Norris is on his way out of Leeds

Believable106 Unbelievable27

How do you know that then? Hopefully it's true though, he's just dead wood to be honest

Agree1 Disagree0

Good guess m8

Agree1 Disagree0

That's top secret information dear SHERLOCK.

Where exactly is headed and how soon?

Agree0 Disagree1

He is a decent player but not going to get a game with Austin and Murphy in centre of midfield

Agree1 Disagree0

He will be moving on a free back to Portsmouth

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he need a lift?

Agree0 Disagree0

Still not actually happening though?

Agree1 Disagree0

Personally I wouldn't Wang Norris to leave as I think he hasn't been given enough of a chance. When he did get a chance he looks pretty decent. Willing to run and he seems to gave a good right foot on him!

Saw Brian McDermott in Starbucks in Harrogate earlier today with who I think was Stephen Hunt.

Believable16 Unbelievable92

Did he pay the tax

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2013 23:02:55
Would not be suprised

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so, personally think if fit has something to offer! Better out the hunts if you ask me!

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw him in weetons in harrogate not so long ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Really. Carrot cake and coffee on the menu I wonder.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's following Noel's lead and went there for the free Wi-Fi.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently he has been told he can train with Leeds to keep fit, which means McD can get an up close look at him to see whether he's worth a punt or not

Agree0 Disagree0

Really hope this isn't true what happens in next season if we need to build again for another push that will mean yet another 30 +year old we will have stuck on our wage bill with no hope of moving on is this what we need fetching in over 30s didn't we slate colin fior fetching the over 30 boys brigade in and some folk think its good for bm to carry on colins fine tradition

Agree0 Disagree0

Hunt, a punt, any other rhyming suggestions?

Agree0 Disagree0

Opening post load of ball lucks, b mac said on radio earlier on tv radio leeds 15/8/13, he were visiting his mum down south on the 12th August.

Ross McCormack is the subject of a second bid from. Middlesbrough thought to be in the region of £1.3million.

Believable46 Unbelievable12

Take it, the way he played against Leicester on Sunday and throughout his first season at Leeds, and last . good offer

Agree1 Disagree6

That means he's on his way then

Agree0 Disagree2

WOULD SELL HIM FOR THAT

Agree3 Disagree1

The new bid was £1, 300,000 Leeds have quite rightly rejected it.

Agree1 Disagree1

12 Aug 2013 18:13:14
Are you guys stupid, first of all people make out Austin is a world beater now your saying sell McCormack and basically implying he isn't that good, well you obviously know nothing as Ross is one of the best we have.

Lkell

Agree6 Disagree0

That may well be a reasonable offer for Ross but there are several good reasons why we should not accept it.

1) Ross seems to be comfortable in his new role. Could excel here.

2) There is a positive buzz around the club at present. Selling one of our better players could wipe that out at a stroke.

3) We do seem to be struggling to recruit a little. Sell Ross and there is no guarantee that we would replace him quickly.

We have made a very encouraging start to the season. I believe we are already in a better position than Middlesbrough. Ross would be mad to leave.

Agree4 Disagree1

I'd take it, if money was spent on a replacement

Agree0 Disagree0

Reply 6 bang-on. Keep Ross and add more.
He's creative. Can't be perfect every game, but you're right about the positive buzz: hang on to what we've got that's good and build on it.

Agree1 Disagree0

5 mill might fink about it

Agree2 Disagree0

Would imagine if boro go up to 2 mil, that may well make leeds consider it.

Agree0 Disagree0

We really need to keep him but desperate for a poacher.
Billy shap on loan?

Shrew leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

And if we sell for say 1.5 who would u get in for that price and wage who is not only as good but has to be better otherwise what's the point? I don't see many players with his commitment to us and quality for that money! Like previous guy said, selling would wipe out the feel good factor in a flash. I'm open to names as to how u would replace him with to those who think we should sell!

Agree2 Disagree0

As has been said he is one of our best and most influential players. The money being offered would not buy a better replacement. Lastly he's committed to Leeds.

Some Leeds fans should remember we are all in it together this season and the song goes "Marching on together" not "Marching on together err but not with you Ross if we get enough money". Some Leeds fans seem to be as fickle as Howson, Snodgrass and Becchio

Fawksey

Agree0 Disagree0

Only 1.3million, surely he's worth at least double that! It would be a wrong move not only for us but also for Ross. He would be one of the best we have for this season. An up and coming legend! MOT

Lifelong Leeds fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id take 1.3m and marvin emnes who is apparently heading for the exit as is

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross mccormack is not for sale. ross mccormack is not for sale!

Agree0 Disagree0

The only way we are going up is by HOLDING ON to our best players, mcdermott is a clever guy and won't get rid of ross, especially not for 1.3 mill!

Agree0 Disagree0

You could get alf for that price take it

Agree1 Disagree0

Little bit of advise to Ross if he moves there, those red things in the stand aren't fans they're the seats, awful fan turnout and he's worth more than £1.3

Agree0 Disagree0

No way we could get a rep that is better at this stage. Maybe if it was at the start of the transfer window, and someone else could gel and not ruin the 'feel good' factor but not now.

Agree0 Disagree0

1.5 mill offer Tuesday for McCormack from celtic, deal will be done soon

Agree0 Disagree0

We shouldn't accept any bid for Ross. He wants to stay, McDermott wants him to stay, and he's easily our most influential player. All you clowns saying we should sell are either armchair fans or still think we're in the prem! Ross is nothing but good for LUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you crazy ALF for £1.3 million? Sako is going from a L1 club for around 3-4 million, ALF who has proved himself for a season in the PL and is a natural goalscorer is surely going to cost more, in the region of 4-5 mil?

McCormack is worth much more than 1.3 million, in fact, that is an insult from boro. Tell them to **** off or treble their offer

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep - I fall into the Reply 6 camp too. Well said, matey; it's been shown so many times in the past that selling one of your best/most experienced/respected players does little for morale and can be soooooo damaging.

Agree0 Disagree0

Middlesbrough's second bid of £1.3m for McCormack has been rejected.

Believable45 Unbelievable5

Why would he want to go to Middlesbrough?

Agree4 Disagree0

Who would want to go boro?

Agree0 Disagree0

And they are not even in the league cup!

Brian McDermott's key 4th signing was infact Gordon Greer. Leeds had a couple of bids rejected and he is now set to agree a new deal at Brighton.- tv.

Other rumoured targets are Kaspars Gorkss and Matt Mills.

Leeds are also set to appoint a new chief scout this week and I believe his first task will be to have a better look at Todor Nedelev.

Believable45 Unbelievable21

What is your obsession with this Bulgarian?

You played football manager and signed him no doubt. Give it a rest!

Agree1 Disagree1

Could you tell me where you're hearing about Todor Nedelev? Do you actually have a source or have u just seen that he is linked with werder bremen and decided to make up a rumour?

Agree1 Disagree1

If Brian said the player was very interested in joining surely he wouldn't of just signed a new deal? that doesn't indicate that a player wanted to leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but how is a useless 32 year old slug a key signing? terrible player and il go as far 2 say he's the worst championship player.

Agree2 Disagree1

You are wrong. Bmac said "this player excites me" a defender wouldn't get this description in a million years. I think it is Todor or Rowe.

Agree1 Disagree0

Google search "Todor Nedelev and Leeds utd pops up. A lot of rumours about on forums and the odd one on the foreign sites. Bulgarian bloke on FB reckons its a rumour circulating over there

Agree0 Disagree0

Deffo Todor, get him signed up ASAP!

Agree0 Disagree0

Total nonsense, what fan would have been excited by that signing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad we did not get greer, as we need younger players at the club than a 32 yr old.

Agree1 Disagree1

12 Aug 2013 12:02:33
Leeds have been trying for the past week to try and lure Gordon Greer away from Brighton but bids were turned down so he signed a new deal with Brighton. MOT

Believable30 Unbelievable9

Thank The Lord this guy is garbage. I saw him numerous times last season and was without exception the worst centre back in the league. Use the cash and get in Mills!

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2013 12:02:18
Gordon Greer of Brighton is one of the central defenders we have been in for. But has just signed a new deal with them.

Believable21 Unbelievable8

Gordon greer young and hungry

Rumour on the grape vine is that Brian has sent out a scout to South Africa, the player being scouted is English born, but South African living Daniel Yardley, he is 18 and is meant to be the next big thing coming out of Africa, quick, tall, and has an eye for goal. Watch this space

Believable11 Unbelievable22

I've heard this to actually
