Whos thinking 3 wins in a row and we could be contending for automatic promotion? do you think its possible? LIAM MOT!

Believable8 Unbelievable38

You are kidding aren't you. . Three wins on the trot won't even get us in the top six. We need to win all but four of our remaining games to have a chance of the playoffs going by the last five years statistics. Three in a row will keep us in touch I believe. 4 or 5 in a row will put us there though.

Keep the faith.

we could realistically see ourselves joint on points with middlesbrough next tuesday after playing them and with having a game in hand to a few of the teams above us if we do get 3 wins in a row we could be sat in 6th.

hilarious that some people can moan because habib didn't score a 40 yard peach in his 15 minutes in a completley diffrent level to what he has been playing, trained like twice before that game?

Believable38 Unbelievable5

Waste of space. and has two left webbed feet. Hope we send him back to Belgium ASAP. Should not be in the same room as a LUFC shirt.

Agree7 Disagree29

Its not that he didn't score a 40 yard screamer mate the fact is he could not get near the game and looked more like big enock all over again! Hope ime wrong. Mot.

HABIB HABIBOU did not have the best of starts for us but he did impress me when he tracked back and byram got the challange ( not shown in highlight so only 19 though seen it ) in so can't knock his effort GIVE HIM 5 GAMES NOT 15 MIN OF LONGBALL.
if between now and may he gets 8-10 goals should we sighn him up or do we get rid because of 15 poor mins

For me it is Warnock who is the problem. We have players capable if given time on the pitch (Hall, Tonge, Green, Somma) and also if he played players in their rightful postion. I mean how long did it take him to move Peltier into the centre and now he is playing Barkley on the wing instead of Green. So my point is that had he played Peltier from the start in the centre and others in their rightful position and also use the right combination of midfielders then we would be much higher up the table. That's what a manager gets paid for so he isn't doing his job properly. He also doesn't make substitutions correctly or at the key moments when we need a change. To me he is just happy to be picking up his paycheck ready for retirement. Warnock out.

Believable32 Unbelievable6

This players out of position thing is starting to do my head in, you want your best 11 players on the pitch, these are professional footballers we are talking about a full back is a full back, they both have exactly the same job! If you are a midfielder with skill, pace and a good delivery why shouldn't you be capable of playing on the wing! anybody on the pitch can pass a ball, make a tackle and score a goal! So if the manager feels they can do a job so be it, its up to the players to be professional and get on a do a job! Barkley was "out of position" playing on the wing but if he had of scored his chances we would of won the game and you wouldn't of even made that comment.

Agree3 Disagree21

There is an element of negativity among posters on here!. Yes when we lose or do not play attractive passing game, sell our best players, and generally take the p*** out of us with premiership ticket pricing.

It's clear to me GFH are trying to slowly turn things around and put their own stamp on how the club connects with its fan base and is generally run.

IMO I feel they are attempting to fill the stadium with sensible pricing, is this not a sign they are taking on board comments about ticket pricing. I think next season it will be cheaper to watch football at ER

GFH have cleared out players who do not figure in plans by terminating contracts or shipping deadwood out on loans (youth element excluded).

No big name marquee signings but what can we expect. Look at Cardiff or Liecester City as examples, they have money but its taken them time to build and put together their squads. There are always teams who are surprises and this season it is Watford.

As far as I am concerned the jury on GFH is out until the August transfer Window shuts 2013. This season we may make the playoffs but I'm not holding my breath. This is a period of consolidation and transition for LUFC, and as fans and supporters we can help by being a little more patient.

Talk of GFH backers having no money and bates running the club are complete TOSH by negative minded influences who like to stir up emotions because things are happening quick enough for them. Warnock will hopefully be gone at end of season and we can start fresh.

Ps I am not smurf face or GFH insider

there is a big difference to the position you play a player unless they are able to confidently use both feet. most British players are 1 footed especially defenders

Agree6 Disagree0

The negativity is down to bad tactics and managment. GFH are like someone who buys a rolls royce but can't afford the bloody petrol. No iceing on the cake and not even any cake, we play disjointed football and that's down to the manager with his 1980s style of football its like doing the timewarp. Every no and again brown has a good game but the point is we need to step upto the plate weekin week out. I will finish my little moan with the most important point and that is no matter what they do with the ticket prices people will stay away because of the dross football the is being played under the managment of warnock we are not being entertained and people will not pay to see the football as it is at the moment this reminds me of the 80s when gates fell to around 15000 in the words of asda rollback, please mr warnock please admit defeat on the job and don't be a laughing stock.

Agree13 Disagree2

Good post mate spot on. Mot.

Agree6 Disagree1

I for one will not pay to watch the dross which is been served up at the moment when g f h invest in the club so will I, what did warnock say judge me after the jan transfer window, well there you go we made a profit!

Why did warnock decide to buy a left back when we have 2 at the club already. I know drury is injured but for me when fit is a capable defender. Aidy white could have played there for the time being.
We needed burke not a third left back at the club and no width. Warnock you are the weakest link. goodbye.

I notice Danny Pugh was man of the match in Wednesday's win. He was better than Peltier at Left back and probably White as well. Warnock didn't think much of him though. Warnock's signings, substitutions and team selctions (playing old players and others out of position etc etc) have cost us dearly.

give pugh 10 years and he be first choice at leeds

Agree7 Disagree1

Pugh was alright for us when he came on loan last year. He soon reverted to type though didn't he.

Agree8 Disagree1

Pugh is a decent hard working player who is more than capable of filling in a number of roles and would be a great man to have on the bench. Secondly he is a better LB than Peltier and White. Just goes to show what Warnock knows though!

Better than white don't think so aidy played that well at lb against spurs lennon and bale had to keep switching flanks need I say more

I am losing patience with Warnock.
Why he insists on playing has beens, Brown, Diouf, and the waste of space Austin has proved to be is a mystery.

Why has Hall not been given an opportunity? I think given some games that Somma, is a match winner, his goal record against games played is nearly a goal a game. I don't think we will make the play offs, even with the new siginings and another loan player.

Believable17 Unbelievable27

Your saying you wouldn't play diouf in our team? team looks so much better when he plays and he can create abit of magic to win us a game.

Agree29 Disagree2

Diouf? are you kidding me, he has been one of our best performers this year, Brown has given more to the cause than most and Austin was the most in form player before injury. he needs a rest. stop being so damn negative or go support United or Citeh, if you want to watch household names week in week out.
MOT (or so I thought)

Agree30 Disagree1

Diouf is one of our best players, he can hold the ball up and dictate play, definitely not a has been just yet. Brown isn't as bad as everyone makes out all though i'd like to see paul green in more. Austin is in terrible form, hope he can turn it around. And ryan hall had a chance and blew it, he'll get another at some point and he'll have to prove himself

Agree24 Disagree2

Clearly an armchair fan who just points the finger at the older generation. Austin suffered a horrific injury and up until then he was instrumental he was back a lot earlier than expected give the lad a break, also Brown. . he's been consistent for most of the season, he was outstanding in the spurs game, he's old he's slow he isn't great but he give 100% every week! Also with Diouf, without him I don't think we'd be within 20 points of the play offs let alone 6, doesn't score many, granted! But his intelligence is incredible, he is miles ahead of others mentally and he makes things happen and slows the game down when we need it! If there's any player you should be slagging off this season it's Lee Peltier, and since he's been put in CB the past few games he's been outstanding and the lad deserves some praise! Go to games week in week out and you'll realise you're post is a load of rubbish. . you'll be slagging off McCormack and Byram next week. . .

Agree12 Disagree0

I agree with some things you wrote. Somma and Hall should get more of a chance, Brown I think does ok, Austin is a little disapointing but I hope its down to the extra long season he s had and I think he should be rested more giving others with fresher legs a chance. But I don't agree about Diouf, him and Rossco are really our forward inspiration (BTW, i'm glad Ross got overlooked in this transfer window)
MOT IrishWhite

Agree8 Disagree0

Diouf has been one of our best players this year and Brown hasn't done bad the past few games. I'm afraid Austin has to sit out for me. I know he had a bad injury, but so did Kisnorbo and looked what happened to him. Get Norris or Green in the middle. Austin may need a little more recovery time, but he was our worst player on Saturday

Agree6 Disagree0

04 Feb 2013 15:59:32
For me green or Tonge has to play next game, instead off Austin not Brown. Austin shows little bits off quality ie a burst off pace can go past people, But he than just boots the ball into orbit. I blame Warnock and his staff, surley someone must have a word. And tell him to stop shooting at the moon, just lay it off get your head up. Stop trying to drill a pass 60 yards win the ball keep it simple is all I would be telling him. Make the bursting runs forwood but you don't have to shoot every time as a manager Warnock must be telling him this, If he is not then some off the other players need to step up and tell him. The lad could be a good player if helped a litteland then he has to listen, if he won't then drop him. I feel sorry for green when he playes on right we look a better side adds energy and helps Sam and gets forwood v well, I can not understand why he's not played in league (unless it's in loan deal that Barkley has to play)

he did look really bad but when becchio first signed for leeds he was such a poor finisher.
maybe its just nerves infront of a big crowed in an important game that got to him.

Agree10 Disagree2

I'll be honest, he had such little time on the pitch and little of the ball in that short space of time I think I'll hold off the stinging criticism. I thought it was funny however that whilst he was warming up in front of the Kop he was getting rounds of applause. It shows how starved of quality signings we have been that we cheer for a loan player from the Belgium league who we have never seen play with a wild optimism that he will be awesome. It's much more likely he will be pap let's be honest. Great comedy name though.

Agree16 Disagree0

For christ sake give the lad a chance he had 15 mins he was put up against probably the best 2 centre halfs in league never got the service instead of having a go at him blame Warnock for taking of Douif instead of Varney at least with Douif he could of create something.

Agree16 Disagree2

To be fair to the boy, he didn't exactly get much of a chance. he never got the ball and had time and space to do anything, the Cardiff half was so compact none of our players had a chance to put there foot on the ball, give the lad a few games and then judge but you can't judge someone on a game like that its impossible to do anything against the London Victoria Bus Station in Cardiffs half!

Agree8 Disagree0

Some of you on here are a JOKE, you expect miracles from a bloke who gets 15 minutes on the pitch against the team who are top of our division and playing with players he has had a day training with. Seriously go and join that t*** on S*** Ham blog, you'll fit in there. MOT SussexLeeds

If we don't beat Middlesborough I'd say season is over!

Believable22 Unbelievable2

With 16 games left I think we need to win 12 of these to give ourselves an outside chance of getting the remaining automatic promotion place. To get into the top six (top 5 to be safe, because of our For & Against situation) going by the average over the past few years we need 32 points out of the remaining games. Possible a bit less as this year the league is so close. So I think we can safely say if we don't win all our games in feb, (Wolves, boro, Blakburn and Blackpool) we might be in a touch of trouble. Not that I want Warnock to throw in the towel like he did last year. but we got to be honest with ourselves.

(Still think we can get 36 points from the remaining Games)
