Wage bill rose in 2013/14 from 70% of turnover to 89% of turnover. Obviously since then we've offloaded plenty of high earners, but we still have far too many players who have Bates and GFH contracts at the club. Lord knows how much appearance fees/win bonuses they have inserted in them.
Well the win bonuses won't be costing us much, sadly

For me it was a great but disappointing day! disappointing obviously because of the result, but great because it was THE day I first clapped eyes on my Beloved Leeds as a 9 year old boy my mum said which team do you want to win son? I said the team in White look good I want them to win! 41 years later and I'm still besotted!! I shudder to think what would have happened if I'd chosen the other team LOL!! MOT Boys n girls Bring on the Mc badgekisser lol
I remember as a 7 year old crying my eyes out when Chelsea beat us in 1970 but in '73 I must have been more philosophical because it didn't bother me as much.
Even as a 10 year old I remember thinking we're the best team in the country and we'll win the FA Cup again loads of times in my lifetime.
