Leeds offer trials to two promising youngsters from Huddersfield. One is a pacey left winger, not sure of the other.

Hope Snoddy swaps positions with McCormack for tomorrow. Ross is our top goal scorer, should play more central. Snoddy likes to take players on, this is easier on the wing. He has the most assists this season and has proven he can score from the wing. I think trying Snoddy in the centre was a goid idea but hasn't prooven too effective to date. Just my opinion though. In Warnock we trust. MOT

Be better if he swaps places on sunday and not tomorrow

Agree9 Disagree0

I was at Soton game and snoddy played wide left and McCormack played in the hole, same at dull ,He played snoddy central at pompy only. And it did not work Warnock saw this and changed it straight away it's a shame we didn't have him earlier .

All gone very quiet on here, more so since Mr Warnock has said our squad is pretty much all he needs for this season, and stated that he is not a fan of loanees even though he brought in P Robinson from Bolton. Well at least it stops all the utter rubbish ppl were speculating, just wait now for the summer window when NW Starts to rebuild our team and club...MOT.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Robinson could be a permanent signing in the summer so worth loaning and anyone else that comes in will be in the same situation or a free transfer now

Just seen all the comments below the article on Robbie Fowler. You people have short memmories. fowler scored some bloody good goals for Leeds plus I remember seeing him play and he was inspirational. The thing about contracts an what players get and don't get is between them and the club. Every person on here in their own walk of life if offered better money to go to a bettr paid job would take it, he took the money and the contract he was offered at the time so why slag him off ?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

If I remember correctly didn't he have his best scoring average with Leeds, I saw him a few times and he was class. {Ed013's Note - He was class, it was a shame what we went through, but I didn't like how the club had to keep paying him after he left. I know that's life and not his fault. Just another mess the club got into}

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree! On a slightly different note(and not Fowlers fault) I felt that there were about 3 players too many bought in the candy store by O'Leary(Ridsdales fault!) and they were as I recall Fowler 12million, Keane 7million and another waste of money whose first name escapes me called Johnson for 7million.
Poor deals!!

Agree1 Disagree0

What ever happened to Seth Johnson?

Agree1 Disagree1

Seth - bought from Derby, he had 1 england cap if I remember rightly. Story goes that his agent was determined to hold out for £25k a week but that they received an opening offer of £42k! Keane could have done well under different circumstances - over 100 caps for the Republic and still going strong!

Agree2 Disagree0

What happened to Seth Johnson after Leeds went tits up.

Agree0 Disagree2

Saw Fowler bag a hattrick at bolton one boxing day - he should have had 4 or 5 if I remember rightly. Looked effortless.

Agree4 Disagree0

Seth johnson went back to derby for a bit played in a england vs wales celeb and ex players match for john hartson cancer fund scored a great goal too

Agree1 Disagree0

What did it for Leeds back then was not the purchase of Fowler which I felt was a good buy at the time but spending the money on Seth and the failure to sell Bowyer to Liverpool for 9M. If you keep the 7M we should not have spent on Johnson and bring in the 9M we should have netted on Bowyer we would not have gone into administration the following year because we would not have got relegated that season as we would have retained our better players. The debt would have been manageable...just... but a wholesale sale of players would have been inevitable 2 seasons later and administration would have probably occurred 2006/7.
