It seems as if MC is the type of person who constantly needs to be told how great he is. This type of person is usually full of self doubt and the type that uses superstition to make decisions ie no.17, purple etc.
As we have won the two games where he has been absent I've got a feeling he will feel the reason we have won was because he wasn't there.
If he stays away until the end of the season I will gladly bow down and give him all the
adulation he deserves at Wembley when we win the play off final.
I for one am grateful for what he has done and would like to thank him for loving our club as much as we do.

Trust the "coach" to bring in the right players, pick the team and set the tactices. The club structure needs to be right and all will be fine.

Steve Evans I am the first to admit I can't understand three quarters of what you are saying. No matter, the fourth quarter is completely comprehensible - kind of endearing and obviously getting results! Watching what you are doing with interest :)

A good 3 points today in an always impoRtant derby.
All thro I kept one eye on Wood and am still unconvinced that he deserves his place. As an outlet he was far too easily beaten in the air and also for a big man far too easily knocked off the ball. Yes I know he got a goal but it was a lucky rebound that even MadMick could have put away (sorry Michael you may well have the feet of Messi for all I know) . I am ecstatic that we won but I still have the niggling feeling that over 90mins the better team may have lost? MOT.

Just to put you in the picture leodis, I played Sat league and Sun league football at a decent level for 20 years with eight different teams and captained each one. I think I was more a combative midfielder/gobshhh than striker aka Batty, so yes, I would have missed it lol!

If Cellino can set aside his throwing toys out of pram demeanour he may realise more by luck than judgment he has appointed an actual manager rather than a tinpot coach and this manager not only has a bit of tactical nous he can get players "fired up". This is what has been truly lacking. Can you imagine what happens if we keep winning and enjoy a productive transfer window?

Start going about your business quietly stay in the background and let the football do the talking, the best chairman are rarely seen or heard, do that and in 6 months you may well have EARNED our respect, it does not come by demand, if you find it impossible to do that then find us someone who can. Ket, I agree with you 100%. I'm in the pro Massimo camp (but by Christ he infuriates me at times) because I believe he wants it just as much as we do, it's just that his Italian-ness gets in the way. If he just backed off then we're still on to a winner.

I've always been pro massimo and still think he has a chance of turning it too, but like you he drives me up the wall, I know he wants to be seen as the saviour of Leeds and I truly hope he is, but ACTIONS speak louder than words Massimo.

You guys are right re italianess getting in the way, my partner has an Italian mum and she can go well nuts over nothing very much at all and then after a 5 minute rant goes back to her English side.

I do think a lot of what MC says is from a Italian perspective and he doesn't speak great English but agree he never knows when to shut up.

But without his money we would be worst off for sure and from my point of view I don't really care about any owner as such as long as he invests in the team and runs us well from a finance point of view so we still have a club to support. I'm not that interested in what he says because he always changes his mind about stuff so you can't really believe what he says anyway as will have changed his mind in a couple of days.

That is all great for the papers of course but not what it should be about, I. e. The team, how we play, formation, manager tactics, who we need to buy etc etc, the fact MC has a runaway mouth doesn't really interest me that much anymore as you know he is going to do mad stuff. I just hope big Steve makes sure the players know what to do on the pitch cause none of this recent paper talk re takeovers by fans ( never going to happen) should effect the team.
