Heard from a really good insider that behind the scenes at ER that it's not a happy camp at all lots of things happening behind the scenes with Bates but carnt believe S G puts up with it has the Man got no Balls or personal pride ?

Believable7 Unbelievable5

People are under pressure and so called fans don't help slagging off the chairman and the manager, as well as the players... Some fans can be so fickle... The fact of the matter is, we over achieved last season This season will be more like what should have happened Mid table...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we over achieved. This time last year when we got promoted everyone was afraid we would go straight back down...

Agree0 Disagree0

You are just trying to to stir up crap about bates

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh dear, is that the limit of fans ambitions now - mid table championship? About the same as Coventry City or Domcaster Rovers?

Agree0 Disagree0

We didn't over achieve last season we under achieved. With the players we had we should have been at least in the play offs and had Grayson sorted out the defence we would have. This season will be a lot tougher.

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't all the point of running a business to always to be moving forward and investing revenue to be more successful ,Leeds have had my pass money for years Didnt see Bates let Chelsea go to the Wall it's Leeds for goodness sake

Agree0 Disagree0

Name the insider or is it just more idle gossip? The club needs people who are going to get behind the club not fans having a go at the chairman because of his past connections with a former rival. As when it cones down to it that's the main reason so called fans are jumping on the bates out wagon

Agree0 Disagree0

Its mental that leeds fans continually blow smoke up graysons arse and make him out to be a god , he is a ditherer and is just bates lapdog , grayson needs to be out and i reckon one more behind scenes argument with uncle ken or 2 more league defeats in the 5 games and grayson will be history , the man does'nt have the balls for a fight , worst manager since venables

Agree0 Disagree0

Simon Grayson to be sacked if leeds lose tomorrow and replaced by billy davies

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Nonsense he will be given atleast 10 games to get us playing well and picking up points.

Bates doesnt want/expect us to be getting promotion, so he would be happy for SG to have us around mid-table.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you bin drinking early, that is not gonna happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish We have only played 1 game this season you never know we might win the next 10 So dont put stupid comments on here after 1 game Bates (the one who we all want to go) doesnt have the balls to sack grayson anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this isn't true. Billy Davis is not the best manager. Also, Grayson will not get sacked this far into the season

Agree0 Disagree0

Please he was pissed off with the lack of funds at forest what would he be like at leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

This would be very wrong if it was to happen grayson has and is doing a great job for us, billy davies (no disrespect ) isn't as good as grayson and failed to get promoted with forest, at least give him the season one bad result does not mean he should be sacked

Agree0 Disagree0

This is ridiculous...grayson's record as a manager in last 3 seasons is...play offs...auto promotion...7th...all when he's been given about 20p to spend on players...billy davies has failed and is a repulsive little runt (or something like that)

Agree0 Disagree0

Given how popular Billy "Job done" Davies is with the Leeds fans, this is just a wind up merchant.

Don't rise to it

Agree0 Disagree0

Moronic rumor lacking in any logical sense. Leeds won't lose tomorrow either.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not SG's fault we would be decent this season if bates give him some top money to spend on players but its still early doors got 45 matches left MOT bates out

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter garbage. You may want to think about getting booked into the priory pal, did you learn nothing from Amy Whinehouse? Crack isnt big and it isnt clever

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant see it but i wouldnt care if he went

bates expects top 6 this season, so if we not on course by christmas i would expect him to be sacked then

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you really imagine the egos of Bates and Davies working well together?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish,if we lose Simon I'd only want Gus poyet to take over, but Simons going nowhere.MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I've heard the whispers about Grayson leaving are correct, but Bates is looking to restore Leeds to the greatest days of its history, so is looking to bring Clough in from Derby.

Agree0 Disagree0

Job done then............................t**t

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you honestly think bates would give davies the job hes no yes man, he'd end up walking doing less time than cloughy did

Agree0 Disagree0

Steve Howard to join on a short term loan from Leicester. Could even be finalised in time to play against Boro.

Believable4 Unbelievable25

Would be a useful signing gives mccormack someone to play off and he would add physical presence up front

Agree0 Disagree0

Its odds on hell sign for Derby,is this what were reduced to,loaning a 5th choice striker, and loaning players nobody else wants,Billy Connolly couldnt get more laughs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Careful what you say

Some muppets here will think you mean sign Billy Connolly after all he is known as the "Big Yin" & being a Scot the muppets will say him & Ross will be good at playing together lol

As a trader on the stock market, rumblings are afoot that that a "significant investor" pulled money out of the market before the dip last week. Sitting on this money he's looking to invest in a football club and I've heard Leeds on three occasions from different people. (still a growth market believe it or not)

I don't think KB will sell this cheaply or at the valued price. Don't know if an offer has been made, or if the water is being tested. If this guy goes to another club, there will be another strong competitor for promotion to go up against.

If this does happen it should be in next week or two before the Transfer window closes.

You heard it here first. Usual pinch of salt......

Believable11 Unbelievable21

And I'm going to win the lottery and invest so that makes that rumoured guy you heard of and me woo hoo Honestly throw some names around as to who the guy is and might add a bit of credibility to your post.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not saying my boss is gonna buy cos he isn't but,I work for a successful steel company just outside leeds that turnover 65m a year so he is reputable.about 6 months ago he told me when I jokingly asked him if he would buy Leeds he said,4 of his business contacts all of whom support leeds got together and decided to look into buying the club they valued it at 20m but bates wanted 40m,when I asked him why they didn't consider investing he replied would you go into business with ken bates that is the problem he is over valuing the club and reason for no investment is his reputation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Steel company outside Leeds, I work in the steel industry (a Director Level)and this is Bollocks, you have one or two main players in Yorkshire, one hates football (one I work for) and love motor racing, the other support a rival yorkshire club, ie he hates leeds. The other companies are minows, the owners would struggle to buy a round of drinks never mind the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the guy had the sense to bail out of the market prior to a crash, then he is not merely now going to throw it down the pan by investing in a football club.
Unfortunately Leeds needs like any other club an investor who has pots of money (stock market crash or not) who wants the club purely for the love it. Evil Santa is a business man 1st and foremost and consequently that will always put restraints on the spending power that we have. We need (like Man City) some foreign money that is seemingly limitless, Risdale tried to buy success but did not have enough resources for it to be sustained over more than a few seasons. We all dislike/envy Chelski and City for their buying power but wouldn't it be lovely to be in their position if it was Leeds being bankrolled. Nobody would like us but there again they don't anway so what does that matter.
Leeds need BIG money not some piffling amount from someone who managed to cash his ISA before last week.
I haven't got a clue where the big money is coming from but if/when it does it will be either Russia, China, The Middle East or the US certainly not Sheffield
Let's hope its soon as then Pappa Smurf can be on his way.
Come on Leeds.
Fairburn White.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please don't call me a liar I had the conversation 6 months ago, as for him being a minnow don't think so he has bought into 5 different steel companies around the country and yes everything I said was true, either believe it or not why would I lie nothing to gain by it

Agree0 Disagree0

Why post this if you boss is not going to buy? also are you the same guy who posted this before

Agree0 Disagree0

Somone pulling 20-40 milliion out the market is hardly a significant investor, sure u work in the stock markets?

Agree0 Disagree0

Having read most of the rumour posts on this site over the course of the summer, I would say about 90% of the posts on here are lies. As to why people do it? that I can not fathom or answer im afraid. And most of them say the same thing "why would I lie" lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I want people to know why no one is interested in buying our club cos he is pricing us out the market

Leeds want to loan Ipswich striker Tamas Priskin source Daily Mail

Believable10 Unbelievable17

Can't see anything on the dailymail website?? you got a link?

Agree0 Disagree0

The old saying is true "Actions speak louder than words" Bates should go ,retire to monaco, he lacks direction, purpose, and footballing ambition for LUFC. leave knowing you secured a future for LUFC, but it is time to move forward unless there is some serious investment the only way is down...just how i see it maybe we should stop looking through rose tinted glasses without a GOOD squad of motivated, Abitious, players and management team, I dread to think...Any billionaires out there, LUFC NEEDS YOU BUY NOW.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, yes what a terrible signing this would be. 8 goals in the last 2 seasons for an out and out striker. sums up were leeds are going. pure panic buy as ipswich just want 'miskin' off there books.

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason Priskin would be available is he can't make the bench at the mighty Ipswich Town ( who both Bowyer and Stockdale went to rather than us ) Tells you everything about the clubs ambition. Very depressing times

Agree0 Disagree0

Ipswich fan here.
i really hope for our sake you do take him off us, roy keane signed some poor players in his time with us, priskin being the worst of the lot. he is so lazy and a real poor finisher 80% of the time. i feel sorry for you leeds fans if this one does come off.... but im sorry to say i really hope it does

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with ipswich fan awful player hope we dont sign would strugle to score in the confrence

Agree0 Disagree0

O'Dea and now Priskin...does your club simply look to players which have failed misreably at Ipsitch and then just snap them up. This is comedy gold

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds an ideal strilke partner for Paynter, and typifies the s**te what SG is bringing to our club,he wouldnt know a good player if he bit him on the arse, even Donny and Millwall are bringing in better players, time for change while the seasons still young,

Agree0 Disagree0

Am sure SG would love to bring in good quality players, but what with? brass buttons and smarties? no money for transfers, no money for half decent wages, dont blame SG for what he is allowed to bring in, blame Bates. Blame SG for the stupid formation he plays that doesnt work

Agree0 Disagree0

The last comment is the most sense I've heard for so long. Big man Mcormack upfront, complete rollocks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will some please ask mr bates are we in money
trouble again as i think we are 7milloin
on the stand and mr bates said that no bank would lends us any money
so 2 and 2 make 4 we are broke again

Believable7 Unbelievable13

It is a f***ing joke the way he spends money on the ground which aint even our's instead of spending money on improving the team and getting back where we belong but no thats not for bates all he is going to do is sell up at the end of the season sooner the better i think lets get someone who can give as much passion as SG can who knows where the club belongs an shows it buy bringing in quality MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we are in money trouble again. And also bates has said we have one of the highest wage bills in the league in top 6.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will you go away with your anti bates BS The money could have came from various places including bates own pocket at the end of the day he is the owner he isn't accountable to you and doesn't have explain every financial detailif the club. There's a thing called private club business hence that's what the financial details of the club are

Agree0 Disagree0

The money for the east stand came thanks to the delph deal and kasper and whoever else we've sold.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anti-Bates BS?

Wake up mate, he is accountable to anyone spending money that they have put into the club. I spend money with LUFC in good faith that my cash will be used to go towards players. Us fans pay the highest ticket prices in the league and see no investment in the team.

You seriously think its good investment, and are perfectly happy, spending £7m boxes and to prepare ER for a hotel that no-one will stay in, rather than getting the team promoted?

Agree0 Disagree0

Anti Bates BS? are you ken bates? if so please know that the fans arent happy to be paying over the odds to watch championship football and have an owner who wont even compete with the likes of bristol, ipswich or Brighton. Youve turned us into a laughing stock. £7m on corporate boxes that youve only got 40% occupancy of - joke.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. Do you really think that the bates will invest in the stands and then let the playing side go to the dogs? Commercially nobody will want to visit the boxes if we are in league 1

The real problem has been around for 2 seasons with a weak defence and poor central midfielders That's the manager's fault

Agree0 Disagree0

Where does it say on the season ticket application or when do they tell you at the ticket office that any of the ticket money will be spent on players?

Not defending Bates, just saying it's his business (but our club) but unless people vote with their feet he is going to spend the money on what he wants.

Agree0 Disagree0

When vile bates sells us he will put 7million on asking price stating the ground improvements that he's made ,he is lying of course delph woods etc paying for it .

Agree0 Disagree0

SO LETS HIT HIM WHERE IT HURTS , BOYCOTT BILLY'S BAR AND PAVILLION. AND DONT SPEND MONEY IN THE GROUND OR CLUB SHOP.IM A SEASON TICKET HOLDER NOT GOING TO STOP SUPPORTING OUR GREAT CLUB JUST NOT GOING TO GIVR THAT ROBBING B*****D ANY MORE OF MY MONEY.BUT WOULD TAKE EVERY ONE TO DO THIS TO HURT HIM. JUST THINK OF ALL THOSE PIES /BURGERS AND BARRELS OF BEER GOING RO WASTE. PLUS £3.50 A PINT THATS A 50P INCREASE SINCE LAST SEASON . BATES OUT MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

He isnt accountable to anyone? He is accountable to the fans
NO FANS, NO CLUB SIMPLES

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes done that because it will benifit and be profitable in the coming years

Agree0 Disagree0

All Bates has done is take money out of the club, he ha charges high prices for tickets, food, programmes, beer, etc. and does not reinvest in the team. We have had money come in from casper and fabian that has not been reinvested, you dont need to look at the books to know that, look at the players we have bought in, how much have we spent?. The development of the stadium (that we dont own) is most probably one of Bates tax dodges. We will go nowhere with this man in charge, he left Chelsea 80mil in debt when he sold them, only a billionaire like Roman could afford to buy a club like that and wipe out the debt. We are going nowhere and getting ripped off in the mean time

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone consider that actually owns Elland Road as he wouldn't put millions into a stadium that wasn't his

Agree0 Disagree0

I rather have ken bates who knows how to run a business than a risdale that wants to play fantasy football. to all the anti bates supporters, we don't know anythin bout the cash flows of leeds or the people we're tryin to sign. i rather have a good loan signin than player that cost us alot and is crap.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everybody keeps talking about the Delph money, we haven't had most of it yet as it was appearence related, howvever will it be spent on players when it does come in?...wouldn't hold my breath.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will you people wake up leeds united plc were made bankrupt on multiple occasions
therefore no bank will lend leeds money as we only paid 1p to the £ on a 100+ million. think about it cant sse the relationship between leeds and the banks being great.

Agree0 Disagree0

MOAN ALL YOU WANT BUT ARE YOU GONNA GRAB YOUR BALLS AND MAKE A STAND?

Agree0 Disagree0

no bates,no club, you would all be supporting the scum or even worse huddersfield town

poyet to be graysons
replacement if things
dont improve.

Believable18 Unbelievable14

This is pathetic its not sg thats the problem it masterbates .. the tight fisted old tosspot ... BATES OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

If things don't improve?? We've played one league game. Grayson got us promotion form League 1, lost out top scorer and still managed to keep us in the top six of the championship for pretty much the entire season in our promotion season, when most fans would have happily accepted avoiding relegation at the start of the season. Im not really sure what more you people expect him to do with the assets at his disposal. It wasn't long ago we were on the verge of bankruptcy, so shout Bates and Grayson out all you like - I for one think we owe them both a huge debt of gratititude for making us a financially sound club again who are on the ascendency rather than plummeting doen the leageus like we so recently were.

A true Leeds United supporter

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want to lose SG under ANY circumstances at the moment. He is the right man. Were we to get a replacement Poyet would be great. He is a talented young coach, but think he is committed to Brighton & cant see him putting up with KB.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be silly - He'd be mad to leave a well structured club with what could be a bright future for a team that SHOULD be amongst the biggest and best in the land. Any manager worth his salt would not and should not come to Leeds with that tosser in charge of the board.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sadly enough I don't think he'd leave brighton for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

In your dreams - Poyet did a fantastic job for us in -15 season whilst the poison dwarf took the credit.( As soon as he left we fell apart ) Would love to see him back but not sure he has such fond memories of us.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Leeds supporter living just down the road from Brighton, and having seen how Poyet has his own team, playing his way, in a spanking new stadium and with money to spend how he wants, why would he leave?

Ken is now starting to show his true colours

MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Does bates coach the team? From the first comment on this post some people seem to think he does Grayson coaches the team so what happens on the training ground and on a match day is down to him good performance or bad performance.
The team finished 7th last year and even given the players that left should still be enough to finish at least in the same position. I'm a supporter of Grayson but the people blaming bates for the poor performances on the pitch are deluded

Agree0 Disagree0

No all the other teams have invested to make there squads better we havent we feel the need to go backwards you need to upgrade every season and we havent so to me bates is to blame grayson wants his players bates doesnt

Agree0 Disagree0

Grayson does not deserve to be sacked so he must stay and be given more of a chance. He's actually acquitted himself quite well in circumstances but one of his weaknesses is using the squad effectively. He has to learn that playing Snodgrass for instance like he did last year say 9 league games in a row is going to mean a tired out of form player. McCartney was right when he said the team was tired. Talked himself out of ER though. As for Poyet, right man for the job just not yet. Let him have another solid season with Brighton then we'll take him but this time minus Pappa Smurf's godson or nephew or whatever he is.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you have 100% proof that bates has told grayson he can't have this player or that player? No? Well how do you know it us true? The answer is you don't you are just voicing your opinion and expecting everyone to believe since you say it then must be true.

No one outside of Leeds united knows what's going on behind the scenes but every one seems to think they do and that it's bates fault. Why jump to conclusions without absolute proof that he's said no to Grayson? Don't care how long you have supported the club and spent your money on it (in my case 25 years) if your not Grayson or bates you don't know the truth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see it, hey maybe thats why Bates is doing some redevelopment on the stadium, to try and get poyet to come? or maybe not

Agree0 Disagree0

The truth is on the pitch every week my friend. The truth is in the players that we have bought in all for free. The truth is in selling casper and fabian and not buying anyone. The truth is having our 2 main strikers injured and not bringing anyone in.
Open your eyes m8, we are being ripped off

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a cert IF Grayson is sacked, there is only one man Ken would want.

Agree0 Disagree0

Felix Luz will get another chance to impress SG tomorrow in a behind closed doors friendly at TA.
Luz has had his trial extended after grabbing a hat-t-rick against Farsley last week.
The Mendy deal fell through when SG decided he needed to recruit elsewhere first i.e midfield ,CF and a LB.

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Rob hulse is a former leeds player and i dont think he was the player in question.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sg did not decide at all bates told him no sg Is just covering it up it not hard to see

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the hell was mendy ever on trial if we were never going to sign him, what an absolute waste of time and club resources.

Agree0 Disagree0

Behind closed door is today (Fri) not tomorrow

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats wrong with our midfield? i personally think its somewhere that doesnt need to be strengthend

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know why Luz is wasting his time with us. SG will probably want him but then Bates will say no again. Waste of time for everyone concerned.

Agree0 Disagree0
