Paul Tisdale now being mentioned by David Prutton. I still think if we're going to go for a young hungry manager, it should be Danny Boy Cowley of Lincoln City. It may be a big step up but I'm sure he'd be up to the job and no I am not his agent or brother. Steve Evans was a hungry manager but it wasn't in the same context! While we're at it Sean Raggett (Lincoln City) would be a steal at £350k and is attracting interest from West Ham. Young centre half who could easily make the step up and replace Bartley. Will go for big bucks one day. Oh yeah, I am his brother and also his agent. MM

I'm going to be skint at this rate. Now Pardew is odds on to be our new gaffer. Karanka's gone out to 11/1, Tinkerbell 4/1 and Pep 10/1. Unusual one for you, Jaap Stam? @ 7/2, where did he come from?

Pardew will knock my faith in radz from 100% to 95%. Was hoping for better and foreigner! However. Willing to give pardew a go! Ish!

Would take Pardew over Stam any day. Very few top managers or coaches will be prepared to drop into the second tier so you're looking at a hard bitten Championship old hand or an upcoming young un wishing to make a name for himself.

The man who scouted hatem Ben arfa, loic remy, benteke, zags and more. He loves a skilful player and a quick striker. I don't think his intentions are negative, and I think he likes to play stylish modern football, just hasn't been given the backing at palace or the funding at Newcastle. Rads making it clear that he has long term commitment and ambitions so I get the impression that whichever manager we go for, it will be one who's willing to stick around and not just looking for a quick fix CV enforcer. Pardew knows the premier league, so IF we get there I think this is rads' intention. Just hoping he's not naïve to sweet talkers and money grabbers.

Looks like Pardew then? Our own shirt sponsors have him at odds on! 😕. Never been keen on Pardew, seems very egotistical to me, but got to give him a chance to prove me wrong if he gets the job.

Am i being too impatient? Should be fairly solid rumours about new manager now. I know there is no rush but he needs to be appointed so that new players can be discussed and in by pre-season. Did rad mistakenly think monk was a done deal and didn't have plan b in place? Deja vu! ? Preseason i believe mm is in bognor regis!

Maybe a tad slow to recruit but the lack rumours is due to the club keeping things close to their chest. To be fair to Cellino, the club has kept tight lipped about it's operations for the past 12 months, Radrizanni is continuing in the same way. Nothing wrong with that.
