Would like to hope so Leo, but Roberts is only just coming out of rehab, and Ideguchi was sent to train with the 23's, so it's anyone's guess at the mo. We need new players.

Receiving Bub's view on current personnel will have no doubt affected transfer plans but not as much as you claim. Remember he already came out and said 15 players got to go. That's being implemented meaning we still need the extra 4 or 5 anyway to thicken the squad and we want first teamers. Baker done, goalkeeper looks close but we still a striker or two short, and definitely 2 more defenders are needed. It's all about finances. Blackman, Bryan, Bartley and Vydra ought to see us vie for a playoff spot but that comes with 25m acquisition costs. I don't see why Radz can't put in another few million to land Abel. He'd bang them in all season long in our shirt. Don't make the error Radz. Goals are very important! Personally I think we're doing quite well in the dross eradication stakes. I'm relatively pleased with the progress.

Hobson's choice at the moment. Bielsa is going to need 18 players for the opening league game therefore needs to draft players into his fold. I am not saying they are not good enough but it is just a matter of numbers at the moment

agree with you there bright. he couldn't get into what turned out to be a very impressive Japan team but he was in their team previously so he could turn out to be alright for us. i was particularly impressed with Japan's ball control and energy levels.

Totally Alf. Theye been my team of the tournament so far, based on the qualities you mention, plus effort and sportsmanship. They also cleaned their dressing room after every game, and left a Thankyou note to the russians! Lessons for everyone!

Grot our on loan for a season now, nobody wants to buy any of our crap so makes sense to loan them out and get the wage bill down. just in case we ever sign anyone! . 🙄

My concern is Bielsa might not hang about if Radz don't show commitment by getting some quality in. At the moment its all talk while other clubs are doing the business. Lot gone out on loan so some money must be freed up for wages and a 20mill+ transfer fund and KInnear talking about the loan market. Worrying.

Kinnear now saying we will use the loan market actively is that his way of saying we won't be getting any signings like Vydra Hernandez etc? makes sense now all this time supposedly chasing above players he says prem teams have massive squads so expect fringe players coming in from this source don't think we have the money to spend big so looks like cheaper option once again, disappointing.

Have to agree Rhino and would explain the inactivity of the club if they are waiting for PL teams to do their business before they release players on loan. At this rate we will not see players come in until back end of August.

What concerns curious George is why we seem scared to pay Abel 8m over 4 years but eager to pay Vydra 4m over 4 years so long as we cough up 10.5m straight away. 14.5m is scarier than 8m so I just don't get the strategy or reasoning. It's clear there is still financial constraints and problems but worryingly Kinnear is what I always thought he was. A talentless yes man. Leeds fans aren't stupid. Quite the opposite.

Well i am guessing at the moment that the share sales were not to invest in the team. If it was we would have Vydra and Abel now. More smoke and mirrors. Think me might have about 12-15 tops which means if we get Vydra expect bargain basement to open.

Kinnear just made a statement without saying anything, making progress he said, we've supposed to be making progress for the past few weeks, says Bielsa needs time to assess his squad, well if he's seen all our matches from last season why need more time, another smokescreen dished out to us, other sides are building nicely while were linked with every player under the sun with still no more signings Vydra, a sound centre half and keeper would go a long way to us having a good squadfed up of all the ridiculous links to players.

It seems as tho we are being held to ransom by at least one player/agent/club. Do we not think this great club cannot be treated this way. No matter how big a name they are, they are not plying their trade at the top of the prem. They have not got a table full of meaningfull awards and after all is said and done, they will not Guarantee promotion next year. Surely there are other strikers out there who will do a good job for the team, who have all the right attributes and will give 100% every game. I am not saying go back to the Pound Shop but with wise shopping around there are stars out there waiting to shine who will jump at the chance to pull on a white shirt. As for the No 10/Enganche role; from everything I have read this is where Lewis Baker excels. Or A. N. Other. Even the left back position should be relatively easy to fill. We already have a very decent left back and cover on the books surely the scouting system have identified at least two or three equally good names to capture. When it comes to a ball playing CB; it would be exciting to get Bartley back but if he is not in Bielsas plans or club/agent/player is playing hardball then, thank you and goodbye, Like buses at the Corn Exchange, there will be another one along in a minute. Yes I know negotiations are not easy but the first question is, how much do you want to play for Leeds. The answers then makes further talks that much easier. If your not going to find the treasure then just stop digging. Move somewhere else. Don't get hung up on digging while others are unearthing the jewels. No, I think it's time for us to draw a line and say - That Is Our Offer. If the players concerned do not want to join the revolution then that is their loss.

Regardless of wether as fans we agree or want the players we been linked with to come to the club. The fact is at present we have not been able to get transfers for Hernandez, Vydra, Bartley or Stockdale over the line. I understand some wage demands may be high, transfer fees big. But the fact is this is the price we have to pay to get these type of players. The only other option is to revert to type and let Orta to off to Lidls again. Mean while the other championship clubs are going about their business and strengthening their squads. If the new manager has identified the areas he needs players then let's back him and go and sign them. As good as he may be can't realistically see us pushing for the top with the current squad we got.

Dragging our way through this transfer window at snails pace. Think the Vydra, Hernandez soap is dragging on way too long, would move on and test Villa with Kodilja enquiry. LB Joe Bryan is a very good target. Also need decent winger, CB, and GK, but we need to get a move on it’s frustrating. MOT

Yes, I must admit to being frustrated with the club's inertia with regards to transfers. We are already 2 week into pre-season and Bielsa is working with less than 15 players. Those bought in will need to get up to speed with tactics and fitness.

Kinnear reckons we are making progress but the bigger clubs aren't doing much business yet due to the World Cup and that is having a knock on effect of slowing the whole process down. We shall see. I honestly don't think Hernandez is that bothered about coming so imo we should ditch him and move on.

Keep reading that we need to sign 4 or more players to push for top 6 etc. Reality check : 2nd half of last season we had the worst record in the division. We had two managers, neither of whom could get the team playing and as yet have signed no-one of any stature that suggests we will improve. Personally, I'd say we need at least 4 to avoid relegation, regardless of who the manager is.
