Just to change the subject; on a lighter note, I have just seen a worse display than our performance on Saturday;

England's T20 team against WI what a joke!

The windies have the best t20 player in the world in Chris gayle. And are playing at home sorry for my ignorance but Bolton wanderers there is no comparrison

Funny how people slate Peltier for being poor, Yes were 1 down just before half time he then subs Peltier for Byram where at least 2 of the second half goals came from his poor positioning.

Did you actually go to the game? Peltier spent half of the first half playing up front. The right hand side was wide open with no right back as he just stood and watched in the opposition half. The rest of the time he was wandering around in central midfield. Even the tactically inept management team spotted this and subbed him so he must have been poor.

Brian must have given Byram the same instructions then because he was all over the place.

Got a meeting at ER with D H tomorrow regards the radio and I've just been told Pennant would love to come back.
Fans please tell me before my meeting if he fits the bill as I don't want to waste my time.

Hey Jeff when BMD goes why don't u go for the job. We can pick the team and shape by voting!

Jermaine Pennant did well last time he was with Leeds, would NOT want him back, he is older and never lived up to his potential.
Sorry he's not good enough, he can't do it prem level so why should we sign him.

I know Kebe is poor but personaly I think Stuart is far worse and we can't even send him back!

Yes, people are right let's stick with Stewart and lend.they are much better!

Seems like a liability but one who up until this year was a premiership player, I'd let him train and sign on a per match basis like we did with Diouf.

I'm thinking Robert Snodgrass is the man for the job but couldn't see norwich letting him go (This tying in with the other "rumour" stating ex leeds player who's an international player)

Strange how no one has said why on earth haigh would take signings advice from mr joe public!! I'm sure your a nice guy but please don't go round saying your going to tell people who to sign like you have some power within the club

Well he takes signing advice from bmd and he's only one step up from Joe public and once cellino gets his feet under the table bmd may find he's Joe public again!

Aamzing, isn't it, the power of those local radio guys. At least we have the comfort of knowing that, when McDermott get the boot, we will have the well connected, and obviously highly thought of, Survivor to fill the breach!

I really thought BmD would use a mixture of senior/youth players to play good football on the floor and do a good job for LUFC.
Sadly after the match on sat I have to admit it looks like I WAS WRONG, how can a manger let so many players under perform and take to our pitch with 60% effort?

If and when it does happen who should we pick as a replacement?

Laudrup/Matteo not done anything to get me excited about, MCKay would be interesting I'm sure he'd get the best out of the players if not he'd have the bottle to drop em or boot em out ;)

Still miss Grayson. When he was here, we played our most exciting football since the Champions League days. Yeah the defence was poor, but we'd end up winning 3-2 or 4-3, not losing 1-0. It looks like he might be getting a fourth promotion from League One this year.

Laudraup didn't destroy them. They were too tired to compete in the both the Europa league and the premiership. They had the highest possession stats in the premier league .

As soon as the takeover goes through we will get a new Italian manager my choice would be Di Matteo!

There's only one choice for me and unfortunately he is employed by Sunderland FC as manager.

Many others have commented on here about the poor tactics, team selections, loan / transfer dealings in (fairness hands have been tied until recently).

What angers and upsets me so much is our inconsistency, we do not look anything like a football team because we don't play football. Players are sh""ing themselves in possession and do not know what to do with the ball. Lack of spirit and confidence among the players.

The things which need to change IMO are;
The manager, sorry Brian after yesterday result and
your interview I've lost patience and faith in you.
We need to sort out the MF and wide positions, quality signings needed here.
If you don't have possession you don't control the game, why can we not pass to feet and move.
Takeover, get it done!

If BMcD was given more time after takeover I honestly don't think our football and league progress would
improve.

Matteo won promotion to the premier league, the fa cup and the champions league. What more do you want.
I read an article on Cellino that he manages to lure big name players like Zola for example, to his teams. Cagilari are a very small team and he got Zola there, wickam and butland are big name signings for us ( last few seasons) and hopfully he would get in do matteo
The only thing that worries me is that he is scared of the fan reaction. He RE- instated him because of the protests so he may be reluctant to sack McDermott. I hope that song oh brian McDermott stops.

But Di Matteo set the tactics and chose team. Does nobody remember how he completely turned Chelsea's champions league campaign around after that abysmal first leg against Napoli when AVB was in charge?

Moggi is the infamous and famous Juventus director of football - sorted transfers for many players like Zidane and internationals - top experience despite some shadows in his past. Bring him on - I would welcome world football contacts like that

You could be right but I feel the old heads seem to look at experienced older players aged 28 -29, we've got 5 or 6 of them that don't give a S***e we need youth in my opinion ;)

I hope not. He's had his second chance and blown it no other manager would survive 2 wins in 14 its relegation form. The players need someone to stick a rocket up them not pussy foot around. Even last week and at Middlesbrough's since when did we accept mediocre draws as a good result.
