Fans forum cancelled. bereavement is the reason. Sympathy to mr haigh but the other two directors could fulfil the commitment. unless its a smokescreen for ongoing sale negotiations, new owners and new manager and we may see some entertainment at elland road which we haven't had for so long now.

I don't want this to be right as I think we need a period of consolidation, but.
Sources [ex Operational director] is suggesting noises coming out of ER is that our current owners are indeed going to change. the outfit looking to secure 100% [wont consider anything else] wouldn't deal with Bates and let Mssrs Haigh and Patel act as the stalking horse to clear the way. The money bags is the bloke Bates referred to as 'a wealthy individual' during negotiations who he wanted to deal with to get more money for Monaco. Instead the guy walked away leaving Bates with no one to do the deal with other than GFH. Now he is back and GFH will flip for a couple of million and the recovery of what they have already put in ~ which isn't much it turns out!

I always said that GFH are a front for Bates in that noone ever wanted to deal with him direct and until we had alternative owners to deal with then nothing would change at Leeds. Step forwards takeover part deux.

fans forum cancelled because Haigh has a family funeral to attend to. I might be sceptical but can't patel and Hisham Al Reyes still meet us? Surely they know as much as Haigh?
Sounds like something IS going on behind the scenes and the cynical amongst us might suggest there's a tactical postponement going on here!

Fans forum cancelled by gfh - using excuse that there's been a bereavement in the family, so have had to cancel.
they're using this as a smokescreen to have a meeting to thrash out the deal with the yorkshire consortium headed by adam pearson.
£52m + £1m for every week they've been in charge! bye bye gfh hopefully!

All this sounds quite feasible and very good news if true I will also add and I must stress this is only a hunch, I thought the yappy dogs would of secured Adkins so I was surprised when Robins was announced, could there be more in the rumours of him coming in the close season.

Club was never bought for 52 million, try more 17 million but will make abit of profit on that. let's hope this is sooner than later.
