Confession time. If anyone remembers the dodgy Leeds sighting photo of a girl in glasses with Alan Smith at Elland Road a while back. .that was me circa 2002-3 season LOL!
God help you all if he comes back I'll be driving everyone nuts with my photos as I go to most Leeds home games :-P
Still not sure whether to believe it though. . .

Robbie Keane, Michael Duberry, David Hopkin and Alfie Haaland all seen stood waiting outside Queens hotel in Leeds. Presumably for a car to take them to Elland Road.

According to wiki, the source of all worldly accurate information. .
"On the 3rd of January he completed his medical with English Championship club Leeds United after a fee of £800,000 was agreed between them and Malmó. The medical was completed in Sweden and the deal is subject to a work permit"
However I have searched the net and can find nothing else to back up this claim.

Alan Smith trained with Newcastle today, then went to a charity do with half of the Newcastle team. So I don't get how he is in Leeds Hotel / Elland Rd AND Thorpe Arch at the same time.

Hear hear to the guy saying give Smudger a break. I'm sick of having to defend Smudge against people who clearly need to see the bigger picture - Alans a decent bloke who would still have Leeds written all over him if he was cut in two! Ok the leg break hasn't helped and hes probably more Championship than Premiership but he could really do the business for us - I'd love to see him return! Don't care if I'm the only one happy for him either ;)
Well I can tell you your not the only one .And to them that still carry there hatred for a man that gave hes all for LEEDS UNITED I say this. If you think that Allan Smith wanted to leave Leeds to play for scum .Not only are you mad but you are also dilaudid and very much mistaken. Before berating this past Leeds hero look to the facts they are there for all to see.Not only would I welcome Smithy back with open arms but i would thank him from the bottom of my hart for what he did for us and would hang the captaincy on him the first time he walked back on to the Leeds turf .We all know he had a horrendous injury we know hes not 22 anymore .But we also know he holds Leeds United in hes hart .Not only would this be a grate move for Leeds it would also be a grate move for Smithy I am 100% sure we would see the same fire and commitment as we did in every game he ever played for us .Something that as sadly been missing sins he was sold NOT left Sold to save this club to the only cash buyer sadly that was the scum
