Rumours on a social network site that NW has left Leeds hope so and gives lufc a chance to get a new man in asap to analyse squad and move us forward

Believable10 Unbelievable45

Think maybe just people reacting to the article in tonights YEP and hoping that NW might be going sooner rather than later. Hope its true though

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing on Official Site so think it is either wishful thinking or people putting two and two together and coming up with five!

Warlock won't leave until mathematically impossible as he'll be on a big fat bonus to get promotion.

Agree0 Disagree1

Agree with the 3rd reply as he has stated he thinks the club should appoint a new manager when it is mathematically impossible for the club to win promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether we have neil Warnock or Micky Mouse in charge won't make a blind bit of difference. The squad just isn't good enough but if that's all we can afford then sobeit, championship football at best for a good few years unless this investment becomes a reality.

I do not agree JB, a number of our players, Norris, Green, Tongue, Diouf for instance have been very effective in the recent past at other clubs. It is about how they are led and what system they are asked to play. I think the right motivator with the right system could get a lot more out of them.

Warnock is now talking to GFH about his successor - do the right thing Neil and walk NOW give us some hope - Enjoy the retirement and family

Believable44 Unbelievable9

Yes let's get somebody else in and give him no money sell the rest of our best players and put some more boxes in the west stand.

Even if the manager walks or is pushed now will the story be any different next season? will GFH give the new manager the money to invest in the team to bring us to the required level needed to get out of this division? who ever comes into the club as the new manager will need the financial backing to be able to get the players we need to gain promotion, then the big questions start, even if we do get promotion next season will we be able to stay there? will the money gained from going up be used to keep us up or will they take as much as possible out of the club? looks pretty bleak if the past investment is any thing to go by, there must be someone out there that wants LUFC to get back to where they belong in the top 6 of the premier league and playing in Europe, I just hope for all our sakes we can find someone that really wants LUFC to succeed as a football club and not be used as a cash cow for individuals to make easy money off the backs off hard working and loyal supporters.

Believable35 Unbelievable6

Top 6 of the premier league? as nice as it is to dream, those days are long gone mate, we may with a lot of investment go up, but the top 6 will never happen again.

Agree0 Disagree2

No nothing will change, if Warnock had been given the funds he would have done the job I'm sure, he's proven it so many times.

Agree0 Disagree1

Just what I was thinking to write (except mine would've gone on banter for some reason). 100% Totally correct, LUFC have suffered a long time of minimal investment and its now ground down the fans to breaking/giving up point. GFH put up or sell up
As for the first reply all I can say is you must be kidding or too used to the last 10 sh**te years to dream. Sky made it all about money we just need someone to give us some -it has happened to others.

Agree0 Disagree0

You won't get top 6 in this division, never mind premiership, utt

I went to the game on Tuesday took the family. I haven't been for a while and I was stunned by the atmosphere. for as long as I can remember the fans have always been massively optimistic. Not now and I believe because they've finally realised that they are being shafted by the owners. Not one of those players on Tuesday is good enough to wear the shirt and we have no chance of promotion with current squad. This club is and should be s premiership tram capable of challenging for honours.

Agree0 Disagree0

What evidence do we have that we are being shafted by the owners? They have just come in in December, and have (quite rightly) decided to wait until the summer, and a new manager, before they start investing. Why bother spend loads of money in January if you know you're going to have a new manager and therefore a new team in the summer?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates still in charge, Warnock still blowing his own trumpet and delivering nowt.
Getting into the playoffs would be nice if only put a million-or-so more in the coffers but, I've said before; I wouldn't want to go up with this squad or manager. This squad would be thumped by everyone in the Premier League and that would set us back about 5 years.
GFH is doing it right, so far.
Wait until after the summer and if you don't have a bright, rosy glow on your peacock colour cheeks, THEN start the condemnation.

lets hope gfh pull their finger out next season, we need at least 10-20 million to get out of this division, its getting harder and harder with teams getting more money from buy outs, let's hope they put the squad first instead of their own pockets.

Believable22 Unbelievable4

A bit like Leicester City? Spending £20M+ since they were taken over and looking quite shaky for the playoffs. Spending money doesn't guarantee anything in this division. Signing the right players and playing them in their correct position is more important than spending £3-4M on a player.
