manchester city are set to raid leeds united for yet another youngster, this time 18 year old defender Charlie Taylor, city have been impressed by the youngster and have been scouting him for the last 12 months. Also City look set to sign watfords highly rated youngster Sean Murray.

If true, I hope the lad can see beyond the mega-bucks City will pay and think of his career. Can you see him breaking into a team that spends money like it's going out of fashion? Another lower-league loan-out will beckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish. Funny how you've posted this just after our young lads got a draw against city's young lads at their place at the weekend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet another?
Have Man City stolen our young players before? Who?
Did nt we get Clayton from City?
Are you sure you ve got your facts straight?

Agree0 Disagree0

He turned them down when he signed a 3 year deal last year (as well as Arsenal and two other prem teams) - i remember reading it on the OS last year and thinking that the kid must be good to get a 3 year deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

George Swann and Louis Hutton went to Man City from Leeds youth side

for Taylor he still has 3 years left on his current contract, so i cant see him being cheap

Agree0 Disagree0

One of their youth team was on our books before he went there. Can't remember his name though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Taylor rejected them and other PL culbs to stay with us.

The best thing NW has done is give snoddy, aidy and macca the freedom behind becchio, which to be fair SG didnt. We now look better at the back with clayton and brown in front of them, we sort or play a 6-4 formation which works a treat. mot.

Believable22 Unbelievable4

Ross and keogh were upfront,sg took keogh off and dropped ross back.it worked brilliantly for ross but sg didnt go for it after that at the games i went to(or the games i can remember)

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember people complaing about that formation when sg played it albeit with howson behind becchio and gradel and Snoddy wide, crying out for 4-4-2!

Don't think desire this season has ever been in question with all the injury time goals.

What NW has definatley brought is back to basics no nonsense defending and players playing with confidence and smiles on there faces. MOT

Have to say we look a completely different side. The biggest thing I can see is confidence throughout the team the other s desire. compound that with Niels request for a 30,000 plus crowd on Saturday and we become a side to be reckoned with. Teams were coming to Elland road seriously expecting to win, they maybe now are thinking very differently......well done Neil and the boys let's become fortress Elland Road MOT

Excellent performance, organised, hungry and motivated, what a transformation with mostly the same players! improving by the game

Agree0 Disagree0

I would never have believed that bunch of players were capable of a performance like that. Well played lads and Mr Warnock I doff my cap to thee

Agree0 Disagree0

Leedss have got some propper talant in the first 11 its just after that are average players . mccormack as been our best player for the last month in my opinion his turns and ability to beat players in an instant .
warnock got rid of the high presure of getting promoted and has basically told his players to go out and have fun.

Who needs matt mills. Odea contender for man of the match today I thought. Didn't give them a sniff in attack

Believable34 Unbelievable3

O'Dea and Brown look like completely new players.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been critical of him this season, but he played really well today. Shows what some confidence and belief can do.

Agree0 Disagree0

I second that, ive not been his biggest O'dea's biggest fan this season, usually a bit sloppy, warnock has transformed him into a real centre half.

Agree0 Disagree0

Having the experience of Robinson next to him also helped a lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has always been a good player just needed a manager who knows what he is doing, considering the amount of headers he cleared def benefiting from Robinson the fact we have two midfielders who are like rotwhilers in midfield make all the difference they now defend and attack as a whole team. We have space on the counter too.

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually can't believe what I'm reading here one good game from a consistently horrendous "footballer" and I use that term VERY loosely. People get a grip one game doesn't make up for the numerous points he's cost us this season. Great performance and more importantly result today but these comments are taking it a bit far.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last comment the boy went to Milan and was given glowing comments by the great maldini mate. We were too open and had nonleadership under SG no confidence nothing. Now were playing as a team rather than individuals.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was good at the start of the season alongside Lees, then he had his concussion problems which is when we started to go downhill. Now under Colin, he's playing a lot better, we've conceded 1 goal in 4 games and yes, it was his mistake that led to it. But, under Larry, we'd have conceded a lot more than that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Apart from his first games at left back when he was a liability, O'Dea has grown in stature and confidence at centre back and has performed very well not just in the last game but the last dozen or so games and to me, the question has been who should partner him. I think with having 2 experienced full backs alongside them the current centre-back partnership should flourish and I hope that O'Dea signs for us in the summer

i dont know if i have missed something in the last 10 days but looking at the lineups yesterday matt mills was not even on the bench again for leicester, west ham have recruited danny collins from stoke so might not be going for him anymorer... is anything actually happening with us and mills ed? {Ed001's Note - he is struggling there, Leeds made an enquiry but Mills wanted to stay and fight for his place. He is a Leicester fan and didn't want to just accept he won't make it there by going out on loan.}

Leeds to sign these out of contract players in the summer hayden mullins, luke chambers, gareth mccleary, sammy clingan, {Ed013's Note - Really?}

Believable9 Unbelievable22

Or maybe all of them?? more likely none of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Heres the clighan obsessed fan again hes s**te

Agree0 Disagree0

My god you have started early wi ye signings lol...are you insane lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

I definitely think some of these will be short-listed, I would give deffo give chambers a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

If we could scrape promotion then these players would not be good enough for Premiership so stop speculating and posting stupid comments. Wait and see where we are come the end of May

Warnock looking at Butterfield (Barnsley) and Clint Hill (QPR)

Believable15 Unbelievable12

Is this the same Butterfield who s ripped his cruciate ligaments playing against Leeds on New Year and is likely to be out of action for at least 6 more months having played 87 times and scored 8 goals for Barnsley?
If so, sounds like a great potential signing. He could really prove pivotal in our push for the play offs.
