Hear hear to the guy saying give Smudger a break. I'm sick of having to defend Smudge against people who clearly need to see the bigger picture - Alans a decent bloke who would still have Leeds written all over him if he was cut in two! Ok the leg break hasn't helped and hes probably more Championship than Premiership but he could really do the business for us - I'd love to see him return! Don't care if I'm the only one happy for him either ;)

Why do Leeds fans think they can act all God like when it comes to moaning about Mr Alan Smith and his (hopefully) imminent arrival back at his "Spiritual" home.? Give the bloke a break when he left he refused any monies owed too him by the club that surely deserves some credit/respect and I for one would have him back tomorrow hes just what we need. . A tough tackling leader of men and as far as im aware we don't have too many of them at Elland Road so give him a break get your judgemental heads out of your arses and look at the bigger picture. . The improvement of our ONCE magnificent football club. !

Confirmed:

Newcastle launching 6m assaut to reel in max gradel. And with Ken in charges seems like hes a going up north .
Still 6m would allow us to buy a good defender and holding midfied player.

To the editor, I think you should only process rumours that av a genuine source, cut out the cr*p like (a friend of a friend) or the classic (I know the players family) jeeze there are rumours that fans can get excited about but this site is spoilt by the idiots who make up cr*p, ed all rumours should be followed by source

Yes, it's terrible when people keep making up rubbish - rather like your use of the English language.

Personally I would love to see Smithy return to his home, but I doubt it will happen. So the lad has been at home? It's the Xmas/New Year period and not at all unexpected if you have been told that you do not feature in the manager's plans for the next few games. I think it's more likely that we will recall Clayton. As for all the rumours surrounding strikers and wingers, do we really need any more? Replacing BJ? We have Nunez, Sam and Watt for that. We need a good holding midfielder and a left-back, nothing more.
