If we are going to play like that then 4-5-1 is the way to go. Bridcutt making difference. I want us to sign him. Him, Adeyemi and Cook are solid and allows Mowatt to have more pops at goal and I thought Debbie Does more involved today. Feel sorry for Mirco but great sub to have. If only we could acquire a real classy central defender next month this season ain't over.

Also, I think the purple helped. Ed, please can we keep it up a bit longer to see if we can go on an unbeaten run? That last sentence sounds rude but you know what I mean.

Let's stay solid in the middle, keep it purple all the time and we can beat up softer opponents with goals coming from our Wood. Yes, that sounds better.

Im fine George. Well chuffed with todays performance. don't wish to sound supercilious but realized for a while now we needed three in the centre of the park. We are too inexperienced in there and our wide players, at this moment, can't be trusted to work within a unit of four. Given time this formation will work even better, as the fullbacks can get forward a lot more and provide the width.
For now we have to take it game by game. MOT.

No ostrich here Cork. It was only a week ago we acquired Birdcage. I wouldn't trust Murphy to do a job in a midfield 5. Biggest disappointing player this season easily. Now we have Birdcage I am entitled to change my mind.

As for fullbacks such a shame with Byram. If he was focused we'd probably be 1 player short of a good side. With Wooton it'll always be 2. Classy central defender in in January and this season not over yet. Love another striker too.

Agree georgie bridcutt makes the difference. I mentioned before to play berlusci in this position as we had no one else. Need classy centre back. Cooper played better as well Think Botaka will be good but its harrdd to put him in when team lacking confidence. If we start defending well think attacking players will get their chance. Hopefully onwards andd upwards.

I agree George.
It takes a man to admit when he was wrong, I mean change his mind!
On Murphy though, just believe he's laking a bit of confidence. Probably our best passer but never grabs the game by the scruff of the neck like he should. He will get another chance in a midfield 3 and then it's up to him. Cook, I hate to say it, needs a break.

Great effort today
Bridcutt was outstanding, tackling, moving and organising, Cooper was commanding, what a shift by Wood and Silvestri's one handed save was superb.
Wootton again poor for their goal and offers nothing offensively.
We still have problems playing one up top and Wood was isolated on occasions. Tom Ad was in three or four good positions in the second half but seemed to have no idea what to do, Cook needs to be in that position.

Hull are a good team they had pace, ran at us and delivered some great balls into the box and will be in the mix for an automatic promotion place come May.

That effort and intensity every week and we ease into the top half.

Well that was a lot better, 451 with a more reserved approach and picking our moments to counter worked today against a decent hull side who will surely be top 6. Impressed with Bridcutt today he does look to be better quality than what we have got at the moment, combination of him adeyemi and cook worked well today, better from wood although still think for a big lad he needs to use that to his advantage and hold the ball up better and not get bullied about by players who are not as heavily built as him.

Sam Byram's turned down the revised contract extension.
Can't blame the lad really, I'd want to leave the Cellino Circus too!
Looks like January's going to be a challenging time for Leeds United and I wouldn't be surprised if we lose a couple of our prized assets
