Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban is wanted by a trio of Championship clubs in January, according to the Mirror. Brighton, Fulham and Leeds are all interested in the forward, who has failed to impress with the Cherries since moving there for £7million a year ago.

I do get the feeling this is just sloppy journalism after we chased him in the summer, Bournemouth are looking to get their investment back and for me, as much as I rate Grabban, £7m for a 1 in 3 striker that can't step up seems a waste of money, you can get a 1 in 3 for much cheaper (Nugent at £3m for instance, though we have missed that train) and Wood is currently better than 1 in 2 so your paying that much for backup? If we can get him on loan or for a big discount (£3m tops) then take him, if we have silly to spend though then why not pay the extra couple of mill and bring Rhodes in?

cant see any legs in this one - we won't pay that kind of cash for a player i wouldn't think

Would be daft to spend 7 mill on him, he's ok but far from worth that

May just have missed someone else posting this but I haven't seen it on here and I have a few other places. Seems we are battling Brentford for Norwich's Spanish winger Sergi Canos. We have made contact over a loan to buy situation while Brentford want to bring him in with some of the money they will get from the Hogan sale if it goes through. Norwich are willing to let him go for £3m, not a huge fee for a 19yr old that has done well at this level on loan last season and coming up through Barcelona and Pools youth systems he should have a good foundation of high paced passing football that Monk likes.

I think this one would be quite a risk as Canos is relatively unproven -didnt feature for Barca, only made 1 or 2 appearances for Liverpool and hasn't played for Norwich much at all. Is Monk the one to get the best out of the player or is he just not good enough?

Did well in the champ when on loan at Brentford last year though Alf, 7 goals, 5 assists not shabby at 18 playing for a middling team.
