Great to see agent Clotet follow up his good work against the Florists by doing a job on Brizzle tonight. Hopefully he can continue his mission against the Bees next Saturday.

Good job he's doing it because we can't at the moment, expect more pain today.

I watched last nights game. Thought it might all go wrong when they went down after a minute, but it turned into a pleasant match.

Jude Bellingham asking Lee Johnson at the end; “who the eff are you? ” 😂😂😂.

Hearing that JKA played part against derby but didn't look sharp. So it may take another month before he match fit. Cud be too late.
Again this is the stupidity of our transfer approach, wait till last 4 days and then get in the players.
The Adams/ gray thing should have been sorted pre opening of window, can we have him yes or no? Move on, they knew it was opening and should have been talking re players in December.

Absolutely unfathomable that a team pushing promotion to be involved in a scenario like. this .

Melly You don't quite get it, do you? We got caught out, out thought and out manoeuvred. Our naivety prevented us from anticipating Eddie's recall. There was no guaranteed replacement arrangements except our best attempts. Can't see JKA firing on all cylinders until early April.

Sounds easy when you say it like that.

It’s a case of to little to late, the run in will prove us negative right unfortunately. Very sad season again by all counts.

08 Feb 2020 08:51:52
Bet Eddie wishes he was still here now.
Bielsa very clear that he was preparing the lad for a bigger role in the second half of the season. Knee jerk reaction from arsenal couldn’t be anticipated imo.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Feb 2020 09:53:24
George, not sure about the don't quite get it line. That’s my point, they shouldn’t have been out thought and maneuvered.
Orta should have been on top of this and taken measures, crazy doing deals in final week.
Think u stated Adams will happen, that one didn’t pay off.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Feb 2020 10:02:41
Guess it's easy at home to say get home buy that lad but its probably more complicated than buying your shopping.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Feb 2020 10:28:53
Well according to bielsa he stated that he never ever seen a more dedicated behind the scenes transfer window from Victor +his staff!

😂😂😂😂 Here's the upshot we got a player apparently so out of shape it's going to take a least a month to play him who scored 1 goal in 13 this season I think, Victor knows talent, Victor signs talent, Victor is very impressive at his job

And queue side splitting laughter.

Having a keen eye on how JKA gets on in the under 23’s this evening against Derby, here’s hoping he has a very successful injury free game. The sooner he gets his goal scoring boots on, ultimately the better for us.
Bit of payback time for the Rams 7-1 spanking we received from them recently.

I agree although going with adidas might be financially better for the club I think it is better to go with a brand that gives us bespoke designs. Adidas will give us the same jerseys and training wear that teams like watford Fulham Leicester and Sheffield get which is usually just plain black/ navy stuff with an ironed on badge.

Seen and heard a few people glowing about the arsenal game and how we should look at that game and play like that etc . Well we do play like that first half most weeks and we create and miss chances like we did in first half. Then the second half we hardly got a kick so I don't know where that comes from. We would be relegated if we played like that in prem . Missing chances then getting out played in second half. It's not a performance we want to strive to achieve at all in my opinion.

I am probably going to stir up a hornets nest, but I wanted to say a little more following my earlier "play the ball not the man post".

As I said, I know sod all about football which is why I enjoy seeing the differing opinions here and would hate everyone to agree.

The key point I was trying to make is that it is quite possible to put your own view forward, without there being any need to tell another poster/ posters that they are wrong.

By the way, I fully understand the irony of this comment, as many on both sides would consider that I am now telling them they are wrong.

I'll get down off my pulpit now and get back to the most important thing, supporting the only football team worth following in England. MOT.

1st - Leeds United
2nd - Fulham
3rd - West Brom
4th - Brentford
5th - Notts Forest
6th - Preston

Must be true!

Hoping for nine points from the next three games. However if the team remains similar to previous games with no new players coming in I suspect 3 points or less will be the most likely outcome. 6 points possible but unlikely,7 or more extremely unlikely. Phillips coming back against Brentford will help but Griffin park is not a happy hunting ground for us. Bristol on the other hand!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Feb 2020 10:03:46
Nine points would certainly settle the nerves a little. A couple of draws away and a home win would be a decent return from these three games.

The FA's disciplinary process and decision against Orta concluded in a week . oh the irony # Kiko.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is not quite the same. I can't believe some of the crap I am reading about the Kiko case. It is a sensitive issue, but it basically comes down to 'he said, she said'. They have to give all the people involved multiple interviews and check everything over and over to be sure. It takes a lot longer than a case where they have multiple eye witness accounts and is pretty cut and dried. The only real question with Orta was how strongly to punish him, not whether he was innocent or guilty.}

07 Feb 2020 11:09:23
Ed 001 sorry mate but re the Kiko case under employment law, Kiko would be sent home suspended on full play and the employer would conduct and conclude a full urgent disciplinary investigation within weeks not months.

It is over 4 months since the incident and it looks like another 3 months before a decision. utter nonsense from the FA.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I don't care what employment law says, it is irrelevant to this as it is not his employer conducting the inquiry. At least try and understand the actual facts of the matter. Leeds are his employer, this is the FA's investigation, not connected.}

07 Feb 2020 11:38:43
Yes Leeds is his employer . and yes Leeds have not. suspended him. it should be imperative of the FA to deal with this as a matter of urgency. not the 7 months they are going to take it seems .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - personally I would rather they took their time and got it right, instead of rushing it through. Not sure that it matters how long it takes.}

07 Feb 2020 12:01:24
Err actually Ed001 it does matter or should matter re amount of time especially to Kiko . he claims he is innocent . yet this is still hanging over him.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - then he would rather have the truth come out than a quick botched trial that only has half the facts, I am sure. If it was a court of law, it would take years to even come to trial.}

07 Feb 2020 13:12:50
ED1 John Terry was charged for exactly the same offence as Kiko ' racially abusing another player ' on 27 July 2012 and found guilty in a 4 day hearing exactly just TWO months later on 27 September 2012 .

As I said oh the irony.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - how is that irony? You do realise that every case is judged separately right? That every case is different? You really are just wasting everyone's time with a bitter rant about nothing. You do not even understand the word irony clearly. Perhaps you should just stop now and do us all a favour.}

07 Feb 2020 15:36:15
A rant Ed1 lol?
. bitter . lol nah.
