L1 and L2 seasons curtailed, with promotion and relegation confirmed, based on unweighted PPG. Play offs still to go ahead. Will this force championship clubs to think again, or even the PL. Got to say that this has surprised me!

It sort of makes sense for the whole raft of mid table teams who would have to fork out Thousands of pounds to put games on with no gate revenue coming in, for meaningless games. It was just a case of cut your losses for most of them.

Shows how fragmented the EFL actually is. Good news is if for any reason we have to end the championship we go up on PPG. Think they will do their upmost to play games out in PL and Championship because of the financial implications. Obviously PL do not give much importance to L1 and L2 or they would have found a bit more of that trickle down money so they could finish. Whole finance package needs shaking up as most clubs just clinging on to the hope of getting to PL. and the way rules are used is a joke. Why have Derby not been punished yet three months not long enough to make a decision or do they just need to make sure how many points between them and relegation.

That’s bang on Bige! And not just Derby either. The EFL and FA boards must all have been at the beach during lockdown!
