Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton is attracting interest from Leeds manager Brian McDermott. Albrighton has been frozen out of the team since the arrival of Paul Lambert and the Midlands club are reportedly letting him leave on loan to a championship club.
Hes in their 25man premier league squad. Cracking player, would love him to come to Leeds. Good pace and great crossing delivery. Exactly what we need

I heard that BcMD was speaking to Moyes about players to loan the other day as they are good friends but was then reminded that they may not get the best reception at ER even if they are in a Leeds shirt. However Moyes gave him info on some of the Everton youngsters that he worked with and would be good for us to try and get. Am hopeful we will get some good talent this loan window as unlike NW, BcMD is well respected by the premiership managers and has built some useful friendships with a number of them.
Although it would stick in my throat to have players from man united, I do think they have some very useful youngsters and if it helps Leeds get promoted I don't think many fans would have any problems with using there talent.

That deal makes the above comment seem sceptical to say the least.
I honestly don't care if players come from Man U any more. They aren't our arch rivals these days. Doncaster, Huddersfield, Sheffield etc, that's where we're at.
Not really when Manchester United still sing about us. Those clubs are tinpot. The Doncaster chairman even admitted there is more leeds fans in Doncaster than Doncaster fans. Huddersfield celebrated staying up by singing about us for 5 mins and Wednesday's support is dreadful. 800 brought to leeds. We bring 5000 despite the fact their played during the week
I think the majority of fans would cheer them on regardless of who they are on loan from but there is a small minority that would get on there backs and as they are young may cause them to underperform

We won't mind where Wootton came from if he proves a success so who would give a flying one if we take a few more of their youngsters on loan. Let's be honest - they're hardly likely to be useless, are they?
We're tinpot to be honest. 8 years of Bates has turned us into a clubno bigger than Blackburn / Sheffield United.
Barkley came and went and we didn't take interest in this talent so u think Everton players are going to be thrilled to go to Leeds for the same reaction?

Heard today that Leeds are now willing to take Billy Sharp on loan and to pay 100% of his wages as Southampton want. It's a bit of a gamble as it will cost a fair wodge of cash but if he gets the goals and pushes us up the league it will work for us.
Hope not, 10k a week on someone as average as him. A couple of up and coming youngsters please
No u didn't, Leeds only looked at Sharpe incase Ross went, no more out and out strikers coming to Leeds. We may get a winger who can also play up top but Billy no way will it happen

I think we would have to loan someone out before we could afford this, for example a Danny Pugh or a David Norris to someone like a Barnsley or another lower championship team!

Sharp has been linked repeatedly through the years. He has missed that ship. £18k a week for Sharp is not money well spent and teh fact he is still at Soton proves every other Championship club agrees.
Sharpe is worth every penny of his 18k wages but we as leeds will sign some youngster for cheap then sell him on. no one any good will join that's for sure.

don't think well see anything of Byran for a while, spoken to a physio from TA who tells me his hip is still flaming up, but he also has a ankle injury due to trying to compensate it. if he goes under the knife won't see him before xmas at best.
I just can't believe this, he is playing 90 minutes in reserve games
Pretty strange then that he managed 90mins with behind doors match against Sunderland. Would not have played a minute if there was another possible injury to him, come on mate get a grip, obvioulsy posted by a jealous non-Leeds fan!

Thats funny as I was in the Gym the other night and bumped into a leeds physio, who said he's doing really well nad hopes to be back in contention after the international break!!

I got told the same information at the development match a few weeks ago against Huddersfield
Well byram is playing again in a development game on monday if he was injured like you say then he wouldn't be playing simple as that
