Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

07 Mar 2017 22:22:03
Everyone can and has worked out how we play now. play the same formation as us and we can't really cope. QPR will set up to play us in that way on Saturday, nothing will be surer, so to me it makes sense to spend the next few days working on a few new things and start in maybe a 4, 3, 1, 2 formation. they would be taken by surprise and it would take them a while to figure us out again. That's why we're aren't dominating games as we did earlier in the season.

I'm starting to think George had you tagged all along. Surely not? Just your recent posts are a tad negative and almost anti. You are obviously a master tactician with your claims other teams have us well sussed. Maybe soon they will suss out how to beat us!

You may doubt my support if you want, that's your prerogative, but I know I have been a diehard fan for 25 years! What worries me more than anything else is over confidence! There are so many examples throughout history where over confidence has become the biggest enemy of teams, people, armies etc! I am in no way saying I don't love our beloved club and are over the moon with our position, however some people are starting to think that we have a Devine right to win every match and think that we can keep relying on other teams missing chance after chance! And yes wex we hit the post and missed a few chances, which reinforces my other point that with wood we are a bit toothless up front!

Curahee I have to think that your nitpicking our last to games have been good results by anyone's standards but you choose to have a pop. And your I told you so attitude is delusional. 4 points from our last 2games is a good return. Just a quick taught is there anything positive you took from these results

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2017 07:53:57
I think most of us said we would be happy with a draw last night, and are happy with it. The point is that on top form we can beat any team in the league. However, we haven't been on top form for ages but still are in 4th, and grinding out some great results. It's the team spirit that's going to get us into the playoffs, and then anything can happen. Teams don't need to suss out how we play, it's not really a secret. But they haven't been able to stop Wood scoring and when they are on form they can't handle the likes of Hernandez, Pedraza etc

Hi Curahee, you have shared your opinion you posted it! I wrote the other day how I enjoy reading everyone's opinion on here, I do find with yours you have made some really good points re the formation and scoring regularly without Wood. But then I thought Speedy made the perfect response with regards to our spirit being the reason we remain firmly in the playoffs picture. I believe you have posted some excellent points but you are being a little over sensitive when people to not go on to endorse your points or place a contrary view? It's just Banter, clues in the title 😁 I mean I know Aus loves Wood ( don't! ) I know Berm loves Speedy (and visa Versa) I know MM is our fashion guru
I know Martyn always makes me smile
I know Wex was spot on correct about MC and GFH
I know Lucas is our master tipster ££££ And I'm a dumb son of a €$%# I only know this because I'm an avid reader of this Banter Site, and love it. So please keep contributing, but don't take it so seriously it really is just banter, and who'd of thought we would be "worried" about slipping out of the playoffs at the start of the season. It's just a fantastic season, wherever we end up from here based upon the circumstances Monkey joined us on the squad we started with it will have been the best season we've enjoyed for a very very long time πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» MOT

sorry but some are being harsh to cuagree, 4 points is good some oparts of our game are great however some are worrying and i can see what cuagree is saying. no one can say that over the last 180 minutes we ain't been lucky both games could of been 5-1 however they were not. we don't seem to attack much but when we do we look threatningso it is hard to call however i agree we are to deep and don't have enough of the ball and when we have it we don't always look like we know wahat we are doing with it. if pllaying hudds or brighton in play off final i would worry that said i would not be shocked if we won so it is hard to call and judge i guess. either eway what a season and improvement long may it continue

Got to say for me, this was a great point tonight, certainly would have settled for a point beforehand. When you consider, Fulham are the current form team of the Championship, we were missing Wood and Ayling. AND Berm was in attendance, great result watched by magnificent supporters. Lastly, once more shows our level of progression over Monkey and his team. Gutted for the lads especially the defence, wonderful to see Charlie back too.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Mar 2017 22:50:32
Wex you said yourself we had luck. we can't keep relying on luck to get us points! in the last two games we've been outplayed and luck has stopped us loosing both. Now I didn't say we weren't playing decent football, but we must tighten up! if it wasn't for the post and green they could have had 4, as could Birmingham on Friday. Surely you can't be so blinkered to see that! We just need to tighten up in the middle of the field and find someone else to score goals! beleive me this can't last like this and we will soon enough get an absolute spanking, arsenal style unless we do! Yes a point is a good result, but we just got a point! It wasn't like it was their first and only shot went in! then I'd feel had done by. they hit the post, that ball clearly went in off the bar and green made about 5 fantastic stops!

Agree wex. Fulham are in great form and very hard to beat at home at present. And tbh even if wood had played. I'd been happy coming away with a point. 3 points at home to QPR next time up. Who have actually picked up in form recently so won't be easy but our home form is great . so positive thinking with a positive outcome. πŸ‘βš½πŸ˜ƒ

Don't think there is any reason to be down hearted after tonight's point. Which was a great point against an inform Fulham away from home with a few regulars missing. The boys dug deep as you would expect away from home. And tbh it shows what it meant to the Fulham players to get a point off us as they celebrated like they'd secured promotion. So up next 3 points against an improving QPR team . πŸ‘βš½βš½πŸ˜ƒ

Hard to tell when one striker is doing so well and playing nearly 100% of the time what would happen if he didn't play, who knows who might or might not step up to the mark. It can change the whole set up and style so can sometimes still work out. Fingers crossed we will be ok tonite.

Ok wex, here it goes, let's see if Ed033 posts this unedited. Hot off the wikileaks website and Donald Trump has confirm that this site is definitely being secretly tapped. King of Ed's, Ed001 is having a secret affair with the coolest Ed, secret spy Ed007. This has been going on for approximately two years now and could go a long way to explaining why those two are very rarely seen together in the same chat room, they don't want to arise suspicion. Now, then there's the wizard Ed, Ed033, who has had his suspicions ever since the works xmas do. When they both sneaked off into the stationary cupboard, Ed001 came out first, then Ed007 came out about 10 mins later with his hair looking strangely freshly combed. By all accounts Ed033 is also very jealous of Ed001's reign and has thought to announce their little dirty secret so he can have a chance at ruling this banter site.

{Ed033's Note - Ron Goldman friend of Nicole Brown Simpson, who was stabbed to death with [probably] one of OJ Simpson's son's chef knives that Oj Simpson's son carried around with him.

Looks like ayling and wood could be missing tonight, woods got a knock and ayling wife's about to drop. Looks like it could be Taylor LB and the super versatile beradi at RB and roofe or anttonson up front, hope it's not Duke up front on his own. He's just not a lone striker.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

07 Mar 2017 14:12:56
looks like the curse of bermondsey white has struck my two favourite players both out! hope its not douk up front he is certainly not a lone striker he is barely a attacking player let alone a lone one. Hope it will be roofe but doubt it as a big fan of roofe i suspect he will not play such is my curse.

still kind of hopeful berardi very good on right and taylor back offers so much. wood is massive but we did well last couple of games and maybe barrow up front as he can play there, is very different to wood but is a good player so might be a cheeky surprise?

Myself, I'd like to see Roofe play up front with Ant on the bench. It was Douk up front with Roofe as the 10, strangely Ayling, Bartman, Pontus and Berardi at the back

Given Taylor's form before his injury, Berardi's form and effort now and Taylor's transfer aspirations I would keep Berardi at left back. I would play either Pedroza or Barro instead of Sacko depending how things have been going in training. Are Wood and Ayling available for the fixture tonight?

Looks like we have been dealt a blow, rumours that Wood is injured. This could be a perfect opportunity to play with pace on the counter. Fulham play good football, so like at Birmingham we could be under a lot of pressure. I would give Hernandez a break he is almost 32 and we will need him fit and ready to unlock stubborn teams at home, on recent performances a rest would do him the world of good. I would go with Bridcutt holding, Viera and Philips in front of him, a solid 3. Try Roofe as 9 where I personally think he would excel, with Barrow and Ped wide. By resting Hernadez it should make the middle of the park stronger which in turn should reduce the amount of work the wingers need to do defensively, allowing them to play high up the pitch. Fast balls out wide with the Roofe, Barrow and Ped running at you would scare any defence. I would release Viera a bit, tell him I want you box to box, every time we are wide I want you in there box causing problems, let him use his athleticism. This would result in one of there midfielders been dragged out of position which would give Phillip’s a bit more time to play the passes. Smash and grab victory would be ideal for us tonight
