy and champ defender but Koch is a way better player. Koch is as good as white I reckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 08:03:22
Koch made a mistake that happens but difference is Koch can defend. He is quick can tackle and dealt with vardy well. Koch is good player who makes a few mistakes

Cooper in the other hand is just constantly poor. Has he ever won a header? I don’t think I have seen him win one. He loves a mistake and can not defend

Look at our second goal, what was cooper doing, what was he’s position was he near the cross who was he marking. It was just the actions of a poor defender

Last night beslia made mistakes stuijk over cooper and I know belisa mind set with dm role it was explained to me by a coach at Leeds and the dm being first line of attack makes sense so playing Klich there was a great call. however a dm needs to defend so belisa phlophy made him make a mistake shacks should of been dm he was great there with Klich playing normal role.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 09:08:37
That’s a back pass and a pen all down to Koch, White far, far better.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 10:17:28
Disagree whiteman. White could show boat and make errors too.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Nov 2020 23:13:35
Very poor performance all round. I hoped Bamford had turned a corner but normal service was resumed. Instead of been one goal up we were one goal down. He was poor in front of goal yet again. We could have been level with a decent striker even though we weren't playing well. Shows how shaky Leicester were at the back. Koch made another howler but being not a fan of Cooper I would argue it was having to play next to him that was unsettling. Most players gave the ball away too easily and we just looked awful - even when we were supposedly on top we weren't that great. Giving us a corner is no problem to the opposition - just give them a goal kick we are more likely to do more with it. Hernandez was anonymous and looks like his age has caught up with him with every game. Hope it was a glich but it was very depressing. on the bright side Costa did ok. We had injuries and self isolation issues but Leicester had more. They didn't have too much to do to beat us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2020 03:19:46
Struick should've played. Failure to strategically deal with Jamie and Harvey.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2020 03:35:23
Agree that Pablo. at 36 is getting on but to be fair he was much better in the second half very close to scoring a crucial equaliser.

Without Rodrigo and Raphina to replace him, taking off Pablo was a big mistake as Leeds lost all creative momentum and the game was lost when he came off. No wonder Pablo was annoyed.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Nov 2020 23:13:33
