mate just text me that we are to sign Anthony Stokes from Celtic on 1st July - don't know anything about this player but the same mate predicted last year about the Becchio Morrison deal way before it came about

Believe you me, the last thing a great club like Leeds need is Stokes! And I'm Irish. The baggage is way too much.

Well my mate predicted there was going to need a moon out last night and he was right. point been a prediction is a guess not factual information.

Your mate has not predicted anything pal, this is a common rumour over numerous sites.

This guy is a nutter and I sincerely hope that this rumour is false.

Normally, I'm dubious of players who may upset the dressing room but, if they have the skills of Stokes, I might make an exception.
He has a poor record at this level but to be fair to him, it was a few years ago and he was still very young.
In my opinion, could be well worth the risk.

Prediction is a guess. so he guessed the bechhio morrison transfer. I doubt he had facts to prove it was going to happen!

Stokes should stay in Scotland which is about his limit. I could score 20 goals a season playing for Celtic in that division and I'm well past it!

The scottish league is the same standard of football as the championship. stokes is miles better than kevin doyle, he scores, he passes, he's a teamplayer, would b a quality signing but I just think he is 2 good 4 us tbh

Few papers now reporting if Leeds miss out on Kevin Doyle we will go for Anthony Stokes.

Rumours suggesting that Matt Upson will be a Leeds player by next week.

Also, Leeds are willing to offer 750-800k for Tommy Rowe but Peterborough want near to £1 million. Rowe is desperate to move to Leeds despite other clubs interest and a deal can still be done.

Only way we, d get him if it were on a loan deal, unless we get a s*** load of investment asap or get taken over by people with actual £$$$, we will not be bidding for this calibre of player.
