2 lyers off the book already...mika and parker released according to the o.s

Believable34 Unbelievable4

What i dont really understand is that Mika is a Finish international and doesnt seem to have got going at leeds. Its a shame really. Whereas Parker was always inevitable

Agree0 Disagree0

I always hoped Mika would get a good run without injury, but it never came along, same for Parker too.

Both players have proven to be injury prone while they've been at Leeds, so we're loosing nothing but wages.

As both guys contracts run out at the end of the season it feels like they are doing this early to make a point of trimming the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to see dead wood being shifted. Why Grayson couldn't get rid of Parker and not even bother signing Mika is beyond me.

Colin has still got at least 10 more to get rid of though, but it's nice to see him getting started with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think ben parker would do well at a league 1 club if he stays injury free. probably carlise as he has had successful loan spells with them

Agree0 Disagree0

For me,
not fair on mika as he has had hardly had any games and he looked good when he played. ben parker on other hand i never thought much of him tbh.

Agree0 Disagree0

You lot can't tell rubbish when it's staring you in the face. Varynen was never going to make it, injuries or not. Obviously Warnock has seen it straight away. I feel a bit sorry for Parker, hope he has a clear run of injuries.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever said "You lot can't tell rubbish when it's staring you in the face. Varynen was never going to make it, injuries or not" has watched a different player to me! He looked strong, composed with good distribution, but has been unlucky with his injuries, like Rogers. However, I assume and hope that NW has his eyes on someone even better?

Agree0 Disagree0

Varynen is a decent player but was always injured. i said the same thing about danny pugh when we essentially bought him in for gradel - we dont want danny pugh, we want better than danny pugh. same for vayrynen

Agree0 Disagree0

Danny Pugh is a good utility player though. I wouldn't put him in a starting 11, but could be useful to fill in for the odd suspension etc.

paul green on a free in the summer perhaps. source : sky sports

Believable20 Unbelievable8

He is from Ponte??, I bet he gets at least a trial if hes bin released

Agree0 Disagree0

He's from Derby - i live in Nottingham and have a few Derby mates who rate Green very highly. however he's been playing RB and has been a shadow of his former self. i havent seen him play enough to make a comment but like i said - a few sheep mates rate him well.

having said that, it does also mention on the article that he wants to stay at Rams and is settled there so wouldnt read much into it. it's also just paper talk from the Daily Mirror.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haven't seen a lot of him but impressed me at a few of the Ireland games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes from Pontefract in West yorkshire trust me mate.

But yes he isnt a bad player

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup he's from Pontefract - I know his family. He lives in Derby at the mo, but I haven't heard any rumblings about him moving. He's a hard worker, probably a player Warnock would like I would say on a par with Bradley Johnson.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol sorry misread that - i meant he pplays for Derby not from Derby. i havent a clue where he is from all i meant was he plays for sheep.

MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I have heard from a source very close to Green that an approach has been made. Don't know the outcome.

sol bamba from leicester city for 500k the latest rumour i've heard

Believable7 Unbelievable9

500k is a bit steep for a leicester city player who cant get a game, but we do need defenders and he would fit the bill

Agree0 Disagree0

Bamba has played most of the games this season for them and been solid as a rock. 500k is a bargain for a defender as good as he is! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Abslute quality, international class...... sign him up Col

Agree0 Disagree0

Knowing Leicester, they'd probably sell him for 500k, then buy a new defender who's half as good for £4m. Sounds good to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

The right sort of player we need. big centre half who doesnt take s**t from anyone. 500k sounds pretty reasonable

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see them letting him go,He playes regularly,The mirror and the people get 1 rumour in a 1000 correct,so I wouldn't get hopes up

Agree0 Disagree0

He will cost more than 500k.It will more likely be £ 1.5 million upwards which we will not be able to buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

1.5m isnt too bad for a top quality championship defender (e.g. someone like Gorkss, Curtis Davis). not too sure how much quality Bamba has but hes got strength in abundance
