Well done Mr Oliver. Pure class. They couldn't believe that they fell over without being touched and the ref didn't get a pen. Jeers from them towards Danny Wellbeck was a discrace.

I'm still reeling from the shock! A referee who dares to book Man Utd players for diving - at OLD TRAFFORD! The audacity!
Should be used as a training video for the p*ss poor refs in the championship

Two players booked for diving! Good man. Young, Di Maria, Januzaz . 3 cheats in the starting XI, not bad LVG

I know it's a big if, but IF we keep hold of our young guns & add a little more quality then I for one cannot wait for next season. Hit the ground running & i'll have that 89/90 feeling all over again! Come on Leeds!

To be fair to MC (if he is still the owner next season), He does want to guide us to premiership, but it is also a business, that's been run by incompetents (to be kind to them), for years and years, so he will need to balance the books. It is his policy to get some income by selling academy players. Any owner would find it near impossible to turn down silly offers for players who have cost us nothing, so I think we should be prepared for 1 (maybe 2) to go. But I don't think he is so stupid to rip the heart out of the team, and we have such an abundance of young talent that we can still be excited and hopeful of mounting a real challenge next year.

I for one hope we dnt sell our young players unless we are in really dire straights money wise the whole point of moving forward with cellino was to nt have to resort to selling our best talent

If for instance Mowatt was to be sold in the summer, how much would be enough to keep us reasonably happy.
Most of us weren't happy to lose Mcbadgekisser but when we found out how much we got for him it definitely softened the blow.
IMO Mowatt is worth more than Mcthingy due to his age and potential. So I'll start the bidding at £20M

Yeah. $20 mil good although $16 will prob get him
Hope he doesn't go. Hope we get one more season at least out of him
Really unless you go to Liv. Both mancs. Chelsea or arsenal. You prob ain't going to win anything anyway. So he may as well stay cause we will be up there soon.

I don't think a Prem team would offer anywhere near that amount of money. Although he's playing well in the Championship, he would still be viewed as potential and would be loaned out almost immediately for a season or two. Would a team pay £15m unless of course Citeh wanted him? Fulham paid high for McLoyal because they thought he'd get them straight back up and he thought he was going to a bigger club. Shrewd move, now they're sat in 21st place in the league hahahaha!

Have to agree with Mad Mick. Today his worth is, maybe 6 million.
But if he were to score another 6 or 7 goals in last dozen odd games he probably be worth 8-10 million. Crazy, but most likely true! Also, it also depends on what clubs are after a player. Hopefully, if he is to leave, Man City and Chelsea will be a couple of potential buyers!1 MOT.

He is better player than mccorm. And I know it is only the championship but free scoring midfielders worth weight in gold. Hope we keep him but Cellini will get at least $15 mill for him. Hopefully with a year loan back too!

Ausman, who apart from the top 4 or 5 clubs, is going to pay 15 mill for him at this moment in time? And 8 goals all season is hardly free scoring, although decent for a midfielder. He is a good player who I hope will become a very good one, but I can't see him playing for a team at the top end of the premier league. As for the 15 million transfer fee, maybe you could be right after all. No one could of imagined us getting 11 million odd for McCormack!
Anyway he is still a Leeds player and I hope remains one.

Maybe Ausman means $15m AUS dollars, which converts to £6.7m which I think is about on the money, although I would sooner him stay too.

I love how everyone has nothing to moan about the team or manager after our recent results. so let's turn it to our chairman. who without him we wouldn't even be a club!

Why can't leeds fans enjoy when things going good!!

Something your post won't stimulate.

To be fair Ausman, he's got a point about the moaners. It's deathly quite on here without the moaners going full tilt at NR, the players or something else.

Therefore, just to give the moaners something to kick off about.(deep breath now)

Let's have David Hockaday back. Sack NR, Dave was pure genius and we'd be top of the league by now, we probably would have already won the league. Cellino out (oh, hang on. ), um, El Tel can come back as a consultant, as can Peter Reid, Kevin Blackwell and Dennis Wise. £500k a month, each. Drop Mowatt back to the reserves, he's useless. We should re-finance ourselves, just for the hell of it.

There you go lads, something to pick over. Obviously I didn't mean any of it, but let's pretend I did so that everyone can rip me apart. Anyone else got something stupid to say?

I for one, never moan. I leave that to Mrs Mick. However, the ones who moan the most on this site are probably post the most as well, so without them, there'd be very little action on here. So, I say, keep on moaning. Just because someone doesn't have the same opinion, doesn't mean they're wrong (Mrs Mick not included).

Well, we will never know whether the recent improvement has been helped by MC being absent, by Thomson arriving, by Sol Bamba arriving, by Redders just realising the need to change things around, or just that as BW says it has taken this long for the players to gel. Probably a combination of all of that. But yes BW, we would not be in this position without MC - and I do feel more positive about the future than for many a long year. Although Redders is still learning on the job, I have confidence that he is good enough to get us promoted, with the right additions. The summer will be a big test of MC's intentions - is he prepared to dig a little deeper into his pockets for a few quality players. And more importantly, how many of the young stars can we hold on to? I suspect we will lose at least 1, maybe 2 - but at a good price! Another interesting summer I think.

I'm more confident under this regime than Bates and GFH that when the big boys come sniffing around out yoot, we will tell them on their bikes! Either that or get silly money ala McBadgeKisser.
I agree Speedy, another interesting summer. Let's hope I'm right and MC's valuations of our players frighten everyone off and we add a bit more quality.

Not read anything else about the Watford fan in a critical condition since it was first posted at the weekend. I hope he pulls through and my thoughts are with his family. I hope they find the neanderthals responsible, lock them up and throw away the key. Any updates from eds would be appreciated.
