Reading some of the posts below it seems Dylan Thwaites has clearly been ousted as some sort of dreamer and maybe Mad Dog Tax Dodge Cellino knew this all along. I certainly thought it was very unprofessional of him to almost threaten Cellino to not talk to any other interested parties. Could have been his undoing. He'll be sleeping with the fishes soon.

I'm not sure this so called buyout is what we need the sites already touting for Russell crow to cough up some readys smells of desperation to me Β£500.000 already in shares from hard working fans isn't going to cut it and he's got twelve weeks to stump up hmmmm?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 15:48:51
Check out Dylan Thwaites, just google " Dylan Thwaites Duedil"

He has been a director of 31 companies, 30 of which are now all dissolved, 1 still active Leeds Fans United Ltd, don't really need a man with a history of failure getting involved with our club, the bloke is a joke.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 17:54:07
Yes we have our own lovable clown.! Company House states ' Leeds Fans LLP was registered on 27 Jan 2015 with its registered office in Ls11 5Hl. The business has a status listed as "Dissolved" and it currently has 2 directors. The company's first director was Mr Dylan Thwaites. Leeds Fans LLP has no subsidiaries. ' Sounds decidedly dodgy, has Cellino seen all this and done the right thing?

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 18:20:17
Oh and as well as that he will also be creaming of the hard saved cash of us Leeds fans for the so called shares ( expenses as he will call them) dissolve this company and its goodnight cash!

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 18:40:26
True ket shares bought would receive no profits, also no loss if club went t**ts up. To be run as a cbs, only people who would make money are people who loaned us money who would get a fixed %50 interest rate when we get to premiership, or go t""ts up I assume, If they lend 10 mill they get 15mill back not bad. Win win for some one not the fans who have bought shares.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 14:58:01
I've got to say Stevie E is winning me over. The guy seems genuinely honoured to be managing our great club. I was at Esso getting some diesel on the way homewhen someone said he was emotional after beating Cardiff and I got all emotional too. Well I filled up anyway.

Any manager who respects the enormity and history of LUFC is alright by me. If he fails it won't be for the lack of trying and giving it his all.

The boy needs some lessons in fashion though to be honest. I'm liking the suit look, not the beach look he had last season. Mind you one of those sombreros might look the biz with a shiny shelly. Thoughts?

Great post MM. I said from the off SE could be a diamond in the rough. I like his attitude and demeanour. I applaud plain speaking. Not namby pamby 433 German carp. We are Leeds.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 16:59:48
Well Mick a think a suit makes the large one look a bit better, well don't think a shell suit or shorts and those awful t-shirts he has worn (typical style of older Scottish geezers on holiday) do him any favors so he needs to stick with a suit.

I like the fact he seems a straight forward coach, back to basics and in the championship that could work out OK, I hope so I really do as someone has got to work out.

glad mad dog MC not selling to fans group as just can't believe they would be good for us due to lack of funds and no clear idea how to run a big club ( I mean I'm a fan but would not have a clue), decisions by committee never work.

FairPlay to MC - at least he came clean and has not prolonged the agony - would hate to see LFU struggle to make it work - conspiracy theories aside, if the deal had gone through and further down the line we couldn't pay the lecce bill then would one of the wealthier members of LFU stepped up and 'saved' us buy buying out the fans and in turn land himself a club at a cut price fee?!? Not that it matters now MC only dealing with genuine offers - if we win again on Saturday it will be only genuine offers from individuals with an eye patch, one arm and a blood line to a Martian called NealπŸ˜‚.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 13:42:25
I find it a little under hand and dishonest. Says he will sell to the fans, then renegs when he actually finds they can complete the purchase. I don't think it was the right move, but they called his bluff and he folded. There was a motive to this scenario and it was propbably to look favourably with the players / fans at the time.

Its the same way he says the club will only be offering 2000 away tickets, should more be offered for purchase by away teams. He went back on his statement to look favourable.
Every action / statement he has made has been planned and has a motive to come up on top.

We have the fist win under SE, let's hope this doesn't upset the vibe around the club. 6 points in the next 2 games are required.

could not disagree with this more. MC knows the bid was silly talk so has made that clear. real people with real money not a group with no experience and not enough money to play the cleaners let alone the players well done MC.

Agree4 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 13:35:30
Agree BW. if MC sells we need someone who can buy us out of their small change, not an organisation scrimping to find the cash. All the best to LUST, but like other people have said, go for GFH stake or MC's 2 %
If we are to get back to the premiership before hell freezes over we will need someone with serious dosh behind them.

Agree2 Disagree1

04 Nov 2015 13:44:24
Whether it was silly talk or not, they called his bluff and he folded.

In any case, he started the "silly talk".

Agree0 Disagree1

04 Nov 2015 15:06:25
Maybe if lfu had not been giving media interviews every two hours and proceded with some decorum he may have given them time to show they had money. Fact is they said themselves they did not have money, yet? How many shareholders and how much money do they have. I asked a guy who was trying to get me to join and he said it was none of my business unless I bought shares, fans united eh.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 11:55:46
I think we know now that he will only be dealing with people with real money and hopefully not afraid to spend some.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 12:12:38
Lets hope. Overall I understand his motives. Thwaites started acting in arrogant and unprofessional manner. Why he publicly stated that he will "demand" exclusivity period? Why he made the details of the dealings with Cellino public? On the other hand what do you expect from Cellino? "Yes I'll give you exclusivity period although I know that you doesn't have the money so I'll pull of another bidders and wait for three month whether you find money or not".

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 12:18:40
Trouble is all this background chatter doesn't help us on the pitch, hope SE and his big personality can keep the players focused on the next few games and probably the rest of the season. can't see a sale going through too quick, whoever steps in.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 11:13:14
So massimo has seen sense and is not selling that tells me he has the club at heart, so if the leeds group are serious buy out the very quiet invisible potless GFH then work with massimo.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 16:26:04
I do agree who ever buys the club needs serious money to go forward buy better players and wages and eventually buy Elland Road back.
we as a club don't have anything no assets apart from the players.
Cellinio did help the club when we needed it, the main problem is still the Arabs and until we get rid of them we will never progress.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 10:43:49
Well, for what its worth guys and girls, I think the LFU buyout was never going to happen and in that scale was an impossible dream and would not have worked anyway. Buy a small stake, have a say, great idea. Massimo will say and do what suits at the time. let's just get behind the lads, support our team to the hilt and let off field matters take their course. MOT.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 11:02:36

We need someone with vision and money to go forward.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 11:04:44
Spot on vid.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 11:47:18
vid, I agree. I think that maybe the LFU sale was Cellino just being Cellino and said he would sell to the next person that asked him, whoever that may be. In the cold light of day when his brain had caught up with his mouth he decided, selling at cost was not his best option. He may be sly he may be slippery but he is not stupid (well not that stupid) . At the end of the day LUFC is an investment and as such a return is looked for.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 12:05:07
Totally agree, need someone with lots of money consortiums, groups etc never get far. I think lfu should be looking at buying a smaller share to get someone on board. If they were certain they had funds to buy why were they begging people like Crowe. Now Cellino should stay away from ground and get on with it. Look at Lerner, Glaziers etc got a lot of stick from fans but clubs still successful.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 12:10:03
Veiled threats as implied by Mr Thwaites were only ever going to do anything other than irritate Mr C to the point where he might pull out the rug from under them - as he has done. Perhaps just a reflection of someone getting over excited.

Interesting that Mr C is alluding that the content of conversations were not necessarily in line with what has been claimed or reported - though could always be down to the substance having being lost in translation.

Have to say that were I in his position I would not be prepared to offer exclusivity until such time that the intended purchaser could satisfy me that they had the wherewithal to complete any transaction - and I suspect that despite all the talk by LFU, that was and still is, not the case.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 10:20:34
I think MC is the best thing for Leeds and if everyone P! $$3S him off enough then he has the power to destroy the club.

I am not saying he will but I think him not selling to the fans anymore might have something to do with the way he has been treated.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 10:46:48
Its not that, its quite clear that he will cut corners financially (tax evasion and all) and lie to keep all happy whenever he can. This was all a ruse to get keep people happy and luft sprits at the club.

Once he knew the fans group had the means, a plane and wanted a legal agreement for exclusivety. He backed out.

And I dint think he is the best thing for the Club, nor did I think the fans buyout was the best option, but a just better one. The roller coaster ain't going to stop and he will go out with a bang.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 11:54:15

well one swallow don't make a summer. however clean sheet always a very wlecome treat for leeds. Also loved what SE said about Alex being rock bottom and he has lifted him, Se comment about the pass mowatt made and he said have a shot if it goes wrong the fans will shout at me not you. then mowatt hits a wonder goal and shows more confidence.

we looked more passionate and showed a bit of fight which is the least we should show.

I said over a year ago I liked SE and I do think he will organise us and lift us and make a bit of us and them mentality which should get better results as I still don't think we have that bad a team/squad.

My next prediction is wood to go on a crazy scoring run with a brace against huddlesfield. it was written it my tea bag this morning, which is very odd as I only drink coffee.

Morning guys,

Very important win last night! Il openly admit I wasn't happy about Evans coming in, but I have to say I love his attitude towards our great club! Every interview he talks about the club with such passion, constantly emphasising what our club is all about and what it deserves! He's obviously trying to instil this into the players so fair play mr Evans! Keep doing that and the results will improve!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 00:25:40
As I have said on many occasions when Belusci plays anywhere near his best he is by far our most accomplished player and we don't concede too many. Middlesborough was an abboration or so it appears. I have said that if that type of attitude persisted he shouldn't play. Whatever happened he was more like his old self - Comfortable on the ball, mobile and he covered the gaps well. He even made Cooper look good and it was him, not Cooper, who ran the show. Bamba and Cooper together will usually concede two or more goals. Look back at when Belusci plays usually only one or less. Even at Middlesborough it was Bamba who gifted the third goal but yes on that day Belusci was awful. However, on many occasions the Bamba /Cooper combination has been as bad. Hope Belusci has got his head together. If he has he is a very useful asset. Let's hope Evans can keep him straight and enthusiastic.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

04 Nov 2015 07:32:04
Be interesting to to see how it pans out against a team that can string a pass and don't give the ball away as much as Cardiff did last night! Not disagreeing - just cautious.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 07:48:13
I agree. This is I think was the first time Belusci and Cooper have played together. Whether they continue together is very doubtful so we may never know. Previously it was Bamba and Belusci and their record was quite good (ie better than the other combinations) with the odd exception even when up against decent opposition. Cooper and Bamba together concede against almost everybody. I don't know what it is but they give away goals when they otherwise seem to be playing ok.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 nov 2015 09:15:04

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 00:07:31
Not one for statistics, but what's really bugged me over the last few years is the win percentages of recent managers. Since Grayson, who had a percentage of just under 50%, no manager has got above 40%, with Mcdermott as the highest with 38%

To state the obvious, I haven't considered Redders in his caretaker roles.

But we win the next 2 games, which is very very possible Evans can hit 50% and can crack on from then.

With regards to todays performance, bloody awesome. Cooky has to play in the centre and although Mowatt isn't a wide player, really happy with his selection there.

And I think we need to rotate the defence a little. It feels like that now Bamba is a permanent signing, he doesn't have to impress anymore.

Looking forward to the signings Evans is bringing in, Bridcutt and hopefully Mannone. And 2 others, a striker and a left back, maybe.

Delighted for Mowatt. Having a difficult 2nd full season, but fair play to the boy. Can't be easy for him getting stick from all angles.
Too fat, slow and not scoring like last season are just some of the comments been said about the lad. We have a very young team with hardly any experienced pro's, yet some "fans" just love having a dig at our players. OK, Blackburn was awful but it was more to do with shattered confidence than anything else.
While we have the best supporters in the world, we also have a fair share who just love to jump on players backs. Look at Tom Lees.
Absolutly flying at Wednesday now but constantly pilloried at Leeds. So what if he hoofed the ball clear, he's a defender not Pirlo. Wish we still had the lad at ER, but he was happy to leave and who can blame him. let's not drive out our other talented youngsters as its going to be hard enough to keep them as it is.
Great 3 pts tonight though.
