I would say the academy is still producing quality players, but not to the standard of what they were 10/15 years ago, the likes of Milner, smith, Delph, etc. we are still producing quality players now like Dawson, Thompson, mowatt. But the difference between then and now is they were all given a fair crack at making the team week in week out so we go to see them playing on a weekly basis unlike now where we seen Dawson once he played well and haven't seen him since, sorry it's long haha, out

You must have been watching a different Dawson to me. I thought he was awful when Warnock played him.

Our youth team seems to tear up their opposition most of the time players like Walters, Parkin, Stokes, Mulhern, cook and denton I reckon deserve their shot in league cup next year. But I think its unrealistic to expect that we can produce more Milners and Lennons when we are where we are for so long.

Saw leeds in a preseason friendly at burton albion where paddy Kenny was between the sticks, his language was disgusting. "f" this, "f" that. most directed at his own players. Clearly audible to the young kids and family's watching, sooner you get rid of a player with standards as low as his the better!

An even better reason for getting rid is that he's a very poor goalkeeper. Decent shot stopper but every other aspect of his game is weak.

Paddy Kenny is the vampire of goalkeepers. frozen by fear and dread when confronted by crosses.

Is that original post genuine?!?!?! Get rid of a player because he swears when he's playin?!?!?! Getta grip! If you think he should go because you feel his rubbish then fair enough but because he swears during a game is one of the daftest things I've heard in a while!

Sorry Phil h but you've really mugged yourself off there. If we judged all players on their use of the English language we wouldn't have a game to watch and by the way don't worry about the kids, you should stand outside a school at home time!

Hes like Warnock I never like him before and I groaned when we signed him. Then you give him a chance because he's now Leeds like Warnock but flopped admirably, and I'm back to disliking him intensly get him out useless

GFH must've understood. When they took over one journo asked if they were going to be the fans savior and that could result in them being addicted to heroism. Guess they misunderstood. They misunderstood many things.

All those who think we are going to sign Ibarbo in the summer need to have a reality check. Ibarbo is currently being scouted by Juventus and it was rumoured last year that Barcelona were interested in him. In the world cup it is likely that he will get a starting spot in the Colombia national team which will put him further in the shop window. First and foremost Cellino is a business man and would find it difficult to refuse a transfer bid of over £10 million for the player. It should also be considered that the player may have ambitions of playing for a top flight club in the major european leagues rather than roughing it in the championship. I would love him to come to Leeds but I just can't see it happening

May not happen but not impossible cellino does own the player and he does pay his wages does he not? never know in football

Have to agree with Notts even if MC did try to make it happen Ibarbo would be very unlikely to want to come

David Haigh being interviewed by Police under caution with regard to theft. No wonder Massimi doesn't want to pay him!

It's not theft it's about misapproation of funds

Someone prob His lordship used Leeds United money to pay for surveilence equipment at ER but whoever it was (Haigh) got the invoice to say it was for something else.
So it's ok to take photos in the bog but it might be illegal to take the piss.

Misappropriation is basically theft, its in the definition. If I use money from my works account to buy something not appropriate for my company then I have basically stolen it. It would be made clearer if I had tried to cover it up also. I.e paper trails

Its about drugs or (in my opinion) big Dave using it as a smokescreen (almost humour) to try and cover why he spent the cash on the cameras. As the MD he does/did have the right to act in the best interests of the club as a duty of being a Director. He isn't going to say well I was trying to find out info on any rivals or for anything else now is he, hard to prove one way or the other methinks

It's his cash and he will spend it wisely not like GFH did.
I've posted this story before and he will personally oversee every pound spent.
Of course players will be offered to him by the coaching staff but nobody will be allowed to buy anyone but him.

Byron Moore(Crewe) and Jonathan Grounds(Oldham) both leaving their clubs, haven't we been linked with both in the past?

also see that Max Clayton is out of contract at Crewe, only 19 and is highly rated,
