not looking forward to tomorrows game... you watch kasper play his socks off and watch beckford come and haunt us?? im dreading the look of the back four(not obrein or bromby please)

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Totally agree. Usually well up for Leeds away, but dreading the worst. Hate this, feeling on edge whenever we play.

Agree4 Disagree2

SG is looking for quick fix- but a short term loan Goalie?? face it most of the team not fit to play in this division. I wanted Cairns given the good experience for the future. I'm sure we have more youngsters who given a chance will work their socks off. SG has no money, so let's not waste good wages on rubbish players.

Agree0 Disagree4

I personally believe this will be Grayson's last game in charge.

Agree4 Disagree2

I personally believe your a muppet oh you think that.GJ

Agree0 Disagree2

Of course Kasper will have a blinder, it's set up for him to. What better way to prove to bates and Grayson they were wrong. Good luck to him. To be honest looking at his recent replacement he hasn't got a lot to do to show Chewy up!! Beck ford hasn't got anything to prove though......if anything (he probably won't) he should be embarrassed. Left with high hopes and back where he started!

Agree0 Disagree0

ED who is the person who is making stupid comments and using My Initals ?? Gj {Ed007's Note - The best way to stop that mate is put a tag in the e-mail field (doesn't need to be an address), it can be anything, only us Eds see it and we know it is the real you posting, any your posts without it will be deleted. A lot of regulars use this method, I hope that helps.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Thanks Ed for your advice will do that from now on. Gj

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope the person who predicted it would be Grayson's last game gets to read this.

BET YOU FEEL PRETTY STUPID

Agree2 Disagree0

So where was Kasper when the goal went in, and where was Beckford when it didn't??

Support the players we have, not the players who thought they were better than the team??

Howson makes me sick; On teamtalk.com he states HE wants a Leeds reaction to the 5-0 defeat
I SAY ; I WANT a Howson reaction any time soon as his performances have been dire to say the least Gj

Believable6 Unbelievable3

"After the Cardiff game, we went on a bit of a good run and hopefully we can now do the same," he said.
He is including himself mate I no he's not bin great but not our worst player by a long chalk stop digging at him and get behind the team

Agree5 Disagree2

I am 100% behind the team mate but this is heartache to watch, it reminds me when we got relegated to Div 1 Gj

Agree3 Disagree3

After the cardiff game last season when we got stuffed (higgs our 2nd keeper's fault....detect any pattern?) we went on a great run and got up to 2nd by mid december ally

The chickens are coming home to roost.
As most fans realised, the summer transfer dealings were a disaster. We lost four first teamers and their replacements were obviously panic signings when the real targets went elsewhere.
To rely, as Leeds did, on Kisnorbo returning to his best after 18 months out, to rely on a 34-year-old Michael Brown - clearly over the hill - to replace two reasonably good players (Johnson and Kilkenny) was madness. All things considered, Simon Grayson has done well to keep this cobbled-together, demoralised team in mid-table, but there is no chance of this team getting promoted to the Premier League.
The chief problem is the investment policy of the Chairman - or rather the lack of it. He says we must live within our means, but what business can expect to survive in a highly competitive environment without investing?
Howson will probably go at Christmas, and Leeds will finish outside the top six. Unfairly, Simon Grayson will take the blame and will probably be sacked.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Good post

Agree5 Disagree2

You can't disagree with this

Agree1 Disagree2

I disagree. Load of rubbish. We will win the league.Gj

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah good call GJ, just like your post that we should get Paynter back and Grella back (who left to Brentford) because they're good strikers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Michael Brown was an awful, awful signing.

Agree0 Disagree1

You will notice that that post was not by Gj it was an person using his initals
read above about his comments ty

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually we can disagree with this post, we have been in this league just two seasons and we are against teams who are coming down with serious parachute payments to rely on, rather than ridsdales debt. Southampton have mostly kept their players and that's why they are at the top of this league, along with west ham who aren't short of money.

We are holding our own, so get behind the team and management....

Agree1 Disagree0

You are entitled to your views on my post "The Chickens are coming home to roost" but not to misattribute it. I am not "GJ". I do not think we should get Paynter and Grella back (who does?!). The defeat of Leicester was an excellent resuklt and a great tribute to Grayson's ability to remotivate teams after a setback. Well done to him. I still maintain that a lack of quality in the centre of defence and a lack of depth in midfield (especially if Howson leaves at Christmas) mean that we will not get promoted this year. Of course investment is risky! That's why there are significant rewards for those who take the risk and win.

think people need to get more realistic, yeah blackpool tore us a new a**ehole, but youre talking about a recently relagated team from the premier league that were very unlucky to go down, they only really lost 3 of their main players : Adam, Vaughn and Campbell, yeah people will mention west ham but in my view holloway is a much better manager than fergies bum-boy, were not gonna beat every team people so lets not have a which hunt over Grayson, i believe theres every chance we can get a result at Leicester because lets be honest theyre gonna do naff all this season, like Mcboro last season they spent spent spent and finished bottom half of the table, Leeds are still a working progress so i think we need to be patient, we spent 3 years in league one, Forest were promoted out of league 1 and theyre STILL in the championship so it shows what a tough division it is to get out of, so actually getting behind the team and the manager instead of calling for an unnessecary change, optimisim rather than pessimism

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Preston did the same and we had a good last season

Agree2 Disagree1

Well said mate. I think Leicester will get better though. NR

MOT

Agree2 Disagree2

Grayson will be sacked after the Burnley game if the fail in both games coming up without passion.
I still believe SG should takes the criticism for his transfer signings - if you put your hand in dog s**t its going to stink

Agree2 Disagree3

Be fair SG has had no funds to play with it's KB who should go. Surely some one would like to buy a team with the history we have?

Agree3 Disagree1

History counts for nothing. Bates won't go......sadly Grayson will be made a scape goat. In all honesty though some of his signings have been poor, his man management is shocking, his squad use is equally poor and his tactical use abysmal so not without fault.

Plus are we not forgetting his recent scandal?? A lot of fans seem to find this hilarious, but does a manager really need personal issues and thinking about knocking off some sort on the way of a high pressure job like his? Very unprofessional indeed

Agree2 Disagree1

Grayson won't be going anywhere, at least not just yet....

... of he does go then it will because we don't get into the top six at the end of the season.

You were all stating we'd get relegated this seasen...??

What annoys and upsets me the most is that as a season ticket holder, fan and supporter of Leeds I am completely in the dark ad to what the board, bates and graysons' aim and direction for Leeds united is.

The message that is being sent out to me between the lines is that we have no money, and the chairman is happy to see us tread water in the Championship. As fans we have the highest hopes. For me the Chairman has no where near those hopes.

Your West hams, baadiffs, blsckpools, Leicester and the like are showing their intent, whether it be through football, signings or loans.

Bates may have saved our club a million times, but he has a deep disregard for communicating with the fans, showing ambition or even setting out his aims.

If either bates or Simon just came out and said look, we're skint, doing best we can, but not looking for promotion then perhaps our expectations and dis-gruntled complaints wouldn't be as harsh!

Believable10 Unbelievable0

They cant do that mate because there would be a massive uproar with all the money spent on the East stand. NR

MOT

Agree1 Disagree1

If Bates is happy to tread water in this league and show very little ambition, then he needs to lower the price of matchday tickets so i can take the family - but paying £36 - £39 for a CAT A match just shows why attendances are dropping dramatically and will continue to plummet until a return in the fans investment is shown

Agree5 Disagree0

I'm rather gald Leeds aren't showing the intentions that Leicester are putting up...

... or don't you remember whar Ridsdale did to our club??

Ah yes, lets just buy all the top players, pay them top dollar and hope it works.....

If Leeds do get beat by Leicester 3-0 or over Grayson to be sacked on the two week international break, he would of ran out of ideas if the goalkeeper and defence are shocking!

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Didn't happen dit it, you doubters.........
