Neil Warnock to release the following players..
Vayrynen, Forssell, Payntor, O'Brien, Bruce, Parker, Nunez, Brown?, O'Dea & Webber?
That's a possibility of 10 going to make way for proven players such as Kenny, Hill, Ambrose, Derry and a few more.
MOT {Ed020's Note - nunez signed a new contract earlier on in the season, and webber is looking too good to let go.}

Believable1 Unbelievable3

He's also an admirer of Brown and O'Dea's looked much better since Warnock came, as has Bruce. Not sure you're thinking this through.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he let webber go he is one of the only players who looks hungry at the moment plus its warnocks signing. nowt else to play for this season so i would give webber a decent run out until the end of season cant do any harm. and to be honest i questioned why he signed him in the first place.

i think maybe bring harte back to leeds .we havnt really got a consistently good free kick taker at the moment and he will be free in the summer if reading dont wish to renew his contract . we should of bought him the other season for 100 k as he as been well worth that at reading

Warnocks 'done deal' could be Darren Ambrose, his contract is reportedly out in the summer, he's worked under Colin before and could be a replacement for the almost inevitable sale of Robert Snodgrass

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Replacement for howson not snoddgrass, not that I think snoody will stay, from watt I have been told Ambrose is a done deal ,I was told to put a sneaky £10er on it,But I couldn't be arsd so I posted it on a reply to another post

Anyone reckon the player we are after could be Salif Diao? Said he can leave Stoke and hes big powerful midfielder who fits the Warnock midfield model?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

He has stated he wants to stay in uk with family and hes not good enough for prem so he will prob def be in championship next yr

I dont understand the clamour to get Beckford back to Leeds. He scored lots of goals granted but he also missed many more easier ones. He reminds me of Bendtner when he was at Arsenal, needs ten opportunities to score one. His attitude wasnt the best either, dropped his head and sulked when he didnt get his own way.

I would much rather Jay Bothroyd or someone in that mould in my opinion hes much better than Beckford.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

There's no such thing as a striker who scores from every chance he gets. If it wasn't for Beckford we'd still be in League One. Give him a break ffs.

Agree2 Disagree2

I know Beckford scored a lot of goals and he played extremely well against bristol Rovers on the last game. He missed a hell of a lot of chances and was lazy. I am sure the players making the chances for him Kandol/ Bechio et al were sick of getting a battering every game to give him the eight chances to score one. I remember the Kettering game missed a bucket load and it needed Grella to come on to score or it could have been embarrassing. Beckford scored late on when the game was already won. Kept his goal tally up though which was typical. Scored penalties which which also gave him a better return. Bringing back ex players doesn't usually work out.

ken bates contradicting himself again. quoted as saying all transfers fees in go straight to the manager. gradel not spent howson not spent to name but 2 .
now saying will will cut our squad and play some kids next year.
what a hypocrite.
, will warnock be here for next season with this false promise.

please vote.

Believable1 Unbelievable6

If the money was there to be spent it is up to the manager whether he spends it, not the chairman

Agree4 Disagree0

The money was spent by grayson but on useless loan players wages

Read about Beckford falling out with Pearson and didn't believe it inicially, may be some truth behind it.

Here's a question. Just seen Shaun Harveys interview regarding money from season tickets over next two seasons to pay for east stand refurb or a portion of then he was asked would this effect the transfer budget to which he replied the development would bring in additional revenue to secure more funds to strengthen the playing staff. So what is the additional revenue and how long will it take to achieve sufficient to strengthen the squad? Warnock is leaving next season so I would have thought that we need money when this season finnishes at end of this month? Here's another question how much does a football club get for finishing in certain places in the championship? So if we finished tenth howm much do we get? Can't that be used to strengthen the squad or is it 2 bob and a bag of crisps?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

If the current phase of development is complete, then there's a load of new boxes which companies can lease. If they've already secured leasers, then that could/should = increased revenue. I guess that's the same for the other facilities. They'll have projected incomes based on their usage which could potentially lead to increased player funds. That's what I'd guess at anyway...

Disgusted at brown blaming the fans for the poor home form. Is he forgetting the west ham game where the vast majority of the 33000+ crowd who paid up to £37 for a ticket stayed behind at the end to applaud a despite the fact we conceded a last minute equaliser. All we expect is for you to give 100% as we do in our support. My ticket for that game cost me a quarter of my wage for that week on reduced hours, think about that brown before you go judging. Absolutely disgusted brown i thought u had the balls to take responsibility

Believable4 Unbelievable3

In my opinion he has a good point with what he's trying to say but he hasn't really said it very well

Agree5 Disagree1

Probably all the anti-bates chanting throughout the season doesn't help much...

Agree4 Disagree0

Ive heard about this...where is the interview?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a 2 way street really, if we're not backing them enough then the players feel dejected and don't play as well, if they don't play well us fans start to grumble . . Can't be helped I guess

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah because all you hear at ER is 'bates out', what kind of support for the team is that?! were more bothered about our chairman whos not gonna leave rather than what happens ON the pitch

Agree3 Disagree2

You might not have liked what he said but fair play to Brown. At least he's got the guts to tell us what he thinks.
Why shouldn't he be allowed to voice AN OPINION by the way, your voicing yours.
