Is it me or is it significant that the 125th Football League anniversary vote for the best ever team, manager, player, fans etc has the Revie era photo as its focal point or am I just pulling off on the centenary FA cup final and the the last outright winners of the entire Football League, vote now people, put the Mighty Whites back on top and up into the promised land.

Do any ed's have anything on max power or Adam le fondre? {Ed013's Note - ALF could be a target for Hull, but is happy at Reading. It would take between 1-2 million to sign him, another example of Leeds missing out on players from not scouting the lower leagues! 200K from Rotherham well worth the gamble as a certain manager found out, oh wait don't Leeds have him now! Finally a man that can spot talent and spend money wisely. Speaking of talent, the last I heard of Max Power was that they still hiring Models to lay on the bonnets of their cars to take photos}

On official site there's no number 6, 10, 20, 9 I know murphey hunt and smith have took 6, 10, 20 but where's 9 gone just wondering personally think mcd will get another striker?

i wonder if BMCD showing late interest in City winger jeremy helan, as he seems avaliable and did well with wednesday on loan last season. No foundation just noticed interest on sky from wednesday and wolves, Ed any word on this or general winger news? {Ed013's Note - No mate, nothing on him}
Apart from he was terrible with wednesday last season please leeds stay clear of this 1

Is it just me who is a little worried about the defence at the minute? Is it too early to worry?If we get an injury then we are going to be in trouble.
One positive is that we have Peltier and warnock who can play full back or centre back. Also Smith should help us defend set pieces better.
Would love us to sign a centre half that is captain material and help improve up our defense from last year. That crucial period where we were conceding late goals ended up costing us a chance at pushing for a playoff place.

Right, of all the rumours flying around who would be your final 3 signings?
I want no more or less than 3 names for all those funny people out there, and preferably players that have been linked, not Messi, Ronaldo etc.
Personally I'd be ecstatic with Upson, Le Fondre and a gamble on Mackay-Steven (this is a personal gamble as I don't know much about him but have heard many hold him in high regard).

Fans focus on attacking players - we usually do! I'd be thrilled if we signed ALF and Mackay-Steven. But trying to classify or squad, I've come up with eight "class players" at this level, and six "squad players". If Byram's not counted as defender, it's actually at the back we're missing class! Our defensive record last year also suggest this is the the critical part of team that HAS to be strengthened! An injury to Lees or Warnock, and we're in serious trouble. But trouble enough with both of them healty if we don't sign one or two proven defenders!

Wabara to play at RB, allowing BMcD to play Byram in midfield, this would give us a lively right flank. Upson to bring experience to the defence, I feel Lee's would benefit massively from a partnership with Upson. Rowe, because he seems to be a great prospect. If we can pick up, develop and hold onto some of these young and promising players I feel it will only be a matter of time before we take a strong team into the Premiership. Wakey White.
