I've heard that BMD is still on the FAI shortlist for the Ireland job even though he has publicly turned it down. The feeling is that they will go for other targets but if they have no joy signing another manager then they will look to offer BMD a sizeable contract to try and tempt him. He has made no secret of the fact that he would love to manage his home country at some point, just that the job has come at the wrong time at the moment as he has unfinished (or to be honest barely started) business at Leeds.

O'Neill will sign in the next week. stop scaremongering.

You can't turndown something that hasn't been offered. Did you actually listen to what BMD said? If you did you wouldn't try the wind up. Rumours are just, that I guess you made this one up, haven't you anything better to do. I suggest you listen to his actual words before posting such dross. BMD said himself he's got a lot to learn and achieve before he even considers international management. He spoke of wanting to be part of something big and couldn't speak highly enough of the fan base this great club has, obviously he wasn't referring to you when he said this.

Agree5 Disagree0

I hope he goes and takes Hunt and Smith with him

He, s a young manager and as he said the other day its something he, d like to do one day in the future, but he wants to stay here and since he, s come in he, s done a good job, long may it continue.

Comment 3 . "I hope he goes and takes Hunt and Smith with him"?

If you go and see your doctor, he will prescribe some suitable medication for you before he finally has you sectioned and locked away in a secure mental establishment for a long time . I hope you feel comfortable.

Comment 5. I don't think there's a strong enough drug to cure that level of ignorance

Agree0 Disagree1

So Hunt and Smith have made an impact this season? b b b blinkers

Agree0 Disagree0

How many games has Hunt gone now without scoring?

Just heard that Leeds have made an approach to take Rangers midfield player, Ian Black, on loan for the rest of the season. Black has been banned by SPFL for betting and will miss 3 games, whilst 7 games are suspended, however this doesn't carry over into English leagues.

I would bet you at least a home win, that he will be at ER along with Mackay-Steven and the other Leeds bound Scottish players, very soon.

Believable7 Unbelievable73

Here we go again - Mackay-Steven!

If he was that good, don't you think somebody would have signed him by now?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the criticism that if GMS was any good someone would have signed him by now is flawed. Did anyone else sign Snodgrass before we got him?

Agree2 Disagree1

Bet you a home win? lol. that's big of you!

Agree0 Disagree0

But we have signed GMS, at least some people on this forum said so, during the transfer window.

Agree1 Disagree1

We can do a lot better than I an Black.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why would we sign a central midfield when McD has already said he wants a winger

Agree2 Disagree0

Seen GMS many many times and he is a very very good player and will be a star of the future if he can stay injury free . Ian Black, though . leave well alone

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who said "Seen GMS many many times and he is a very very good player and will be a star of the future".
Can you please compare him to another player, past or present so I can get an idea where you are coming from.

he's sometimes compared to and "old fashioned winger" the likes of Jimmy Johnstone (Celtic Legend) or Willie Johnston (Rangers and West Brom). you can see i'm Scottish . although a few mates of mine who follow Swansea compare him to Lee Trundle? . GMS is really great to watch with all the skills and trickery he posseses . if I was a football manager I would snap him up . MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Jimmy Johnstone I rated big time. Willie Johnstone not so much.
If we take him on loan then it would be good, and if he does well, then perhaps we can sign him in January

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant take him or anyone on loan for the rest of the season. Maximum allowed in emergency window is 93days.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who said owt about for the remainder of the season?

Agree0 Disagree0

The original poster did when he used the sentence - on loan for the rest of the season

I can not believe there is still talk of gms, having witnessed him frequently, all I can say is whoever compared him to Jimmy johnstone or willie Johnston, either has no knowledge of football or is possibly gms's agent. Both of these players were superior players that consistently produced end results, rather than have one or two tricks that only work against lesser opponents.
Robert Snodgrass is and was a better player.
