Its still possible to get a top 2 position at the moment as we can get to 85 points now we would need some luck on our side to pull that off but everyone is dropping points still

Strikers are paid to score goals. i'm not saying mac or morri are not good capable strikers but with diouf, hall and habi on bench, we have options not to start with the m s. just to take a bit of stress off them, even for half a game. We need to start chipping away at goal difference, ready for the big push. Or are hall and habi not good enough?

Believable9 Unbelievable12

I think we need to leave the team alone, it's the best we've had for some time now, even if it isn't perfect. Okay if we have an injury change something, otherwise leave well alone and let them get used to playing with each other rather than giving them yet a new target player to try and find.

Agree16 Disagree4

This team under colin for some reason has settled or he has placed the players in there correct areas.
its a shame that this did ent happen late nov/dec.
get ready for the big push.
dont think we are ready for the prem but who knows keep the faith

Ok leave well alone. So, even if we lose next 2 and don't score? Change then or would you then wait for how they go against an easier team?

Agree3 Disagree1

None of the replacements are prolific in any shape or form. Never have been. Morison and McCormack have both been prolific at some point in the past.

Like most I am concerned about where our goals are coming from at the minute and with tough games coming up we need them to step up. But our defense has not let a goal in for 3 games so carry on like that we can guarantee points every game. If we find some form I am sure we will end strongly

Leeds will always score goals - just becouse we have sold beccs does not mean that the goals have gone.
chaps wallace smith cantana ect ect we have always had a striker to find the net we always move on have faith in what we have got becouse I believe they will become house hold names

I was about 8 years old and my dad a Leicester fan took me to Flibert Street to see Leicester vs Leeds in the League Cup, not sure of the exact year but around 1970. We won 0-1 and I for one will settle for that tomorrow night (I will be at the King Power Stadium tomorrow night)

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds v Coventry - Robbie Keane scored a beauty! I was about 7/8 my dad took me and I remember been in awe of the size and the noise of the place. Still get goosebumps every week when I get in and look around

October 1987 Leeds 3 Bournemouth 2. Same day that Joe Bugner fought Frank Bruno. I think Bob Taylor and Peter Swan were on the scoresheet for us, Carl Richards got two back for the Cherries.

I am 31 and went to my first game the other day against Millwall, great atmosphere and worth the journey from London.

Agree0 Disagree0

First home game was 1971 v WBA the famous offside goal (check it out on you tube young 'uns) and the first away game was the blunts ( I think 1975), we won 2-0 but can't remember who scored I was too busy watching the Leeds fans and in absolute awe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Saturday 29th Febuary 1992 Leeds united 2 - Luton Town 0. I was 5 years old and remember the game because it was Chris Kamara's first game back after we sold him to Luton. Can't remember anything else about the game. Last game was Saturday vrs Millwal. Don't go to every game but prob 10 or 12 a season. Glory supporter and will go every week when we finally get back! Ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds v Ipswich Town 1979 2-1 victory. I was eight and I remember like yesterday.

Away Blackburn 1988 drew 1-1. One of the worst games ever. Bob Taylor scored the only thing of any note.

Agree1 Disagree0

Mine was early nineties v we won 2-1 I was about 8 and remember cantana getting lots of abuse and giggs too every time he took a corner and got the ball wi his permed curtains lol that was my first but my fav was v Blackburn we were 1 down and everyone started to leave but I refused telling my step dad there is time an the Brian dean scored a header at the death the noise was emence I couldn't grasp why people would leave before the end and I was rite. That's why I say let's get behind the team until there is no chance

Early games roll into one. Started regularly in 86/87 Hull, Grimsby, Plymouth, Sheffield Utd. Still smile when I think of some of players we had then. John Stiles, Bobby Davison, Ian Baird, Neil Aspin, Peter Haddock, John Clelland, Bob Taylor, Noel Blake, Vince Hillaire, John Sheridan, David Batty, Russell Doig, Jack Ashurst, Vince Brokie, Peter Swann, Brendan Ormsby, etc, etc. Worst moment. Play off final brim, 87. Was there. Peter 'bloody' shirtliff!

After 40 odd years of supporting Leeds this was a hard one.

But recently Leeds V Bristol last game of the season and promotion from League 1. atmosphere was great during the game and after including the coach journey home down south.

Most memorable performance for me has to Alan Smiths first game against Arsenal and he gave Tony Adams a really hard time. for me that was Smithy arriving on the scene. Not sure if there is footage on youtube but worth a watch

LEEDS Vs LIVERPOOL YEBOAH BEAUTY!!

Agree0 Disagree0

First leeds game was 12 as I am from London I went to Tottenham away we drew 2-2. Last game was away to wolves which was also 2-2

Agree0 Disagree0

First home games Leeds Vs Swindon in the cup at ER - a man by the name of Paul Robinson got on the scoresheet that game in the last minute, hard to forget that game. I remember thinking 'whats the referee doing?' as he was dressed in black and just stormed into the area.

Agree0 Disagree0

First home game was a friendly against Watford in the 70s sometime, the chanting was something that would have got us docked points nowadays but it was a great game nonetheless. I can't remember the score but I think we lost tbh. I think Terry Connor scored for us.

First away game was at Walsall in 1986, turned up without a ticket, could not get one but lived locally, well gutted. Funnily enough the other 1000 or so leeds fans in the same boat forced them to let us all in to save trouble. We won 3-1 if my memory serves.

Best away game Swindon 0-5 Leeds Utd in 94 or 95, was it?.

Midfield of Strachan, Batty, Speed and Mcallister, totally ran the show. I was in with the home fans keeping a low profile as they were turfing Leeds fans out constantly. Brian Deane missed a sitter, spooned over the bar into the crowd in front of us. A Swindon fan commented "At least we have got possession for a second" I just love football humour.

Our fans were singing 100 goals 100 goals as Swindon had just conceded the 100th. They took it well tbh.

Most amazing away game has to be 2001 away to Real Madrid, Lost 3-2 but what an experience. Fans teaching the buskers to play MOT in the Plaza Major, Epic. A great 6 days.

Anyway I have bored thee enough
So I'll just say MOT chaps always MOT

Leeds v spurs 1-1, with Mark Viduka equalising from the penalty spot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds 3 Leicester 2, there was also a streaker on the pitch! Think it was 2000/01 season. First away game was Wigan, we lost 3-0, Bullard ripped us apart, how times have changed!

Think playoffs are a tough call but its going to be great going for it. Seems we have our defence sorted at last. just a bit concerned about scoring. Morrisons is new, but according to the live text of the millwall game. he didn't touch the ball. Plus mac seems to be misfiring, so where are the goals going to come from? Time to swap morrison for diouf or hall, reckon, maybe even try habibou for first half of next game and give mac a rest. Varney doing ok but one of our strikers has got to step up now becc gone. The next couple of games are tough but afrer that we need to go on a mother winning streak and score plenty too! Go for it lads. Its a bit strange as well, warnock stumbled on this starting line up and now seems clueless about tweaking it. What exactly do we pay him for. Roll on end of season. If leeds do get in playoffs it will be because of their ability not warnocks.

Being at the game morison played well as did ross their off ball movement and chances created were good. I know what your saying our end product wasn't great but eventually that will come.

Morrison put a shift in and worked hard. Things I used to slag Becchio off for every game. However, I do feel if we still had Becchio he would have profited from Morrison's work rate. We need a number 9 who plays down the middle. Morrison is a big lad and great in the air, but he tends to go out wide when he should be on the end of a cross. Norris, Varney, Tonge and Green were poor on Saturday, but I still think they are the better option than Austin and Brown.

Tonge poor saturday you got to be joking mate

2nd reply. He was made to run channels at norwich and sometimes was put as a wide man. The defence and midfield are good just need the front 3 to get in with it now. I still think we should give habibou a second half or even a full match he might just make the difference
