Giovani dos Santos to join Leeds on loan from Tottenham as a replacement for the departed Max Gradel. dos Santos is not playing regularly at Tottenham, and wants to play regularly for the sake of his international career.

This will be an initial 3 month loan (with the option to extend until the end of the season depending on what other clubs are interested in January) which will be completed at the end of September, before the Portsmouth game.

Any thoughts Ed? {Ed001's Note - I don't think it is likely, Spurs and the player are not keen on him dropping down a level. There were offers in the summer for him, one did come from the Championship (I believe it was Leicester but I am not 100% on that one) and it was rejected because it was the Championship.}

Hope this is true as this lad can play, he just needs to be in the mood and if he is we will have a player on our hands.

He is arguably better than lennon and is far under rated. Would love to see him at leeds and have said so for some time.

Absolutely will not happen spurs were turning down 10million pound bids in the transfer window.

Sounds like absolute nonsense to me. would, of course, be a great signing if true though!

In answer to the 4th reply. I have heard this rumour from a few people (including people who know people from Leeds backroom staff), and was asking Ed to see if he knew anything about any possible deal.

Also, what constitutes a "real rumour" as opposed to a "made up rumour"? Surely no rumours can be real until the deal is completed!

Dos Santos went on loan to Galataseray...dont want anyone with any connection to them!

He s back at tottenham, went to that awful place i cant name in 2010, been at ipswich before so you never know!! need two defender more though

A real rumour is something with substance, which you claim to have. A crappy rumour would be to be signing Rooney on a 6-month loan with a view to a £1m deal outside of the transfer window

Cannot see this happening......He will go to spain / france where his game is more suited and he will be in the shop window for a January move.

Shows it was carp rumour he's playing in uefa cup tonight for tottenham, along with livermore who people said was carp!
