Think it’s safe to say that we will absolutely not be buying the likes of Bowen or Gayle in Jan.
All I can see are a possible one or two loan deals, not sure for which positions, maybe keeper stand in for Castilla if he is banned?! or a possible replacement for Nketiah if he wants to leave.
What I would love to see is Radz finding a way to to secure a transfer for White.
Think Bowen will be a big threat tomoz but relying on our excellent defense to hold him a bay.
1-0 Klich.

If Eddie does go back. I feel we will get Brewster from Liverpool. Not a bad replacement tbh. I feel a 2-0 again tonight. Bam bam and Dallas. ⚽️⚽️👍👍💙💛.

OP - unless Nketiah, or more likely Clarke, are recalled it would seem safe to say we are unlikely to make any loan signings next month, as we're already in the position where at least one cannot make the matchday squad. I guess there might be another option to free up a loanee space by making an existing one permanent in Jan. Most likely of those would seem to be Meslier, presumably being much cheaper than Harrison or Costa.

OP Brighton have stated today to us and pool that white is under no circumstances for sale to anyone and told them to forget it.

Martyn, think that’s Brighton saying if you want this player you’ll have to make an offer well over his value! His contract with Brighton ends at the end of this season, it’s my belief Brighton will sell to the highest bidder.

December games look interesting. Think next three games are crucial for Fulham to push on. Away to PNE and Brentford not easy. If we can widen gap before we play them think they will be feeling the pressure. Would settle for the draw against them but would fancy us to beat them. Think we will extend our unbeaten run into new year then its onwards and upwards. Can some one slip Bowen some laxatives before the match please.

Just hope that we are sitting a comfortable second come January. Let the Baggies take the pressure of top spot. So long as we have a 15 point gap to third I will be happy.

The more I think about it, the more I can see Bielsa being able to find a place for Bowen. as he seems to be playing more in the number 10 role now. Pablo can play there but shouldn't be given that burden for the remainder of the season and while Tyro can be great there when fit and firing, unfortunately he's rarely fit long enough to find form.

However, even if Bielsa/ Orta had Bowen in their sites, for us to have any chance of convincing the lad to switch, I'd of thought we need to find a way to keep him and Grosiski quiet tomorrow and get another precious win.

You will recall their win at ER lastDecember ended our best run of results last season, so it would be particularly galling for similar to happen this time round.

Of course, last year's defeat came during the period when KP had been switched to CB to cover for Coops, with Forshaw coming in DM, which ended with KP being sent off next game, at the florist's.
Both of Bowen's goals came from Grosiski crosses, with Bowen following up on the rebound, taking advantage of a combination of defensive lapses and BPF shortcomings. For the first, Jansson failed to cut out the cross and from the knockdown, KP affectively passed weakly to Bowen for him to sweep it home at BPF's near post. The second was on a fast counter started by Bowen winning the ball back on the touchline level with his own penalty area. Douglas, then Jansson (again) failed to cut out the cross and when BPF weakly parried the initial shot there was Bowen to finish it off.
I hope Alioski's performance on Saturday convinces Bielsa to keep him in the starting line up, with Ayling deputising for Coops if necessary and Dallas on the right. With White and KP back in their rightful places and hopefully another good performance from Casilla we may have a better chance of at least limiting the damage so if we can score a couple we have a chance of securing the points.
Going back to the prospects or otherwise of us going in for Bowen next month, of course Newcastle are being touted again as keen to snap him up, with the Canaries also sniffing around - why always those two. If QSI investment/ takeover was truly in the offing, we could perhaps hold them off, with the possibility of Champions League with PSG if things didn't take off quickly enough with us. However, if Leicester's fans get their way and Rodgers comes calling, I guess we'd be totally out of the picture, given they're already almost nailed for a CL spot next year.

Bowen would be a tremendous buy. We'd be seriously dangerous with him in the side. I'm hoping he stays where he is in January then we pick him up in the summer.

Said in summer get Bowen and Gayle. Doubt we would get him now so for me Eze would benefit the way we play but he would prob cost too much. I do not expect us to spend much money this window prob loans with a to buy clause.

What is Bowen’s market value these days? I agree he would be an ideal addition, but weren’t PL clubs sniffing around him at about £18mill? Might be getting mixed up again tho, knowing me! And is it right that his contract is up this summer?

Yes bright his contract is up in the summer and no sign yet that either Hull have offered another or he has refused to sign one. It's unlikely they will want him to go for nothing or run down his contract, So maybe he will be sold in January.

Mezzanine Hull have a genuine chance at the playoffs. Wouldn't surprise me if they retain Jarrod until May.

Cheers Mezzer. Might be a possibility then, if we are willing to have a splash!

Danny Mills has said that Eddie Nketia is Leeds biggest disappointment this season.

Danny Mills needs to do one. decent player in his time . lousy 'pundit'

He's a different player to Bam Bam. He's a deadly completer finisher. Mills is wrong because Eddie was never expected to do all the kind of donkey work Bam Bam gets through. Don't see how averaging a goal every hour is disappointing.
