Clint Hill, Kim Ojo and Dani Pacheco will all join Leeds.

Believable34 Unbelievable23

Would be great signings..still unsure on hill..but he has had some good games in the epl.

Agree2 Disagree0

Il cry if we get Hill, completely past it the way he was taken apart by Suarez was a joke. What's the point in getting him if we are to make it in the premier league, just one of warncocks mates that he'll try and sort out before he elopes off into the Cornwall sunset, at the end of the season. Complete joke.

Agree0 Disagree1

Hope we get ojo looks to have promise and very young aswell for our team anyway I hope Warnock dosent buy any OAPs in the window

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres deals to be done with both Harry and Moyes so lets wait and see....

I personally would love this signing and he should love to get one over on singh what his name for the comments saying he's past it all that man needs is a new challenge welcome here any day pedersen mot

If i remember rightly isnt Gamst Pederson left footed ?
I'd take him all day long, created hundreds and popped up with a few goals of his own from time to time plus if he's a Leeds fan lets get him.
MORLEY WHITES

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeh right so he can get 15k a week instead of the 40k he on now! We are desperate as a club and i hate to admit it.. Average crowd what 18000.. Next geezer tells me LEEDS are a big club i will do up my own shoelaces! We were a massive club but lets be honest we don't even make top 20 anymore. Medium size clubs like Leicester, Ipswich, Derby all get proper crowds. We, a big city one team club get absolutley rubbish attendances and i find it embarracing..

Agree1 Disagree1

LOL... I live in Ipswich and got a free ticket (hate them, but a game is a game) the other week. They had about the same attendance as we do more or less. Ipswich are not a bigger club than us. Get some perspective kiddo

Leedsunited to get jimmy floyd hasselbaink on choaching team . Recent ly unemployed by forest . A great edition if you ask might takeover at end of season

Believable20 Unbelievable44

Yeh mate we need a manager with NO coaching experience.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have got nothing against JFH but on what exactly do you base this as a great addition on? He did nothing at forest and living in Nottingham I can tell you that the general consensus was that he should of gone and O'Driscoll should still be there!

A coach who was an attacker in his day..... Forest had 2 strikers who couldn't hit the target for toffee whilst playing at forest under his coaching - mgoldrick and Ishmael miller and they've been pretty prolific whilst out on loan, mgoldrick earnt himself a move to Ipswich! They also have a fantastic striker in Billy sharp who has been a slight disappointment since at forest!

Could just be bad luck but the facts don't look good for jimmy!

Scot MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

JFH is chelsea through and through. I think we have had enough of chelsea [legends] for a decade. (bates/wise) Dont need another. Has no affinity with Leeds. The only former player id like to see manage leeds if NW gets the boot would be Lucas.

LLHB MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

If you need someone to hold up the team seating area JFH is your man he was fantastic at forest doing this, he did now't else.

Looks like your getting Dexter Blackstock not even on the bench today looks like 750,000 is the fee.

Really happy with Ross barkley signing.. Great player at championship level and will do a great job for us.. Young and hungry and will definately add depth... Should start every week for me and how many midfielders do we have now? Really hope he signs for rest of season or permanant.. Future international fro sure... Just shows nobody knows who NW is really looking at! I would personally like to see a strong ball winning defender and a left winger with some pace.. I think a new left back would suit but if Colin gave drury a chance more often we would be fine there.

So here are my last 3 signings to get us up....

Bramble cd or Knight cd
Gradel lw or Puncheon Lw
Wells st or Pope st

This would leave the team as

Kenny
Byram Knight/bramble Lees Drury
Austin
douiff tonge barkley puncheon/gradel
becchio

subs ashdown, white, pearce, norris, mcormack, pope/wells, green

Believable13 Unbelievable30

You mean the Puncheon who is playing every game for Saints in the Premiership?? Think about it.

Agree2 Disagree0

You're deluded to think barkley would sign 'permanently' for leeds everton wouldnt let him go they value him highly and he's only out on loan to get more experience so he learns from any mistakes he makes in the championship and not the premier league and he is destined to be not just a 'championship player' he will be a great 'premier league' player

Agree2 Disagree0

Sorry don't understand how you can honestly believe there is any chance of a permanent signing that is way off he's a great young player he will be with us on loan to gain experience then will be pushing for evertons first team and do any of you honestly believe everton would sell their best homegrown prospect since wayne Rooney to a championship side like us just being realist here it is not on the cards

Agree1 Disagree0

Bramble?!?!?!? Why?

Everton fan in peace lads

Barkley is amazing guys, he will be a superstar but don't get your hopes up on a permanent signing as Moyesee has big plans for him and so do we

Good luck this season and hopefully you can keep Barkley until the summer as he needs some experience

You will be back where you belong soon lads

I echo what my fellow Evertonians say about Barkley, unless you've got a spare £25m lying around he's not gonna be signing for you permanently. Just enjoy the lad while you can he's gonna be a top, top player for Everton and England in yrs to come. Good luck with the promotion push.

Dominic Matteo says talk of interest in Luciano Becchio and Sam Byram is much more than speculation, having seen scouts he knew at Leeds United's recent FA Cup tie with Birmingham - YORKSHIRE EVENING POST

Believable18 Unbelievable7

11 Jan 2013 17:38:48
Warnock has been shrewd with Tonge and Barkley.
Tonge is a solid all round championship midfielder
and Barkley is an exciting attacking player. With
Becchio, Ross, Somma and Diouf we have enough
upfront for me. White and Byram should be given
more time at LB and RB. Which leaves the old centre
half issue. With Tate only here for a month I reckon
Warnock will take a punt on Hill. Good enough for
half a season regardless of his age. MOT

Believable16 Unbelievable6

More time at lb and rb for sam... so, both places at once, right? We need a left back and a winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well put my man. Couldnt agree more about this post. Clint Hill just what we looking for as well. Experienced and better than Tate. Perfect along side Lees.

Agree2 Disagree0

Regarding White, I'm not sure about the lad. He has pace, but what else? I appreciate this might upset some, either he learns his defensive responsibilities or he earns his trade as LW in midfield ? What do you rekon ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Lees and Pearce are both good defenders. What we need is a good LB and a midfielder who can keep possession. At the moment, the reason why our defence is leaking so many goals is because they are put under too much pressure, because we can't keep possession. That's why a good ball playing cm has to be a priority.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hill is too old we need to build for the future

Agree0 Disagree0

people are moaning about ross barkley on a months loan, why, deal could be extended, plus at the moment nothing has been said about our manager situation for next season so, i think 3 to 4 GOOD quality loan signing are the right way to go then in the summer see where we are, barkley is a young talented player, so i think he fits the sort of loans we should be looking at, mot

Believable13 Unbelievable5

This won't work. Loan players don't feel the need to commit to their loan club 100% - physically or mentally - but especially physically. So they under perform in 90 percent of cases.

Agree0 Disagree0

It must be extended a player can't play more then 2 teams in a season so it would only make sense to keep him till the end of the year

Agree0 Disagree0

To the first respondent. I might agree if it were an older player, but this is a young bloke in exactly the same position as the youngsters we have out on loan.

They are giving their all and doing well to to prove their worth to Leeds.

This guy will do the same here, as he wants a starting 11 spot with Everton.

I don't know enough about the rules, but if he can't play for any other teams for the remainder of the season and this improves our chances of keeping him for that period, it can only be a good thing for us.

AussieMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Sheff wed got him for a month initially then extended it week by week as everton were happy for him to be out on loan but didn't want to commit to a long term loan in case of injuries as they have a thin squad i guess it will be a similar arrangement for us

Leeds to sign David Templeton from Rangers as the club will not be allowed to play in the Scottish 3rd division for the rest of the season. he won't cost a penny and he's the much needed pace and quality down our left wing!

Aye right you. and where you getting this from? temp is a gers fan so won't be leaving his boyhood team

the rangers rumour has got some truth but i can't see templeton coming to leeds, pretty sure a s.p.l side will come in for him, would be a great addition to the squad but i just don't think warnock will be getting him

Agree0 Disagree0

As a belfast leeds fan you are brought up depending on were you live to also like on of the glasgow giants, mine being rangers, having watched them this season, templeton has been not that impressive, considering they are playing scottish 3rd division, he's been outshone by barry mckay the 16 year old winger

Leeds are taking a chance on Titus Bramble. Solid defender will add great depth to the squad. Source is good he was called David Haigh.

Believable15 Unbelievable36

Would be a rock in this league. people take the p*** but he's been a premier league defender for well over a decade.

Agree1 Disagree0

Great signing - would welcome with open arms

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully just a short term deal, if we're signing the young lad Molyneux from Bradford I hope he gets the chance to develop in the first team

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be a very big chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you greet a rapist with open arms

Agree1 Disagree1

Hope this just remains a rumour I. Think we need a good commanding centre halk but Titus is a donkey

Agree0 Disagree0

Just hope nobody runs past him as a slug has got more pace . the bulldog

Agree1 Disagree0

He has never been solid. Will always give you a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks. We need to move on from this (failed) strategy of signing oldies on a wing and a prayer, in the desperate hope that they've still got a bit left in the tank. Usually they haven't...Chapel A

The rape charges were dropped. the guy's a mountain, remember what division we're in. he'd more than cut it.

I would like to see Kim Ojo, who is apparently asking to join leeds to link up with former team mate Austin, he seems affordable and has less than a year left on his contract and he scores goals.

I would also like to see a player like johnny russell or Dani pacheco, bit of youth but creative and pacy.

Another left back option would be nice too, but mostly i would take Ojo if he wants to be here, he seems to be a good option

Believable25 Unbelievable9

It's a shame your not our scout as we don't appear to have one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ojo is good, and he's big 1, 92cm..
Russell i would take any day of the week.!

would be a great signing, wouldn't cost too much which is also a good thing.
Goal every 2 games not a bad strike rate too!

Russell would be awesome but could we afford wages?

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we are looking to offload some players (connely, pugh etc), it looks as if we may be able to afford wages, it is the main reason they are getting rid of them, wages and because they don't fit into "the plan" - i can't say this with full confidence, i'm just a 20 year old who is studying to become a scout/agent, And as a massive leeds fan i do all the research i can

Leeds United have completed the loan signing of Everton's Ross Barkley for an initial period until February 12.
The 19-year-old midfielder has already tasted Championship action this season while on loan at fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield Wednesday. Before linking back up with his parent club in mid-November Ross made 13 appearances for the Owls, scoring four goals.
Ross, who has made his way through the Everton Academy, put pen to paper on his first professional contract at the age of 17. He has since extended that deal and he is currently contracted to Everton until 2016

Leeds are looking to resign blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson for 750k and the summer transfer window.

Believable14 Unbelievable38

He is of to forest now Camp has been slung out. The old saying "never go back" is generally a wise one - whoever it is

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? NW sees Kenny as one of his own, and Ashdown is probably one of the best reserve keepers in our league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely not, we've already got 2 decent keepers

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see us signing a Keeper as NW seems more than happy with the 2 we've got.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trust me, he is not what he used to be on or off the field

Believable31 Unbelievable11

good to get excited about leeds again

Agree1 Disagree0

Great signing, hope we can keep him for the rest of the season.

Agree1 Disagree0

I do hope some of you lot will hold off the constant whining and criticising now and give the management a chance to get some quality in place

Agree1 Disagree0

Excellent player who will relish an opportunity to show what he can do. Mouse rates him highly

Agree1 Disagree0

Probably a fail-safe signing with a more experienced player the real target. If that one arrives before 31/1 Berkley goes back. If not he is extended to end of season just before 31/1 or becomes 93 day emergency loan in February. Encouraging

Agree0 Disagree0

Great loan signing, young and hungry with talent... MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Great player but i am worried about signing a player for only 1 month, just as he is setteling in he will be going back to Everton. You can't build long term success with loan players. I was hoping after the takeover we would be moving away from loan players and buying young players on long term deals. garyd MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched a clip of him on Youtube from when we played Seff Wed, looks quality just want we need a midfeild, player that can keep the ball and move it around. will also be much quicker in the middle than what we have, he also go 4 goals in 13 games for Wed! Lets hope he can continue that form and hopefully we can hold on to him for a while longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant he was excellent against us when we played against Wednesday

Agree0 Disagree0

To the third poster - If you pay good money to see LUFC you are entitled to whine a bit and if you think that it doesn't deserve a whine then you clearly didn't go to Hull or the home game with Bolton.
foxrat

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats more like it! bit of youth coming in and a touch of class, looked good when he played for sheff wed against us!

Agree0 Disagree0

Great -Barkley and Tonge will actually give us a proper-looking midfield. Had enough of watching the scrappy, bits-and-pieces lower league types being over-run (sorry Norris, Austin, Brown, Pugh et al -there's a place for grafters, but you have to be able to keep and pass it as well). With Green, Byram (must move up from full back) and another like Boyd or a pacey type such as Templeton fighting it out for places, we might finally have a decent midfield again. Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

We are desperate for a creative midfielder. i just think we have got him for a month so we can tie down someone else down perminantly by the end of the month to battle negotiations with whoever we want to sign. good cover for the time being tho! MOT

Neil Warnock and Leeds United's board were re-evaluating their January transfer strategy today after reaching dead-ends with a spate of approaches for potential signings.Warnock was due to meet chief executive Shaun Harvey this afternoon to discuss the club's next move following "seven or eight" unsuccessful enquiries for players on their list of targets.
new owners same rubbish

Believable27 Unbelievable15

Any one would think Bates was still in charge oh i forgot he is !

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont have a go at them, warnock did not realise until this week that he needs to talk to any players manager and not only to their agent, as the agents say they may be available, but when he speaks to the manager they say he is not available!? wow and how many years of management did it take you to realise that Mr Warnock?

Agree0 Disagree0

No truth in that, you are only guessing and making it up after what Warnock said yesterday. At least the calibre of player we are going for is positive if the clubs are needing to hang on to them

ADW

How are the new owners, or even KB for that matter, to blame for other clubs not wanting to sell their players? Some peo[ple are completely clueless!

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone else struggling to see much of a difference between the Bates and GFH regimes? I know it's early days, but not inclined to hold my breath...Sorry. Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates still has a say till end of the season, just bear that in mind. GFH will want to pay the transfer fee's for quality but bates don't want the player wages piling up on the books so he can ship as much as possible back to monaco because he is a greedy horrible chelsea gnome! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't see the difference between Bates and GFH?! How about the 2 million in transfer fees they spent in the summer when they didn't own us? How about paying for contracts for White and McCormack? How about funding loan moves for Tate and Thomas? How about introducing half season tickets at much reduced rates (lowest price being around £200, £20 per game). How about giving Warnock the money to sign Hall, Tonge and Barkley as well as backing him enough to chase players like Wood and Blackstock. Warnock said he's been talking to Premier League managers and 1 Championship manager. They are clearly backing him more than Bates ever backed any manager there is a clear difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously gfh haven't got a bean, when chelsea or man city, scum, liverpool were taken over they spent millions and had total new squads we are looking at the likes of clint hill and still can't sign them, what about giving the fans something to shout about

Agree0 Disagree0

Ref new owners same rubbish, just because we target players doesn't give us a god given right to sign them, if their clubs say they're not available for sale what more can the board do ? we should be greatful we finally have a board in place place that have made funds available to chase quality players to aid our cause, it's early days yet and we're clearly showing intent to strenthen our squad, don't need this negativity we need support and a 100% of it, time to show potential targets this is the club to play for by packing e.r to the rafters instead of all this negativity

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2013 13:39:20

Leeds manager Neil Warnock could be ready to compete with former club Queens Park Rangers for striker Habib Habibou, .

The 25-year-old striker has impressed this season for his club Zulte Waregem, with six goals from 13 games.

Habibou has returned to form this term, after missing most of last season through injury - but now he is attracting major interest from England.

that Habibou has trained with both QPR and Leeds this month - firstly with Rangers and only this week with Warnock's side.

Now both teams are understood to be impressed and are hopeful of finalising a deal with Zulte.

The Central African Republic-born striker has previously had trial stints with West Ham United and Brighton
