Just watched 1994 match on YouTube against Man Utd and Carlton Palmer played CB and excellent at that.
Just wondering why he was such an unpopular figure at ER?
By the way we actually won 2-1.

I think Palmer got some stick from some Leeds fans because he was kind of a replacement for fans favourite David Batty so never going to be a favourable comparison.

good point bV plamer was a good player but batty was top class and a fans favorite.

I liked Palmer but fans got frustrated that he never really reproduced the form that he showed for Wednesday.
