Hi Ed how can GFH not be liable for the debts when they have just announced massive profits? Why should MC pay all the debts They ran up when they clearly Have a great deal of money? How could LUFC be in so much debt when GFH were making huge profits? It doesn't add up? Once more are progress is being hampered by people who clearly don't give a dam about our great Football Club. {Ed013's Note - They were in for a quick buck and unfortunately Cellino has taken the debts on so he has his work cut out}

But surely if GFH still own 25%, they are as liable as Cellino?, why should he foot the bill without GFH helping to clear the debts, summat drastically wrong somewhere,

Agree0 Disagree0

Making profits and taking loans are 2 separate things. You can have millions of pounds of loans and still make huge profits. It is only interest on the loans that will reduce those profits.
It is the company that is then liable to repay the loans. As the company have no cash then the shareholders may want to put cash in. MC can therefore either lend money to the club or buy new shares. This latter course would dilute the other shareholders' minority stake.
I am, as always, boring but technically accurate.

Welcome home Norwich .
I don't think snoddy will be visiting ER next season though

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oh I feel sooo bad for johnson, howson and Snodgrass left for Premiership football to better their career. I feel so sorry for them. F. ing not. slap it up em. I wonder who they will crawl to next. and before I am slated by Snodgrass and Howson supporters. they had a choice They sold us out for the money. at least becford stayed till the end of the season and got us promoted.

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's hope they want Morrison back

Agree0 Disagree0

None of them ever earned a place in the premiership anyway they took the easy way out and have been found out as I see it we only made their team worse with Johnson and howson. Hoolahan used to run rings round the pair of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

These comments are absurd. We all know that we would have performed better had we kept Snodgrass, Howson and Johnson. We have had no player who has been more effective in midfield since they left. And we were much more enjoyable to watch with those guys in the side; in League 1.

Agree0 Disagree0

Same could be said for Kewell (heartless aussie) but that means nothing once a player sells his soul for a lousy 5 grand, when, if they had stayed we might have got promotion anyway. they mean nothing to us

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds is our passion, hobby etc however if ken bates bought the company you work for then brought in Neil warnock as your manager- would you be tempted to change job?
Just a thought guys

All in the past - let's look forward I don't know anyone who wouldn't move jobs if it broadened their portfolio and earned them more money! A player is as loyal as his las wage packet! Regardless of what anyone says!

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not so sure norwich are down. Can see a last minute houdini.

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't be playing against Snoddy next season another prem club will snap him up he has been their best player most of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Snodgrass indicated to Celtic in January he wanted to move back home and sign for them. The clubs couldn't agree a deal but I expect the move to go through in the summer.}

Last minute miracle needed more like they need a 10 goal swing or more

Agree0 Disagree0

These guys are career professionals not Leeds United fans. It's quite a simple concept.

They did the right thing for their careers and families and there isn't a single one of you who, in the same position, would not have done exactly the same thing.

Grow up FFS.

ivo pulgar talking about The 23-year-old Colombian (victor ibarbo) who has scored four goals and provided three assists in 28 Serie A matches this season and has been linked with a move away from the Rossoblu.

"He has great potential, he is young and can play in many roles, " Pulga told Sky Sport Italia after Cagliari's recent 3-0 defeat to Napoli.

"He has a bright future, if he is not ready yet he is very close to being so. If not next year, maybe the next one, though Cagliari is also a big team." seems to me he has resigned himself to loosing victor this summer to I believe LUFC. MOT

(David Haigh and his company)

Served a statutory demand for over £950,000 owed to them by LUFC, he said he loaned it to the club to help them survive when GFH were in charge.
The winding up order is scheduled for the second week in june 2014.

MC has made NO comment on the subject, another reason ER buy back is on hold.

(Its NO wonder GFH made a profit, borrowed from everyone and paid noone)

GFH get out of our club ALTOGETHER please.

I see Mr D Haigh has shown his true colours.

I thought he was leaving his loan to convert to shares for leeds supporters.

It like the "the night of long knives"

There all crawling out from the woodwork to claim their pound of flesh.

What they must remember is. they can't draw blood.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He actually showed his true colors from the start. The Man Yoo tweet, the broken promises, the failure to engage the fans, his political ambitions, his treatment of other directors, his two facedness. He didn't fool me. He was in it for the money and to raise his profile. He was self-serving!

Just a thought.

If Massimo owns Leeds and Cagliari and he recently sacked their manager.
Why doesn't he send MacD to manage them and get us a NEW manager, thus saving paying him off?
If he doesn't want to go then he can resign saving Massimo some cash.
I'm sure it goes comes under employment law that if you get 'relocated' you either take it of leave doesn't it?
I'm think that's how companies got out of paying staff off these days.

P.S. while he's on he can send them some of our dross players ;-P

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I doubt it would be possible because when McD signed with leeds it was with GFH not Cellino. I think McD would be willing to negotiate a settlement if Cellino does decide he doesn't want him

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe MC believes there is a role even if it's not manager/coach for BMd. Chief scout and general advisor without portfolio is the role I'd put him in. He is still useful. Let's not waste money paying him off when he can still do good somewhere. Question of new coach still remains. MC will clearly want a continental feel. Could Glenn Hoddle fit the bill with his knowledge here and overseas?

I think if Matt Smith works on his fitness in the summer and loses a stone it will help him greatly, he will then be able to leap and attack balls, as I think he looks a little bit heavy, also we need to put the crosses in front of him and play to his strengths more than we did this season, 2 decent proper wingers in Ibarbo on the right and Snodgrass back on the the left (cos Norwich are coming down Lol) and smithy will be top scorer next year for sure, mark my words! Bring on the new season! Regards Dj

I agree he looks a bit chunky, half a stone may do the job though! Can't see Snodgrass leaving the top flight to be honest, can imagine him going somewhere like Celtic or Everton.
