Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is tracking Leeds’ teenage defender Monty Gimpel

Believable20 Unbelievable13

Is this the Monty Gimpel summer signing weve yet to see grace the championship??

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger was after him in the summer but lost out to leeds

I go to watch leeds youths and reserves and monty is going to be a quality centre half he reads the game well , very composed , good height , good talker also seen a man city scout at some as well as others and simon wants him to go out on loan near end of season to get confidence and experience then give him good pre season and get him on longer contract

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsene needs to leave us and him alone. He's our player. If the only way we keep him is to play him, then that's what we got to do.

Heard from Academy coaches he is quality, very composed on the ball and doesnt make too many errors. If he was at any other club in Championship he would be first pick as Centre Half. I cant understand SG mentality some times, if he needs games get him in because anything is better than AOB. He may have had good game at Leicester other week but that doesnt make up for all other bad games and points he has cost us over last last 2 seasons. I beleive if they are good enough get em in and stop worrying about their age ! Lets at least get some use out of him before Uncle Ken see's Ł signs and sells him.

According to his agent(Iain Wood) on Twitter this isn't true

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day if he's that good chuck him in with tom lees sign him on a big contract and let em learn together. They may make mistakes but they also could be a cb pairing for the next 10 years

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah i read something about this in the PEOPLE newspaper.
According to all the reports this kid is going to be a big player, i hope this is true, and i hope he stays with us.
Hopefully he will be in the first team sooner rather than later.

Leeds United captain Jonny Howson will sign a new contract with his hometown club after turning his back on a move to the Premier League with Bolton.
Full story: Daily Mirror

There's nothing in the article from Howson that he hasn't said before. I hope he signs soon because I think it's distracted him this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't read the article was just on BBC sport gossip but just assumed would b the same information that us fans have known for days

Agree0 Disagree0

Wont make any difference wether he signs
for Bolton or not .they will be playing
championship football next season like us
I still believe we need two or three more
in we also need to hang on to our better
players and resist any bids for them in january

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds through and through thats why hes captin and loves the club . every one start getting behind the young mot
