There's only one neil warnock all the true leeds fans are right behind you fellar? Mot 4 life

Believable13 Unbelievable1

Well I'm not. One tacti, one pony merchant. Hoof it down the middle. He may have players signed by SG, but at least they managed to play football, down the wings and on the ground, albeit for the last 15 mins of a match. Now=same players, turgid cr*p but NW tactics and I don't see football on the ground AT ALL!

Have heard a disturbing rumour that Neil has looked at the option of cashing in on Snodgrass to get more money to buy the players he wants in the summer.

Snodgrass has made no secret of wanting to play in the premiership and Neil may give him his wish early so he has more money to play with.

I'm hoping that this is just as I said, a rumour and that he signs a new contract soon.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Under grayson i wouldnt have wanted Snoddy to leave because he would have replaced him with crap. But with warnock i dont mind Snoddy going since 1-2 quality players will be signed with the money.

Agree6 Disagree0

I agree, as much as i love snodgrass sometimes its for the greater good. In an extreme way take Newcastle sold their prize asset in Carroll for 35 million and brought in Players like, Demba Ba, Tiote, Cabeye, Cisse with the money. If we get 3-5 million for snoddy it could be put to good use to make the squad more solid. MOT

Agree9 Disagree0

Just like the money from Gradel and Howson has been used to strengthen the team?

Agree1 Disagree1

Would you have trusted grayson with the money from gradel/howson ect?

Hopefully the money is still there and NW gets to spend it next season

Players I personally would like to see brought in,
Matt Mills
Zak Whitbread
Paddy Kenny( or Paul Robinson if Blackburn relegated)
Alan Smith (*note personally)
Jermaine Beckford or Max Gradel.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Zamora? anyone?

Agree3 Disagree5

For a start, you can stick Alan Smith where the sun doesn't shine - but the rest of those players would be brilliant.

Michael Owen is on free in the summer want about him he could be a good signing {Ed013's Note - Never afford his wage}

Believable6 Unbelievable2

He'll want to go somewhere where he can pull a large wage and never play. He'll probably move to Qatar!

Brian Easton?

Ian Harte's contract is up in the summer

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Great shout but he's just commented how much he wants to het back in the premiership considering his age I dont think he'll want to go down a league if Reading get promoted

Agree1 Disagree2

So what? nice bloke but not one for the future.

Agree1 Disagree1

Offers a free kick and penalty ability that we dont have

Agree2 Disagree2

Better than Smith,

Agree4 Disagree1

Harte scores penalties and freekicks but due to his total lack of defensive quality/speed he costs far more in causing goals conceded. Was the weak link in an otherwise quality team under O'Leary. Please, please, please don't go there!!!

look at all the players, having a great time down at flamingo land, the way theyve been playing, i dont want see them having a great day out, i want see them on the training ground, working hard for there team and wanting to play for the shirt, and earning there money, id be docking the wages not playing happy familys.....

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Maybe we can part exchange some of them for a couple of those hippos

Agree11 Disagree0

Theyre Rhinos not Hippos!

Seeing Browns interview surprised me. I though better of him than to blame the crowd for the players failings on the pitch. What about all the times we've been behind and the crowd still sing. The only time it's been completely flat was on Saturday because they showed no heart. If you get beat and show heart the Leeds crowd will make more noise than most........so Brownie wtf are you talking about

What is all this about Shaun Derry. Isn't he the player we got rid of because he wasn't good enough. Why all of a sudden is he now a good enough player. Are we settling for second best again. MOT

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Shaun Derry left because we were in league 1 and he wanted to go back to Palace - I don't think him and Wise were good friends either

Agree2 Disagree1

Obviously they werent the f**king t**t was giving teams are teamsheet and tactics dont want any qpr cast offs as they will simply have ta be relaced if we get promoted next season

Agree0 Disagree5

Shaun Derry left because he leaked team news to one of our opponents and Wise didn't want backstabbers in the team

Agree2 Disagree2

Derry was a good player until wise accused him of spilling the beans about the leeds team selection to his pals at palace and then dumped him in the reserves to rot, i wouldnt mind but gus was running the show anyway, the stupid frog-eyed chelsea hobbit!

Agree5 Disagree0

And that's why he's playing in the premiership ??

Agree5 Disagree0

Derry didn't give anything away that is clear. would you believe Wise over Derry really? For starters the lad loves leeds and has got a tattoo of the badge. Would be a great signing and a great captain. MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

Derry would tell everybody his contract aswell

I'd like to see Beckford back now Leicester want rid. He's a very good player and we've missed the pace - I think him and Becchio would work just aswell as they did in league 1 if given a good pre season

Believable5 Unbelievable1

For his goals i got impatient with his attitude and work rate, we dont need players like that, beckford was always in it for himself

Agree1 Disagree3

We would not need him with Ross McCormack and Davide Somma

Agree1 Disagree4

A lot of people seem to be pinning an awful lot on Somma. He has been out for a long time and who knows if he will be the player he was, who lets face it was not the greatest anyway.

Agree5 Disagree1

Neither of them have that pace factor - especially if Warnock wants to play long ball.
Beckford would give us that threatening pace back and he is also more prolific. Plus it pays to have a couple of regular goal scorers as if McCormack was to get injured where would the goals come from (other than Snodgrass)?

Agree3 Disagree0

McCormack will be on his way IMO ,He has never once stated he wants to extend his contract neither as snoddy ,Aidy has Odea has.I Think snoddy will deffo play in prem next season.McCormack would be lucky to get a move to prem dose not work hard enough.hope I'm wrong on snoddy !

Agree1 Disagree3

Beckfords not the answer he wanted to leave. to arrogant i say let him rot. sulks if he dont get his own way imo better off without him

Agree0 Disagree3

If you look at the past everyone that has stated they want to "renew terms" leaves! Kilkenny, Johnson, Beckford, Howson... probably White will as well.
Snodgrass remember turned down Barcelona and Celtic in favour of 1st team football. He has always striked me as the sort of person that isn't money motivated (a rarity these days). Maybe under Grayson he would have left, but Warnock should restore his confidence of prem football. Leave off him, i'm sure he'll make the right decision.
Beckford maybe arrogant, but when you have talent like he does, do you turn it away? Does Mancini not persevere with Balotelli? He has a far larger ego, but his talent is what counts, which is why Mancini keeps his faith in him.

Agree4 Disagree0

If any body can tame beckford warnock can and get the best out of him

Agree4 Disagree0

We are not going to sign Beckford end of story. He will cost to much. It is more likely that I will get a contract since I am a free agent.

Agree1 Disagree3

Although I don't think Beckford will return, what I can't understand is people putting workrate above ability. Surely we would be better off with a striker who can score goals rather than one who can run around for 90 minutes but be clueless for all of those 90!

Has anyone watched the interview posted on the rumours site of NW at Flamingo land. Was it just me or did he seem quite down and shocked about the current situation. It looks like he really thinks the current squad is garbage and said phrases like ' we have 3 home games left, there could be another 3-7 scoreline!' Just shows what he really thinks of the players at the minute. He is right of course, which other top half teams have been battered like that at home 3 times this season!? It really shouldn't happen, and he knows that. Play off's are an utter fantasy...he just doesn't want to be embarrassed again this season! He doesn't know what he's going to get from this bunch, and I don't blame him for being worried. He has such a shocking squad atm, and remembering 3 quality players left straight away in Townsend, delph and smith.
He even admitted it would be a mega challenge to build a squad capable of going up next season.

U can tell he just wants this season to finish and bring in a whole new bunch of capable, consistent performers. I and yes I do hope the players read this, as most of you are not wanted and not good enough, I for certain as a fan have had enough of paying to see the rubbish that gets played at Elland road on a consistent basis.

We deserve better

Believable11 Unbelievable0

I think Warnock may have lost some of the players, just like Grayson did, but hopefully it's the ones we don't need or want?

Although Lonergan has been a half decent keeper, he has let too many goals in to be our regular goalie.

I hope we can keep Bechio, Snodgrass, Clayton, and Lees, possibly White if he's going to pull his finger out.

After that I think it's only Somma that needs the chance to prove himself, when fully fit.

Warnock will decide if Robinson and Webber are living up to his expectations or not.

The rest haven't done enough when the going got tough......

Agree3 Disagree3

NW is an intelligent and experienced guy. He is saying how it is at the moment, but he is also lowering expectations at the same time. What would be the point of doing a SG and saying how nice the flowers smell and how it will be all good in the end. NW to clever for all that and i think the message is getting through to the fans too, were not all that. Good on ya NW

Agree4 Disagree0

So Bates is going to bank roll a new squad is he ?dont make me laugh, most of the garbage are still under contract and wont be going any were. Its a real big mess and will take someone with millions to sort it,not An old man with a few thousand ,i think you forget how much we spent last summer ,was it 300,000?whats going to change and why?

Agree3 Disagree0

I though the interview was superb as usual, he will get us there, how happy would u look it was minus 5 with a rhinos arse shuved in his face!! we couldnt ask for anyone better need to get behind him and up we go mot

Agree4 Disagree0

Whats warnock about. we win at middlesborough draw with w. ham and we can make the play offs, we lose to notts f and watford and he says we are miles away. all he's doing is covering his arse to cover his own shortcomings. get a grip bates and get a real MANAGER, not another PUPPET!

Agree2 Disagree5

Warnock being referred to as a "puppet" has to arguably be the most moronic comment i have ever heard. Period.

Agree3 Disagree1

Why Paddy Kenny- Certainly no better than lonegran and there are other areas in more urgent need of strengthening. As for losing the players- if telling the truth gets rid of the alsorans then good; lets have more hometruths from Warnock and see who is left!

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Apr 2012 12:32:31
The new player coming in will be Paddy Kenny and expext the others the follow will be defenders and a holding midfielder. Neil Warnock knows he has to build from the back so we have a solid base to start with which will give us a better chance of winning games. After his latest interview from the theme park he gave a massive hint that lots will be leaving and I'd expect that this summer will be the busiest ever at Elland Road.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Wouldn't surprise me if it was Bothroyd, surplus to requirements at QPR if they stay up this year.

give rogers a run out now play-offs are beyond us!

Beckford has had a bust up with Pearson, his future is uncertain. Could come back to Leeds?

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Where do people here this sort of information what is your source? Also now Beckford has had a taste of higher wages why would he come back to Leeds. It's the same as Smith players don't go back unless contract is right

Agree2 Disagree1

Where do peopel here this information? check the news

Agree3 Disagree0

Why do we want Beckford back anyway, we are trying to build a new team that will play together and fight for promotion, not hang around and wait for balls to hit them on the head or foot?

He did a good job for us when we needed him too, but he's clearly shown where his loyalty lies - money!

Agree2 Disagree0

I think its a bit unfair to have a go at Beckford, remember he stayed til may when he could have gone in jan, scored that goal against the scum & the goal that got us promoted, i think some forget that Beckfords not a spring chicken his career took off very very late and name me a footballer who doesnt make decisions based on money, its the most money orientated profession second only to banking. I would have him back in a flash but its not going to happen as he wont fit the wage structure {Ed020's Note - fair comment, he's not long left in terms of a footballers life, and he did what was in his best interest, fair play to him, i'd welcome him back, but not for a inflated wage like he's tasted.}

Agree4 Disagree1

Beckford conversion rate is horrible. Over the years all our strikers have been in and around the top scorer mark which shows that its a team that is always going to get players goals near enough no matter who it is. We need someone who is prolific even in poor teams, a marksmen i.e. Billy Sharp
