Get a grip. If you went to games, understood the game and were a true fan then you would realise how well SG has done. Yes we took a hammering and im embarrased and gutted, but other than Southamptom we have matched if not played teams off the park. Yes SG makes mistakes, don't we all? He is young, Leeds through and through and the hardest thing he has to deal with is Bates. If he was given Leicesters money Im sure we would have a great team cos the targets he has won't sign for our tight wage budget. Yes he has brought in s**te signings but surelly the scouts have a part to blame. Yes the defence is crap, but its improving. We have young lads in there who are learning the game. I would rather play the young lads as they are the future. We are all frustrated, but love or hate Grayson, he has done wll and I have faith he will get better and in time get us promoted. Our match on sunday is a very hard one and win, draw or lose, its another good team away done for this season and when it counts after xmas, we dont have to go there as they will get better and better. Keep the faith, in Grayson we trust. NR

Anyone who manages Leeds united or plays for Leeds united gets my support...well apart from a recent goalie! Do you think bates looks on here and listens to the calls for Grayson to go?! Until he decides Grayson is finished then it's a pointless exercise calling for him to go. So close down the site!

To the first poster h love your comments..!
you talk of SG doing a good job then comment about his constant tactical mistakes and sh**e signings - we have not played teams of the park (Donny) away with exception - I was at Posh where they were down to ten men and still battered us..! albeit we scrapped a 95min goal so in truth GRAYSON OUT end of

To the 5th poster;
I am clearly stating that people make mistakes and Leeds have made their fair share of them down the years. Changing managers all the time wastes money and doesnt prove anything. Look at that scum git at Manchester, 25 years and he was nearly sacked in the early years! SG is still learning, I bet your not perfect at your job! I don't know how many games you have been to, you mention Peterborough but I said we have matched teams if not played them off the park. We have lost games when we should have won because of silly mistakes and W**k refs. If we were to beat Leicester (very unlikley) then you would probably jump on the bandwagon again. Lets get behind the team. NR

On our day were more than a match for anyone in this division, once again we lack consistency, wouldnt suprise me if we go to Leicester and get a result, look at our performances against,West Ham,Hull,Donny, yes were probably 2 or 3 signings away from being able to challenge for promotion, till we get them support what we have.cmon ye whites.

Rachubka, like some of his other signings have been dire, must be at least half a dozen who could be got shut of to enable better players to come in,time he sorted his own mess out.

But then how have clayton, lonergan, mccormack, kisnorbo (pre-injury), somma (pre-injury), gradel before we sold him, micky doyle on loan, nunez when he plays, even danny pugh, first reply you need to stop going on about signings that might not have been great but look at the signings that he has made that ARE good players that HAVE played well this season, ill quote Warnock from SSN yesterday 'every manager makes poor signings, were not perfect', or is Grayson the only one to do it according to some fans on here :S

Does anyone think that Rachubka has any sort of future as a Leeds player, even in the longer term? I have never seen a player have such a nightmare and be subbed, and the club brings in a new keeper on a short term loan because he is THAT bad. He has been awful, but feel a bit sorry for him. SG talking about putting him out on loan maybe as well. How longs his contract?
Will he ever play for Leeds again?
AGREE for yes

I do feel sorry for him, but it's inexcusable to make that many mistakes in the 4/5 games he's played nevermind the one Blackpool game. Nobody mentions the fact that McCormack has been missing chances (particularly an open goal against Coventry), I'm not defending Rachubka I've been to every game he's played home and away and he is shocking, but it's a cruel life being a goalkeeper!

I agree with all the people on here who think we should appoint a super-computer who never makes mistakes as manager but until such a thing is invented we will probably have to use a human like everyone else. So in the meantime I suggest we get someone who knows Leeds United inside out as a fan and player, with a proven track record of success, who knows how to nurture young talent and who plays attack-minded football. If only there was someone out there who fitted the bill...

Sick of all the pessamistic cynical so called 'Leeds Fans' we get one bad result and apparently its a relegation battle for leeds and Grayson out. its easy to support Leeds when were winning games. We've got a strong squad, yes the defence needs work, but we can challenge for promotion this season. so either support the club or 'F' off.

Leeds United fans deserve a team in the premiership. The city of Leeds deserves a team in the premiership. However I don't think SG is going to get us there. The last 3 games have seen us drop 8 possible points, not the kind of results for a team pushing for promotion. SG has failed miserably to sort out an awful defence which he had last season, and the team is so inconsistent it's unbelievable. Much as i like SG as he's a Leeds fan, I'm really under the impression that this is as far as he can go, the chairman doesn't help I know but the bottom line is that the team is managed and it should be managed to get us promoted, at the moment, it's not happening.
Believable10

I think it's a good post too, though I would wait till the end of the season to judge SG, surely he deserves that? We are seeing new players bought in, and mistakes (eventually) rectified, Rome wasn't built in a day?
I figure we might scrape it this year, but if we don't the SG will be on his final chance next season??

I know a lot off our fans would have liked a more expreanced keeper on loan .But youth can work no fear ,not letting the ER crowd panic them that's watt has happened to chewbacca since the cov game ,Hes looked petriffied of makeing a mistake .Last year when we played Reading at a important time he was outstanding .I'm sure Grayson would have said to the team test this young lad early and get the crowd on his back .well we did and this lad.Just came for every high ball made some great saves and we the crowd had no affect . In the end he got motm .
Believable0

If you're going for youth though, why not give your own youth a chance? What sort of message does it send to Cairns?!

Cairns will be slightly disappointed however with no experience behind him to speak of he will understand. McArthy is young (although 3 years older than Cairns) but already he has good experience. A v good signing and you'll see that on Sunday.

Yeah ONLY loan signing. Being a LU fan Cairns should have been given the spot. Lets face it we are rubbish this season, at least our young cairns gets good experience for next year- I am Sure

alot of different opinions on the sg, for me i think he has done a fantastic job foeor us, getting us out of league 1 beating scum etc, brought a few good players through, he did exactly the same at blackpool, he built the foundation of a team to go up, however i do feel someone else should be given ago but not yet, i think we should see what the situation is at xmas, if we are there or thereabouts then he is still doing his job, the jan window will be a big one, i am shocked hes not sorted the defense out as that has been are big problem since he took over. if we dont go up this year he has nobody to blame but himself, at the moment we do have a squad of players but he picks the same 11, rosso had a great start, bagged a few but aint scored in about a month, becchio has not been given enough time neither have the 2 finnish lads, varynen was a first teamer at psv and is being kept out of the team by howson who has been disgraceful this year. in my own opinion we need a boss to steady the defence and not be scared to drop people who dont perform. someone like o'neil or even george graham. rant over
Believable6

I've not been on this site since Tuesday as I knew that it would be full of moans & cries for the heads of Grayson, Bates & anyone else down to the tea lady.
I have two things I'd like to say though ....
Firstly regarding the management:- I cringed when Ken Bates took control of the club I love. Yes he is (allegedly) a rum dodgy dealer but without him there would be no club so .....he is OUR dodgy bugger & lets stop with the negative shouts. On Simon lets keep faith with him the same as we did the day he was appointed/got us out of L1 - He will deliver.
Secondly - I note that a lot of the negative posts were made during the match, as I was there & know how poor the connections are during a match I presume you carping commentators were sat at home/in the pub claiming to be "twue fans" if you are why were you not at ER supporting the team?
As the faithful sang "Support the team or feck off home"
I was there until the final whistle supporting the only team I have ever supported since 1965, and will be through "all our ups & downs until this world stops going round!"

Ive supported lufc since 1972. I was born and live nr southampton and always have.I am a member every year.Have played at elland road. I went to st mary`s with the away fans, and I try to make a few home games a year. Because you go DOES NOT make you more of a fan, or real fan . It hurts like .... when we loose and my mrs keeps away from me for days. I bleed lufc. I`m a true fan as much as anybody.

we have had these days before where we have lost badly, been negative on here then bounced back,ie southampton.
but this dont i dont see the bounce back coming, leicester then burnley.i forecast a point overall.i hope im wrong but this is what i see will happen.i dont have any answers if it does.sacking grayson not sure is the answer.the answer could be good loan signings.gk,danny rose, wilson from liverpool, and i dont care if given stick but even alan smith would show more heart and quality than howson.rose for snodgrass, wilson for odea.lichaj for connolly and a good keeper.then if we are no better grayson goes but i think this would improve us,give the fans a lift and take us to plays offss.fact is with this squad we have no chance at at all to get into play offs. shrew leeds

Just a thought for all the SG doubters - who would you replace him with. Must have the following .....
1, Able to work with Bates
2, Experience at working with a shoe-string
3, Not a stop gap to better paid job in Premier
4, Know the leeds fans and their expectations.
Is there really any other managers out there that meet all of the above. I can't think of one.

I think SG would do better if Real Funds were available AND ONLY IF ( thats why KB does not give him real money)( KB is a business man- who owns what of LU assets?? - is another issue that might help to redirect funds for players) he bought the right players, so far it seems that he brings in all either sell-by dates or players who MAY prove to be good buys, but clearly not good enough for this division. Todate only the home grown players are showing any promise and Claton and Snodgrass. The rest are just Divsion one players.OH L.Sam and bachio deserve more starts. SG should sit in the stands, he will get a better view of the players performance.
