You only get out of game what you put in let's keep marching on together one game at a time hard game at Cardiff but we can do it the bub will sort it.

Niel Harris is a man that riled me and makes me salty just by looking at him, he doesn’t even have to open his mouth to make my skin crawl.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 09:24:37
harris is useless manager but his teams are set up to give leeds a game every time. I am praying he comes unstuck.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 10:31:41
Cardiff have a player Tomlin who appears to turn into a world beater every time he plays against us, similar to Wallace at Wall!

Never forget Harris screaming to have the screens at the Den turned off when they had just scored from a blatant hand ball, Harris and Kinnear definitely cut from the same cloth.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 12:24:24

Blooming eck watching the Devon derby, how much of time is in play? So much diving faking injury deliberate time wasting. Think the Championship is a better spectacle, watching Leeds play definitely is!

Evening all. I suspect that one or two of you on here might have noticed that I am not top flight pundit material. I do try, but at the end of the day, I mostly talk a load of tripe when assessing things, but I am pretty bloody certain that we've been playing Ayling and Bamfs in each other's positions all season.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

09 Mar 2020 07:02:46
Seems that way of late doesn't it?

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 09:25:19
have to give the others a chance, that's why we have also been playing Kiko in goal when clearly he thinks he is a number 8.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 19:39:02
I like to think I'm a positive geezer. But if we lose to Cardiff and then Fulham, then the gap to third could be one point. Ain't going to happen though? Personally I'd take two points from them two games.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

08 Mar 2020 20:37:30
Long way to go Corky, that’s for sure!
This point last year we had 2 more points!
Just saying!

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 20:53:19
DSW, we were also only 2 points clear of third place, this year we're 7 clear. A massive gap, not only numerically but phycologically as well. I honestly think the chasing pack aren't looking at catching us but just concentrating on staying or getting in the play off places.
💙💛💙👍.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 07:16:26
Fair point Danum, hopefully the chasing pack will as you say start worrying about each other and subconsciously even let us go! Fingers crossed 🤞🏾.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 09:28:20
difference is (i think) our mentallity. i thought last year would make us crumble again but it looks like we have learnt from it.

also last year the division for me was a lot stronger, we have sheff utd who looked unbeatable, norwich who were playing like they were already promoted and villa who where on a role

this year you have west brom crumbling, forest stuttering and fulham who look maybe the best but still dropping points. That for me is helping us as we are getting confident from others falling rather than look over shoulder at team winning every week adding more pressure.

09 Mar 2020 10:40:41

Jay Roy Grot scored a worldy yesterday, showing pace, power and clinical finishing.
Am I the only one who hopes he comes back and proves his worth in the same way Klich has?

I’d take Cibicki back if he could do a job on his wages!
It’s funny but Bielsa had Klich out of the first team squad originally but due to a few injuries brought him in pre season. Strange how stuff can work out.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 22:47:48
I thought Klich was only outside the first team squad for first week or so of that pre-season with a few others like Ideguchi, but was brought in because he'd shown enough in training to merit a second look - on his own merits, not due to others being injured, albeit Bielsa then initially tried to turn him into a CB. However it was injury to Forshaw at the end of pre-season that saw Klich promoted to the first 11 - and there he has stayed ever since.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Mar 2020 08:27:54
You may be right there Clueless. I just remember Klich training with the fringe squad originally and then being brought in.

llian was a spectator! in fact we could have stuck Berm in nets with one arm tied behind his back and he would still keep a clean one!

Does anyone have any stats about how many times we have hit the woodwork this season? It seems to happen nearly every game. I think they should make the goals a few cm smaller at Thorpe arch.

I recognise Cardiff and Fulham look particularly tough games, our most dangerous rival and any team put out by the odious Neil Harris.

But I really don’t see it different to ANY team we have left to play. I know my own nervousness and anxiety is based partly on last season and the length of time out of the top flight.

However, who honestly thought Wigan would beat us and WBA away? We have seen every single week that anybody can beat anybody in this league, anyone.

Rather than look directly at opposition I believe a more accurate indicator is our own form. When we lost at home to Snakes team and Wigan all of us knew the boys were not performing as they can.

But we are now, we are without a doubt the best performing team in the division and despite Fulham almost at make or break or Cardiff needing it for a playoff spot. Fulham are not at their optimum just now, Cardiff’s win yesterday was their first in five games.

So sitting firmly on top of my nervousness and anxiety at this level of performance we can win every game we have left. Momentum is huge and coupled with our full mojo back, it’s really about maintaining it, really changes very little who we play it’s what we do.

I firmly believe we WILL win our next two and remain unbeaten for our remaining fixtures.
My predictions are on form too just now.

#get promotion done.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

08 Mar 2020 12:21:26
I agree. We are at our best and I don’t fear Fulham or Cardiff although both tough games.
We are finally converting more and scoring earlier. Once that started we were unbeatable.
If a team can hold out against us for an hour. They got a chance. If not. Bye bye.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:30:06
Class, I don’t see are last 9 games as easy as some believe, just take a look at the results of some yesterday, Stoke, Swansea still think we need to be at our best, bet you they will all be playing as if they were in a FA cup final.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:39:33
The reason I think they are tougher games is that they have more quality. We are doi g well currently against poorer opposition like we did before Christmas but when we met better teams we struggled. It's one thing to do it against the bottom half clubs but another against the likes of Fulham. We played poorly against Wigan and lost but Filham are capable of beating us even if we play well. I like your point but can't agree with it bud. Draw the next 2 and I will be happy. Win them and i firmly believe there will be no stopping us. Ftr I don't think Cardiff are as good but will be a nightmare at their place.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:47:44
Agree Harris knows how to set up steam to play us and Fulham are a good side but it is not about them it’s about us and touch wood we don’t look like same old leeds falling apart again

Still a tough league and anything can happen look at Wigan that deflate made me so angry but they did the same to Brom which makes its a lot easier to seillow.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 20:13:01
I agree Whiiteman my point is Luton will be just a tough a test as Cardiff or Fulham but playing as we are now we CAN win every single game, whether we maintain the form?

I believe we will, but your absolutely right Whitman our run is no easier than Fulham or WBA the only difference is our form is better than theirs.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 11:39:04
Heres the thing the game that could define our season is one we won't be involved in brom v Fulham.

That is all we can do Easter fixtures looks challenging but one step at a time you can not get any higher than top so I think we may as well stay there but i think Fulham will drop a lot ofpoints.

Lads we have all been watching this league along time is there an easy game and the teams lower down are fighting for survival rather than mid table teams who might just cruise till the end of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 11:45:35
Baadiff, Swansea and Blackburn plus Fulham will be tough for us too.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:09:04
And Derby will certainly not be cruising against us even if they're still in mid-table, with nothing to fight for.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:42:57
Nobody cruises against us. They all want our scalp.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 08:52:35
Cautiously optimistic this morning. As others have said, it seems to be down to three for the top two spots, and Fulham still have to play all four rivals in the top five (with on fire Brentford next up at home and the other three being away from home) , having just struggled with the low hanging fruit of Brizzle and Preston.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

08 Mar 2020 10:49:55
You can' t rule out Brentford just yet. they may be more of a danger than Fulham. Brentford have Fulham away and Baggies at home in next games .2 big games.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:04:15
Indeed - only said it SEEMS to be down to three. Not totally discounting the Bees, of course almost anything can happen with 27 points up for grabs. The next two sets of fixtures could be quite pivotal.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Mar 2020 12:44:14
All the way down to mid table anyone could go on a late surge. It's so, so close down there.
