Think we have upgraded our goalie which wasn’t that hard. His distribution needs improving but the rest of his game like presence, positioning and saving is good.
Gabby is more solid than firpo even if his attacking prowess isn’t as good.

Don’t think the other two defenders are any better than struik so not at prem level.
Long and stach are not really any better than gruev or ao so same same.
Up front. Well just no.

A cute 'un that!
Love em, but no more cats at my house. I'll just befriend strays!

15 Nov 2025 07:02:18
Aye Bright 😁 there is something basic and satisfying in the company of animals, like being in and around nature rather than the circus our species has become! More genuine than a lot of people I meet lol.

15 Nov 2025 07:34:10
Spot on vid. What you see is what you get. Just feed them, give them affection and a bit of play and exercise and as loyal as the day is long.

15 Nov 2025 07:34:58
Although I don’t like cats lol. Dog man. Although I do feed the stray cat at work cause it kills the mice. 👍.

15 Nov 2025 16:28:52
Always preferred the animals as much better companions than humans. Mind you my Jack Russell makes me wonder sometimes, thank God he can’t talk 🤣.

15 Nov 2025 16:49:43
Allergic to cats, but a huge labrador fan but lost all three of our dogs over 18months to you know what!

Broke my heart to bits!

Just volunteer to watch friends and families dogs now.

16 Nov 2025 06:50:45
I also have a JRT, OP. he will be 20 in 3 weeks' time, so our equivalent of 140 years old! Unfortunately tho we're at the point of facing that dreadful dilemma of what to do for the best for him.
On his day over the years tho, a huge dog in his own head! 😂.

16 Nov 2025 09:23:34
Thats a fantastic age for a Jack Bright but sadly they do depart us eventually as Class has mentioned about his own dogs. It’s always the hardest part of being a dog owner, crushing in fact.
Mines 15 yrs old and sadly only has a few months left, I’ll miss the little bugger when he’s gone.

I will only focus though on all the years of wonderful companionship he has given us and i'm sure us to him.

16 Nov 2025 15:06:10
100% the same for me OP. great characters, great companions. Amazing how they all differ so much!
Someone once said to me that they are a very big part of our lives, but invariably, we are all of theirs! We give them everything we can to give em their best lives.

17 Nov 2025 12:43:33
I had two white boxers. Ave age apparently about 9.
My girl Rosi lived until she was 13. Mind was as bright as a button but legs gave way.
The king. Buster. 2 months shy of 15. I tell your. The king of animals. Huge heart and my best friend ever. Xxx.

14 Nov 2025 19:20:00
I’m wondering do any of you guys still believe we had a good summer transfer window?
I gave it a 4.5/ 10 at the end of it and I’m thinking now that was generous.
Or is it party down to Farke not getting the best out of them?

Agree4 Disagree0

14 Nov 2025 23:36:18
I’m not sure tbh cork. Can’t make up my mind if it’s a 1/ 10 or 4/ 10. Not sure if it’s form tactics or what. I’m very sure something is wrong though. It’s not going to fix itself.

15 Nov 2025 05:50:30
It was a poor window, but he should be getting more out of the players. His tactics, game management and team selection is very poor.

15 Nov 2025 06:39:53
I wouldn't say it was poor. Look at it objectively.
We strengthened fairly well at the back, but have been sloppy on occasions. Gabby and Bijol are good signings I reckon. Stach will get better in time, and we've seen him have good games, so there's more to come. Oka started poorly imo, but no doubt Farke has helped him settle and grow, which he has.

DJ, Bogle, Ao and Firps are among the players who've credited DF with improvements in their game, let's not forget that.
Then we ran out of disposable dosh!
Still a 5.5 / 10 for me.
Aus is just being OTT and unnecessarily scathing again because someone must've wazzed in his beer money pocket. 😬😃.

15 Nov 2025 07:36:17
Ott for having a diff opinion. Ok. That’s reasonable.

15 Nov 2025 17:25:39
50% jest Aus. thought the last part made that obvious, but clearly not.

13 Nov 2025 23:30:08
It’s an interesting point re the quality of the players both the new and old and if they are prem quality or not.
I think on their day at their best Perri, Bogle, Rodon, gabby, amps in defence, long, stach, ao and Okafor are. That still leaves us short in the attacking third.
The form of Bogle who was a beast at beginning of the season has dropped and stach is a shadow of the player of the first few games.

It’s strange how the will of the players has dropped. Are they not up for the fight. Or are the tactics dictating their form.
At present form I see us as the worst team in the league. We simply have to buy quality in January if we have any dosh.

Agree4 Disagree0

14 Nov 2025 06:05:55
98% agreement from me.
The excitement of playing PL football, and the adrenal energy that came with that seems to have burnt out as the reality of this season's challenge hits home. DF needs to quickly find a way to get that exuberance back into the players. I like the bite in the tackle that's still there, but the players have seemed flat.

14 Nov 2025 09:18:24
I agree but easy to say. Question is, who would join a sinking ship? Especially when there are other ships begging them to join.
No, the key is in getting what we have to gel together. Don't rely on the cavalry, they may not come. It's the old adage - "you got us into this mess. "

14 Nov 2025 09:31:17
We have the quality to finish mid table. There is the skill and talent in our squad to achieve that.
There isn't the belief or tactical ability from our coach to get those skills out of the lads.

14 Nov 2025 10:40:35
Gotta disagree mot. We haven’t the pace or striking ability to score enough and are thus far doomed for bottom 5 somewhere.

14 Nov 2025 11:06:10
We've shown flashes of that ability and talent, we've seen okafor and GG make runs, we've seen good goals scored, Nmecha convert, James make an attacking impression, stach and longstaff scored cracking goals and push forward.

We have the ability and talent. What we don't have it the ability to recognise it.

Put a crap manager on a world class production line and the numbers drop.

14 Nov 2025 13:01:04
Agree re manager mate but over 11 games. The odd threat. That’s always going to happen. Think early rounds of fa cup etc.
not good enough.

14 Nov 2025 14:30:29
Well geezoirs I keep going round in circles, had we showed the levels we did against Bournemouth, Wolves, Everton, the first half against Wet Spam we surely would have at least matched Burnley, Brighton and Florists but it just was not there in any way. I am totally baffled but something is very Pete Tong in the camp, the unity has gone too.

14 Nov 2025 14:50:45
it can take time for Bundes players to adapt to the EPL. Some of the players will be tired and Stach has been playing with an injury.

14 Nov 2025 16:45:55
I'm all for a managerial change, DF has the players playing fartoo conservative in their approach which I'd get pussed off with if you're in space ready to go but the ball gets passed backwards.

15 Nov 2025 06:42:29
I'm with Aus on the potential heights this team can reach. No chance at top half. (Hopefully a miracle happens, and you can throw that one at me in May, Mo! )

13 Nov 2025 19:18:23
Bambam signs for the blunts on a short term deal, and I do mean short, only until January!

Agree3 Disagree0

13 Nov 2025 20:54:15
What’s the bet he gets injured during the deal?

13 Nov 2025 21:10:41
I hope he scores hat tricks every game.

All the best to him, he has lots of life in him yet.

13 Nov 2025 22:55:10
Yeah. Good luck to him. Hope he earns longer contract.

14 Nov 2025 06:07:01
Tricky dressing room chats if Pat starts a chant. 🥴🥴.

14 Nov 2025 07:54:59
I thought that bright. Funny.

Du du du, wilder is my gaffer.

14 Nov 2025 10:50:21
Lol Koch!

13 Nov 2025 18:15:49
Hey me old china plates .

It doesn't really matter whose fault our current form is to be blamed on, it's what the club is doing about it.

Here's a few points, and take what you want from them .

We got hammered by the gunners, next game we came out thundering.
We beat the worst team in the league and then we loose to who probably should be the second worst team in the league.
We are up 2-0 against the hammers, and just at the end of the first half we retreat and in the second half have NO method to get out of our own half. That form continues for the next few games . And here we are, wondering and bantering about who's to blame, the players, the manager, or management.

Is it the players - absolutely YES. Is it because they are not capable of playing at this level, NO - they have shown us that. Is it that they don't know how to get out of their own half - NO. Is it because they as a collective all get a mind-f&ck at the same time and forget how to play, NO - then what's the issue, that they all come out of that dressing room like timid little mice, either being 2-0 up or at kick-off

What we do know is that when things are NOT happy in the dressing room, it shows on the pitch and it shows in drastic form.

DF going to Germany, everyone's allowed to get away, BUT when your team is in the worst form for 2 years under your control - IMHO that's the last thing I would be doing. Unless of course I'm house hunting.

13 Nov 2025 19:59:11
Excellent and very pertinent points CA. What the Holy f##k has gone on?

13 Nov 2025 23:13:08
Vid - I really don't know. But have a think about it . if you had to go this where would your mind be .

A guy who went on loan for the last two seasons has come back because no-body wants him, and he gets to play every game, before others who deserve more.

BA playing every week, when the only thing he's good at is falling over and loosing the ball.

DF standing on the sidelines telling everyone to slow down and keep calm - instead of get at them .

taking off the best players, for absolutely doss

Don't know what the problem with Amps is, but he's not the same player this year

Maybe they all thought they were going to be scooped up in the off season, and woke up only to realize they are still at elland rd.

14 Nov 2025 06:20:00
Really interesting opening post, fella!
On the BA front, the biggest issue is that there hasn't been a direct replacement up to press. If DJ comes back safely from the Welsh, and is fully fit, he will slot straight in. Likewise, Will should help push him back down the order. I don't see him as the being any part of the group problem, as you can see the support he has from his team mates.
Amps ain't good enough in CM, and it was something that concerned me once we recruited more quality at the back.

He was always going to be accommodated in The start 11.
I think there is a collective panic that sets in when we are infront, as even in the champo, we always had the ability to blow a lead. It may sound a bit mystic Meg, but I'd honestly get a sports shrink in for a month to work with them all, as a group and individually on this. I think that's why DF is trying to calm them us the bottom line; he senses, and is aware of that panic.

14 Nov 2025 07:43:13
Agree Bright I would say it’s possibly more about a psychological issue than anything else. We have competed very well in some games and in others it’s like we’ve gone into our shell, especially the away games.
I have heard managers say on occasions that a decline in form can be inexplicable and they can’t determine a reason why it happens sometimes.
You can understand it happening in any individual sport like golf for example but as a team it’s more complex I imagine.

I think our players are aware of the superior quality they are up against and I guess a collective fear sets in during a game, all fearing of making a mistake which effectively makes the players go into retreat mode and unintentionally make errors.
It is part of Farke’s job to alleviate fear in his players and make them them play with more bravery instead.
If this is the problem at present then yes, sports psychologists can help players overcome their issues.
A lot of fans especially of our generation may dismiss the effectiveness of sports psychology but they are used by a lot of clubs now.

Having said all that it might be that we are just a crap team that’s not good enough for the Premiership.

14 Nov 2025 13:52:53
It’s farkes fault opti. Jeez. Stop overthinking it. Sport psychologist.
If they can’t play for plus 50 a week. Shame on them.
He will be sacked. I do t care why. I don’t dislike the bloke tbh.
But he wasn’t isn’t prem quality.

14 Nov 2025 15:54:33
Aus, people aren’t built the same way as our generation, whether that's a good or bad thing, it’s another conversation also it’s got nothing to do with the money concerning players performances.

Why Liverpool Should Revisit The Diamond Formation

{Ed's Note - RedDawn has posted a new article entitled, Why Liverpool Should Revisit The Diamond Formation

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Nov 2025 01:53:19
I think all managers should be judged on current form. Not their past achievements. That makes no sense.
Just how long that run of bad form is, is debatable.
It would be logical for each game of the season be given an expected points total.

With both Liverpool and Leeds I would imagine that expected total has not been achieved.
I think our form since Tottenham has dipped. We were lucky v spam.

Agree3 Disagree0

13 Nov 2025 08:26:35
Aus, I was with you until the West Spam bit.

How were we lucky? We battered them, we should have scored more, and i don't believe the scoreline was a true reflection of how we played. So a little credit where its due mate.

13 Nov 2025 08:30:34
I agree Aus.

Last season was fantastic and DF’s (current at that time) form going into the Premier League was great, so I was in the camp of him staying as manager.

However, his current form isn’t good enough and I now think we should make a change, which is sad imo.

Scary thing is, I am unsure who is out there and available, and willing to come to Leeds who is good enough to change results with the current crop of players, and will Clownface Marathe and his puppets do anything in January to support?

We dream of the promise land and the EPL, but I’ve enjoyed the last 2 seasons way better than any of the last 23/ 24 years since we played in the Champions League.

13 Nov 2025 10:42:44
Agreed Aus, even to the point of a few games ago, we are lost at the moment and I have a bad feeling about the Villa game. A home game where we have to pick up points but if we play as we have in the last couple we are going to get zero and the same from the next 3 after, in fact it could be epic proportions of spanking.

Be interesting to see how DF sets up because he has to go after a result, being negative at home is the road to disaster.

13 Nov 2025 10:48:45
Is it because Farke is not good enough or is it because the players are not good enough?
Or both maybe?

13 Nov 2025 11:13:31
Both opti tbh.
Totally agree we should have beat west ham by more mot but that’s the fault of our gifted striker.
We parked the bus v spam. When winning. At home mot. Nearly blowing it.

13 Nov 2025 11:21:00
I also largely agree Aus, but got throw something in. If this is true, why are Farke's Norwich escapades still coming into play now, or does "form" extend to the last 8 years when it supports a specific perspective?
Think MG has summed it up pretty well.

13 Nov 2025 13:06:13
I said and think form extends to max two months. Prob more like 6 weeks. If there is an inability to beat teams we should have or were pre season 3 pointers then it’s an off you go.
Think pretty much all of us expected a scrap. Pretty much all of us expected an unpleasant experience. But pretty much all of us said beat the teams at the bottom.

Lose to the better teams or scrap a draw. We were embarrassed by Burnley and played off the park by forest. So that ain’t working. It’s rotten to the core. Poor owners. Poor recruitment. Poor coach. Poor squad. But someone has to pay. And I guarantee you it ain’t owners recruitment team or players.

13 Nov 2025 14:24:02
I read a stat which says since the Premiership started Clubs that changed their manager when they were in the relegation zone, only 43% avoided the drop, that percentage is much lower after December.
I couldn’t find a stat for the last say, five years as the quality of teams in the Premiership has visibly increased and I’d be interested to know the more recent change of manager from the relegation zone, what kind of percentage failed.

Of course as we know already both Leicester and Southampton changed their managers to no avail, same with Sheffield Utd the season before.

13 Nov 2025 17:25:41
Well we will have Wet Sham and Florists to add to those statistics good or bad come the end of the season Op.

Hope your John Wayne walk is less noticeable and the hernia is healing well Pal.

13 Nov 2025 19:10:33
I hope so Class.
Much better thanking you 😎👍.

In conclusion not too happy with the result then, Ed? Would you stick with Slot or a change now?

{Ed001's Note - I am honestly not sure. I hate the idea of not giving him time after he won the Prem last time, but his football is dire to watch and is not working. And he keeps going back to it, so it is clearly the way he wants us to play. So I am starting to teeter on the brink of wanting him out, though I normally prefer to be patient and give more time.}

12 Nov 2025 15:54:32
Ed. Straight swop for Farke?

{Ed001's Note - nooooo.}

12 Nov 2025 16:51:53
Ed, your comments in your post, if you swapped championship for premiership, you’re also describing Farke funnily enough!
Our sentiments as well.

{Ed001's Note - it does feel uncomfortable but sometimes you have to make a change even when you are reluctant.}

12 Nov 2025 17:27:49
I think the question should be who would you replace him with if Herr. Klopp for whatever reasons didn’t take the job.
In your mind Ed do you think Klopp would be considered the only viable option?

{Ed001's Note - Klopp is not an option, nor should he be. He was already worn out 2 years before he left. I would go for Iraola.}

13 Nov 2025 00:50:53
And if I were Bournemouth I'd tell the scousers to go forth and multiply.
