Just wanted to say another brilliant Leeds following we are the best fans in the football league {Ed013's Note - Well said, so can people stop the negatives and stick together, keep the faith and give the team time to work under new management. MOT}

Believable9 Unbelievable1

I agree Ed the rest of this season is the building blocks for next year, NW arrived at QPR 2 places from relegation places he guided them to safety the season after and £3.5 million spent on 9 players he achieved promotion!
NW is getting to know the squad as a whole and individuals and will clear out the dross, new permanent signings will be made, and we will not be reliant on loan players. NW only took the job on the proviso that he was heavily backed in the transfer market. People need to chill and get behind the teams.

Swap Snoddy back with McCormack, might be a possible solution to the goal drought?

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Just play paynter instead !

I would like to see Billy get a chance tbh.

How ironic is it that under Grayson we couldn't defend for toffee but we could score for fun and now under Warnock we have only conceded 1 goal in 3 games but haven't scored under him yet lol!

Need to beat boro for any hope of playoffs IMO!

MOT! {Ed013's Note -He is getting the balance right and when it clicks I see us hammering someone, hopefully the Hammers!}

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Original poster...

I agree, its clear things are improving Saturday was a prime example, we were very unlucky but also wasteful in front of goal too.

It will come, in a pessimistic way it may be good if it comes next season as opposed to this season, fresh ideas and faces in summer n come back ready for next season!

MOT!

Agree4 Disagree0

Warnock has had a hell of a mess to clear up, and just look at the confidence in the players, and the organisation of the team. It's not taken him much to turn them around. And when the goals start coming, we'll be one of the best teams to watch in the league.

He's not just brought in replacements, he's turned the team we've been hammering all season for their lack of ambition into a the players they all promised to be.

The goals will come my friends... the goals will come.

Let's be honest, under SG if we had been offered a 0-0 draw before the game we would've bitten their hand-off

I guess the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day. Ok I can't understand him not making more use of subs but I guess he knows what he's doing. We gave the ball away far too often and in the final third runout of ideas. We were scoring goals for fun before but also letting in just as many. WhenGeorge Graham came we stopped shping goals but couldn't score. Neils got til end of season to look at the balance and try a few changes, then in the summer bring in his own people ..........be patient it will come.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Its quite hard to bring subs on when the game is going at pace . you risk letting a goal in if the player you bring on doesn't get up to pace of the game fast enough.

That's it our season is over no chance of play offs,we will drop points sun,and will get beat against west ham,and finish mid table,poor poor season.feel a bit gutted 11 games to play and nothing to play for. {Ed013's Note - I cant believe all the negatives I am reading. Neil Warnock has come in and in 3 games stopped the defence leaking goals. You start from the back and eventually the goals will come. He has come in to a poor side, low on confidence and is currently in a period where he can build for next season and the play-offs would be a bonus. I understand people are disappointed, but think positive and hopefully next season will be our year}

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Another case of 3rd time lucky...

Agree1 Disagree1

Its all to play for,the rebuilding has already started,Ed was right,people expect miracles,we were a poor team and going nowhere,even with what we have NW has tightened the defence,the benefits will be seen next season,bit of faith and patience goes a long way MOT.

Agree6 Disagree0

It is definitely all to play for. Even if the playoffs become an mathematical imposibility, the rebuilding of the team is still worth playing for. He'll experiment, give players a chance to prove themselves. It gives Warnock the biggest pre-season he could possibly get in order to prepare the team for next year. If we finish on form, we'll go into next season full of confidence.

Warnock out! Ha ha only joking, the lads got to get used to neils system, just keep the support up, and well done SG maybe see you next season but the 6 points will be ours then

Another step away from the playoffs, other clubs in front of us winning and we expect to win 10 out of these last games? Highly unlikely! There's always next season, would of been nice to get in playoffs but doesn't look like it now!:(

Believable2 Unbelievable2

06 Mar 2012 21:46:27
0.0 full time if it wasnt for lonergan we would of got hammered

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Rubbish! Why post such negative factually incorrect nonsense? {Ed013's Note - I wasn't at the game so it will be interesting to read someone's views that was there}

Agree2 Disagree3

A decent point away at a good side, but not good enough in the grand scheme of things. We have played 2 more than most other play off hopefuls and with more tough fixtures ahead i think even the most optimistic of us will have to admit the play off's are out of reach. I look forward to next season though...with a new quality striker, winger and 2 more defenders we will be a major force!

Agree6 Disagree1

I WAS at the game and the original poster is right - everyone I spoke on the way out was saying the same thing too. We were awful - worse than most games under Larry. If we'd lost by 4 it would have been a fair result and only Lonner's heroics kept us in it. No doubt there will a load of disagrees and accusations of being negative to this comment but not from many who were actually watching I suspect.

I know this is not a transfer rumour but I cant beleive how quickly things feel differently at Leeds.
We now look, sound and feel like a big club again, early days I know but much has to be said for the feel good factor ! {Ed020's Note - totally agree with you, its a whole differant leeds utd with no new faces (except webber)}

Watched a couple of YouTube video s of Warnock tearing strips off teams in the changing room and post match interviews.
This bloke is brilliant.
If we lose, it won t be for a lack of effort. He simply won t stand for it.
Old school principles, players running through a brick wall for their gaffer, the team and the fans.
Win, lose or draw, that s the spirit.
Come on the mighty whites.... Get sum blud on yer boots.
Bring back David Batty. {Ed020's Note - great post, maybe went abit far on the batty comment ;)!!!}
