Got to be better than Boris at no 10 surely 😜😂😂.

Indeed Dougie - not sure Boris knows what his preferred position is, though currently plying his trade on the right wing, leaving Cummings to pull the strings as the playmaker at No10.

As for his national aspirations, for the Olympics he was big on Great Britain but lately seems only bothered about England. But whatever, he's definitely not a team player.

Bamford in Degsy. Despite Roberts impact in the last game I am not confident he can lead the line from the start.

The word out that Castilla leaving in the summer will probably be not far from the mark. It’ll be pretty difficult for him to continue at the club with this conviction hanging over his head.
It’s difficult to know the truth in all this, I’m sure he’s not a racist, but it looks quite possible he’s said something he shouldn’t have. Just hope the young Meslier does well and if he does, then could make the number 1 shirt his for a very long time.

been to Spain a number of times and sadly found racisim was rife out there. In my experience they have different standards over there to in the uk guessing but this could be behind it. truth is it is up to kiko it will be yesterdays news very soon so he can move on with us he if chooses to.

Having read through most of the FA document - I'm certainly not convinced that Kiko said what he was alledged to have said - or indeed that Leko himself actually heard whatever was said.

Why does the Commission think a long conversation would have been needed between. Leko and Bonne to pass on the basics of what Bonne thought he heard - which seems a key plank in their belief that two people definitely heard what Kiko shouted. They summise that Bonne would have told Leko that Casilla was being racist towards him, promoting Leko to ask what was said etc.

Surely Bonne would just have come straight out and told him Kiko had called him an n-word - and to go tell the ref. The ref's note only said keeper Leko n-word. Plenty of time later for Bonne to tell Leko the whole phrase he thought he heard prior to their post-match discussion with the ref. Their evidence had so many inconsistencies as to who did/ said what and when.

Kiko's evidence suggests he felt during the previous altercation that Leko was acting the big man, so it's quite feasible that in the heat of the moment after clearing the corner Kiko shouted something like ' You're f-word big, huh? ' - then just got on with the game and forgot about it as it was a totally normal and inconsequential part of the game and he was focusing on our attempt to get back into the game.

With the crowd noise and with Bonne facing away from him, it would have been quite easy for such a phrase to be misheard. Yes Kiko's defence seems a little flaky but if, as is possible, he couldn't recall having shouted anything at Leko after the corner, he may just have been trying to think what he might ordinarily have shouted having cleared a corner.

Yes it is hard to believe that Kiko would not have known the n-word, but it's also hard to believe that, having a Cameroonian mentor from when when he was learning his trade etc, and other close teammates/ friends of African origin he would have shouted racist abuse at Leko, even in the heat of the moment.

Also why, while not accepting that Kiko did not know the n-word, did the Commission take at face value the contention that Leko had never previously heard someone use a racist phrase, so froze rather than reacting as Bonne did? Leko arrived in the UK aged eight when his family claimed asylum here. With all the prejudice faced by asylum seekers, he'd have been very lucky not to have heard racist language before now.

Not saying that Leko doesn't now believe Kiko shouted abuse at him - just that it's far from clear he definitely heard what was said, or indeed that Kiko actually used the n-word.

Racism on all shores bermondsey but kiko deserves more than the kangaroo court of the FA to convict.

Cluey Case could have more holes than a teabag, what filled them was the name of Leeds United. Meslier is a better prospect and the future of the club. Let's move on. What's done is done.

Zooky Looking like I could be right after all. Certainly the current talk surrounding Kiko makes a mockery of your post which criticized mine.

indeed mate and it certainly is rife in bermondsey sadly (getting better but still a way to go) but racisim was rife in spain and as bad as poland in my expereinces.

i think he said it there is no way the defence of i don't know that word stands up. think best to move on we have a great back up and i am sure the player offended, kiko and the club will move forward

think the 22 weeks it took to come about speak volumes for the fa.

Are we supposed to take Tyro featuring front and centre in the latest training video on LUTV as a hint that Bielsa is seriously considering starting him up top? Or is it just a wind-up?

Bamford will start, unless injured.

Don't believe for one minute that Bamford will not start against Huddersfield, not bielsa's style to change it unless through injury or suspension. Roberts will probably have to settle for a place on the bench, maybe not a bad thing as will keep him keen. Scoring a couple of goals doesn't make him a out and out goalscorer, still not convinced by him personally. I know he is still young and learning his trade, more performances like against Hull and I will believe.

Agree Mezzer

Bielsa will start Bamford against Huddersfield but Bamford seriously
needs to step it up, he was very indifferent in every aspect of his game against Hull, just not good enough!

Bielsa rightly subbed Bamford after an hour or so. and Bielsa maybe losing patience in Bambam

Huddersfield have won their past 2 games convincingly so Leeds will need to be at their best to win .

im critical of belisa more than anyone but in his defence if it ain't broke don't fix it, bamford to start tyler to come on and score 5 goals in 20 minutes. happy days.

Agree Bazooka regarding Bamford, but Bielsa not going to drop him, he thinks it will change the balance of the team and also if bielsa is to drop Bamford, then that's bamfords season done.

please no alf that will finish my heart off.1-0 will do me fine. I do think if we drop bamford we will conceed he is our most important defender in many ways.

05 Mar 2020 15:14:00
I struggle with the concept of a defensive forward or should that be a non-scoring striker? Although I do agree that we defend better with Bamford than without him and his work rate in front creates opportunity for others.

Agree2 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 17:30:52
i would like to see both in the team maybe with Bamford as a 'number 10' with Roberts up front. Just praying that Roberts stays fit really.

tbh it would be ridiculous to change a winning side anyway. If I were in Bielsa's shoes I would start with the same team that won 0-4 last weekend.

i agree notts but sadly Belisa has nt got a proper defender so bamford becomes vital hence the goals going in far more when he is off the pitch. While White (for all his greatness he can't head a ball ) nd cooper (average at best) or beradi (good but a midget) are our CB's we need bamford as nly one who can head a ball in our box.

I agree it shouldn't be that way but until we get a proper defneder a defensive forward is all we got. Selling pontus made bamford undropable and the goals show this. sadly.

06 Mar 2020 11:09:43
People used to make that same argument for Morrison. Can not score but good helping in defence when the truth was he was a poor striker. If Bam that good at defending put him at CB and put some one up front who can put the ball in the net.

i would happily play bamfrd ahead of cooper and beradi in defence.
