Slight commiserations to Brentford

As over the course of the season Brentford ever so slightly deserved it more than Fulham

but hey that is tbe nature of the freaky unfair playoff lottery system

To be fair, I think his agent approached Brentford after Leeds told him he had to go. Not bad when you can get your second choice I suppose!

Have any players lost out in the championship playoffs in three successive years for three different clubs- that could be something to aim for!

Nice to see another team folding with the pressure! Really the second automatic place was theirs for the taking but bottled it! Played well when catching up and the pressure off but in the key games they didn’t deliver. Going to hurt and will be interesting to see how they respond with such a short break before the restart and possibly with a few players less although they didn’t promote themselves well last night!

Sorry no commiserations for ‘mind the gap Franke’ from me, I’m not doubting Brentford play good football and they have some genuinely exciting players but getting over the line is a whole different game, 99% mental for Fulham to boss us for a half and then lose three nil, rightfully lose Mitrovich for his assault on BW fair play to Fulham I say.

Pontus has to lie in his bed now, plus I covet many more Brentford players than Fulham ones, capped of a brilliant season now if I can only locate big Martyn out here in Tenerife it’ll be perfect.

Ignorance is bliss, he's coming to a club who are playing in the last 16 of the europa this week, in fairness, the scottish league isn't the greatest, but both Rangers and Celtic are far bigger clubs than Leeds. Anyway good luck in the premiership, always had a soft spot for Leeds, hopefully get back to the team you should be.

I agree, Rangers still need to catch celtic, but its closer than ever, we suffered a financial issue the same as leeds, didn't take us 16 years to get back to where we belong though! If Rangers and celtic played in England and gained from the finances that go through the EPL we would be top 6 every year, you have no chance of even staying up without a great deal of investment. I think you are on another planet to think that Leeds, after playing in the championship for so long are even on par with any of the old firm. the delusion is on your side viduka. at least Roofe will get a chance to play in Europe. pretty sure he was one of, if not, the best player in your team, 2 seasons ago?

With you on that one Bazooka Joe. He made his name at Bristol but it was generally for his aerial threat more than anything. I think I remember his centre back partner there went for a decent amount of cash around the same time, and it was him who the supporters missed more.

Vigil V D, shows that a good big un is always better than a good little un but it's the GOOD word that makes him the talent. Flint is just big and does his job. Hopefully Orta can find us one of those good big uns but in the meantime we seem to have some reasonable sized ones on our books in Casey, Cresswell and Struick.

Liam was also poor before bubs came along and has improved his game a bit, although I hope Liam ain't going to be main CB next month as we have to leave sentiment aside now,

In two of our successful eras we had a tough red headed Scotsman in midfield. Afraid of no body and popped up with crucial goals. Times have changed so they don't need to smoke ciggys at half time, but that has, over the years, been a key piece in the complex Leeds story. Any ideas anyone. assuming $ no object? Not sure if Prince Harry can claim Scots citizenship but it's a big NO from me anyhoo!
